Ah, sorry. Connection is 1,5/0,5 Mbit/s. PC has Windows XP SP2, Geforce FX5600, AMD Athlon 3000+. Reall wierd because it does work sometimes and when using the practise mode, but most of the time not in MP.

This thread isn't that old yet so I'll just post this here. I bought RO: OST '41-'45 about 1.5 weeks ago. So far, the gameplay itself is excellent, still true FPS but very realistic. Although a tad clumsy sometimes, but still overall very nice. My problem is that nearly every time I join a server, it sort of times out. Jams. Usually the situation is that I join a server, wait the normal 3-5 mins for the map to load and just choose side and the role. Then I deploy and that's where the trouble is. I rarely can move at all, and can only fire a bit, depending on the weapon. If I'm carrying an SMG, I can keep on shooting for as long as I want, atleast in continuos full auto. On semi-autos, like pistols, I seem to be able to empty the mag. On bolt actions, it's a single round. And melee action of course. So, basically the game jams, wouldn't be surprised if it disconnects from the server all by itself. Just me standing there. Sometimes it simply lags out. Last Thursday, first I got into a game normally, worked at the first try. It was full though, and because I was playing with a mate I decided to change the server. He got into one, worked perfectly for him and his brother who later joined us. After getting into the server successfully after 3 to 5 tries, that's over 20 mins, I played for about 10-15 mins, then the match ended and server changed. In there, Odessa, I spawned as a Russian, and could actually see friendlies running, but not moving. The same has happened atleast once before, I was able to roam around the map (not running though) but nothing actually happened around me. I tried to play on atleast 2 or 3 servers tonight. Tried both a tad, nothing. I managed to spawn once or twice, few times I couldn't actually get into the field either. Despite trying for over 20 mins, no playing for me tonight. I've only played online for about 4-7 times so far. And tried to join atleast few dozen times, that's a very bad ratio and really pisses me off. Could anybody help? I'm also planning to try agin tomorrow night, another "'dathon' evening coming...

Ah, OK. Yes, knew that, just got a little confused when you were quoting my post, where I just noted him that the NATO 7.62 is 51mm long, and the 54mm long is the Russian one. But maybe that's enough of that.

Nope. Theyre making both Russian 7.62x39mm and NATO 7.62x51mm versions. Ummm... your point being...

It's 7.62x51 NATO. 7.62x54 (53?) is the Russian one. Anyways, thanks for the info. Hmmm... 7.62x39 with an JHP bullet? Nice G36's, too. Got to hold the civilian version, SL8 (Yes, Jackal is making one afaik) few days ago, very light and comfortable.

Just a thought: next time, give us a list of the individual face classname. Anyways, dug 'em up from the config, so if anyone needs them (for i.e. photography), here they are: <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">In example, lllm_sol0-14 means that the faces start from llm_sol0 and go up to llm_sol14. Lol, have to agree with that. I have had some very hilarious moments when playing FDF on ofp.info server. Rolled a PaSi on it's roof... Once I killed half of an enemy squad that was firing at me using a silenced Uzi (they noticed me when I was approaching, both got prone and they opened fire). The rest ran away. Managed to get myself killed while trying to blow up an NSV with the HK69, though. Missed, it noticed me...

I haven't posted mine in a while, that's the reason. Gotta go digging my folders. Although I have to agree. Almost all of the screenies are just, pretty much, suberb. Nephilim's mercs under your model editing too, NSX? Hmmm... Lovely work converting the units. ETR (estimated time of release) on them?

I think that the G36C's are included in the OFPL Special Weapons pack, that the GROM addon uses. Check that.

Well, afaik, you can actually choose a face from the .pbo as you character face, atleast by editing the config a bit, but it's only work with the units that have the head model and also the script might just kick in; not sure though. For arabic faces, check the DMA Toyota wars. They have the Libyan faces, which also include Bin Laden and Saddam Hussein, too, I think. As of, now the released units that use Llauma's head v2 are (sorry for no links): Offtime's GROM OFPL units (if I got the name wrong, well atleast they're Polish Army) DMA Toyota wars units (Chad, Libyan etc.) (uses it's own facetex) SgtEv's SWAT units v2 Lasers PJ's and CCT's TQP US Army Spec Forces (was released some days ago) NorFor units, updated beta (?) by... Wilco (?) (uses it's own facetex) DLEM's ACU units Wilco's Multicam retex of the above That's all I can think off my head. WIP projects include atleast: Bambi's Blackops v2 IM:UC units Operation Faceplant units (community addons with Llauma's head added) EDF units by Ironsight (continued & updated) BAS Tonali units "Redux" (mostly DMA units, it seems, though) EDIT: DLEM's ACU and Wilco's Multicam added. And EDF's, too.

Yeah its his head and we just need to find a few more faces as we currently dont have many for his head. Check if DMA facepack (for Toyota Wars units) is any good. Seems to have Saddam.

Might've been me... had few of those moments, although missing other planes by inches is quite familiar for me... as said, you should see me in Pacific Fighters . Quite a nice mission, although I think that nobody actually managed to score an air-to-air victory... Quite a nice night, although it was somewhat quiet, and I hit barely anything. Although driving the M1A1 was fun, dunno what holodoc thought.

Nice answers, and sounds cool ag_smith, but still not helping. Point being that the custom faces are for Llauma's head version 2, but I can't use them with some units, because (apparently) the facestex2 script kicks in after few secs and switches back the original face. The units I'm having the problem atm are, as mentioned, Offtime's GROM, few units of Laser's PJ's and these fellas. -

Nice work there, tested them briefly. I have the goggles problem too, they start with the goggles on and there's an error text on the top of the screen (propably a typo in the goggles section of the config or something like that). Also, the units that have black baseball/watch cap or black... ummm... sweater (?) look quite awful, as the black texture is really plain. Just no texture in it; I suggest you take a look at those NorFor units or RHS snipers, or Bambi's Blackops, they look alot nicer in that sense. Also the 3D sleeve pockets look a tad wierd, and some of the gear looks a tad "wierd" in a way, too. I'm also having troubles using custom head textures as the scripting kicks in after about a second. Also got the problem with some of Laser's units (only few though) and Offtime's GROM, though, as I have mentioned few times already. Any help? But overall, excellent work. Just keep working on them. -
