Well, the 1st point might be intentional. Afaik tracers in real life, as they differ from standard bullets in their construction a bit, don't have identical ballistics with normal rounds. Haven't tested so can't say if the "mislead" is overdone.

Well, last night was... interesting for my part. The first 2 or 3 hours of effective gaming time went totally lost as I started making a Tempest skin for myself for Il-2, then I had to wait, wait, and get the correct version of Skye... glad you guys died quickly. After the mission got going the fun started... me as an Apache pilot. First 15 mins were spent playing around with OneShotPaddy's Apache, then the fun began... you know the rest. Sorry for that 1 TK though, dunno when that happened. The mission on Freya was fun, although the way it ended on my behalf (less than 5 min from the mission end)... not the way it should have. Driving around at nearly full speed along the roads with a jeep was fun though, thanks for the order, Jinef. Just next time, just type "turn your lights on". Oh, about Wednesday... sorry for flying that Chi into the field-of-fire of the BTR... heard the shots and I was dead.

Had a bit of fun with these (and well, Mustang GTRs actually) on the Arabia island... they fit in very nicely, once more, excellent job. Just a quick question, are the textures "swappable"? Like if I want different jacket/trouser combinations, maybe dark glasses... can one just define them from the config without any further editing?

Hmmm, gaven't used it very much but if memory serves, PAATool is known to degrade the quality during conversion... heard that PAnTool doesn't have the problem though (or it's less noticeable), but haven't done many/any .tga>.paa conversions with it, even though I have it.

That you trying to take off and crashing? What were your take-off settings? Just tested with the Jag... with full power & flaps and using a joystick, I used about 50-60 % (take-off point "realistic", after the taxiway) of the usable runway.

Then we move, attack a little patrol or 2 there, I decide to start sniping, we attack the town... and suddenly MG fire all over. Kudos for that sneaky guy, got pretty much all of us... RPK vs PK at the end heh.

1. Edit button exists. 2. Eh? Afaik, BMP-1 only has a 73mm cannon... and if the Iraqis used steel sabots in their tanks, how the hell would they suddenly start using DU rounds in their BMPs? 3. DU is actually fairly soft, it's just very dense. There are much stronger and denser materials on Earth, but DU is pretty much the simplest solution. Although not the most environmentally friendly... 4. 1/3rd of the gunpowderin M2HBs (which aren't chain guns btw; recoil operated)? You sure? Sounds a tad... ummm... underpowered.

Only things that come into mind are SLAP and Mk211 Raufoss rounds, and afaik both have a rolled steel penetration of less than 4 inches. Eh?
