They look fine, well most of them (haven't got around testing each one quite yet), but I seem to have a very wierd "bug" with the garrison units. They all have deep blue eyes. Well, that might not sound like a problem, but when my custom face textures aren't even supposed to have blue eyes... it looks a tad wierd sometimes. Almost thought I'd put an alien into the game when tried to "face" one of the soldiers (just the plain Garrison one) with my friend's face.

Maybe I should've applied to a newsposter there after all. Would've posted about these about 12 hours ago... when I came home. Just starting to test them, they look really sweet. Thanks for finally releasing them, waiting for the next ones!

Few anim packs actually allow you to shoot, unless you use "replacement anims" such has DMA Nextgen pack, which do improve the look of the anims.

And Afaik, the name "Lightning" was given for the P-38 in the UK. Original Lockheed name was apparently Atalanta (atleast that's what Wiki says it to be). Also wierdly, the engines weren't contra-rotating in the "Euro" models.

Yep... especially with advanced editing programs like Photoshop... use "Save for web", and you can have the pics down to around 200 kB or even lower with no noticeable loss of quality. The image you posted... I can get it down to about 160 kB and you wont even know the difference (the image is a bit rough anyways so .png wont help very much). At full quality, it's still 600 kB.

Welcome. Been working on the consept (just a little though)... no major success. Tested a version with BMI Blackops, not sure which would suit better. BMI's have the advantage of the normal head mapping, but the model is a tad different and looks somewhat wierd. Those Umbrella Corp. units look interesting, maybe we could use them too as the politician? Still no new speeking platform yet...

I fly everything (sometimes including driving vehicle, i.e tanks) with joystick and set the mouse to "freelook" ("Numpad ," I think). Easy because I can target with other hand and fly with other. Also devastating in V-80, you can use the cannon/sight with the mouse. Fun for picking off inf. though. Any idea of the vehicle set?

Lol, sure if we get nice planes and my PC can handle it. Let's hope that all goes well... I'm a fairly crazy pilot. Flying upside down at 5m is fun... Let's just hope that it doesn't end up like Ramstein incident. Got FS2004 (with tons of addon planes), LOMAC and Pacific Fighters installed on my machine along with a fairly good joystick (MS Sidewinder FF2), so this idea of OFP flightshow sounds fun. Might not be the best pilot, especially when it comes to OFP attacking (and flight modelling), but as said, I'm wacko.
