Just tried 1.4 the first time, Mechas and aircraft that is... very nice. Will need to see more. The aircraft fly well, sound powerful (well, like a fighter jet should) and are heavily enough armed. Also the Mechas are nice to battle when not using the missiles... BOING BOING BOING WOOOOOSH GRAAAAAAR!

Back from school... nice exercise. I was stupid enough to take my bike, and not use the actual road... it might've been a tad more open. Well, going to school wasn't that much of a problem, except that it took me 10 mins (my record is 2:30 when coming home)... coming back was even "funnier". No "comparison 24h later" photos of the same spot, as the road leading there seemed to be covered with snow, with some footprints leading there... maybe I'll get a pair of knee-high leather boots and get a pic for you.

Yeah, know what you mean... most of mine are crap unless I got few minutes to take the pic, though. Still snowing outside. I'm starting to wish I'd have a Land Rover or something.

Thanks... guess the camera ain't that bad. I just stopped, took my camera, turned it to "landscape" mode, aimed and grabbed a pic. Then, when posting, just plugged the USB cable to my PC, opened the pic in PS and used the "Save for web" function straight away... lazy me.

Heh, nice pics... iNeo, might have to take you a pic tomorrow... first snow came during the weekend methinks, and already now it's almost a snowstorm outside. Atleast 3 hours ago it was still pretty light but... you never know. This is how it looked about 3,5 hours ago. And an "unpaired" pic taken about 3 weeks ago. Can't go out and take a pic of what it looks now, since there simply isn't enough light for my poor little camera anymore...

He just opened the BIS face textures (found in data.pbo or somewhere) and converted them (by PS... it's not THAT easy) to the texture mapping used by Llauma's heads. I know, because I've done about a dozen custom face textures. Edited BIS texture. Yours truly. For personal use only, so far atleast. Enables you to use Llaumas head textures on models with the head model, like the BIS textures on normal units. In short, you can use a custom face texture with the Llauma heads, but then again not with normal models using BIS mapping.

Mouse for me, although I've tried a trackball. Just never got around it, it was only once so... seemed like a nice device though, maybe I could invest in one. Still using the non-wireless optical mouse that came with the PC, so that's 2-3 years for it now... it had a matte grey finish on it's sides but now you can pretty much see through it... gives a nice effect with the red light though. Also, about the left-right hand issue, I'm actually a right handed but atleast for gaming, I use my left hand. Just couldn't go with WASD and sticked to my arrow keys, propably the main reason. Pretty useful, as I can use Ctrl-Shift combie for movement and most of Numpad keys with single hand while keeping the other on mouse.

Developed for Spetznaz troops if I'm not wrong... that should give you an idea. Basically, able to keep you alive against couple of armed fellas.

Hehee looking rather nice. Mapfact, Agent_Smith and DMA Libya objects... sounds good. Just don't do too little, nor too much. Just a suggestion... maybe space out the windmills just a tad? They seem to have enough space to do a full 360-degree turn simultaneously, already, but if my estimations are in any way near correct, it's going to be rather tight.

Pretty much every plane in OFP can do that (apart from An-124 maybe... done loops with B-52 though), as long as you have a joystick. With keyboard and mouse, it's impossible due to the game engine.

CSJ Optica, but you can't even get that thing to above 150 knots... hmmm... yeah, for easy-to-fly 2-seaters I'd say your best choise might be Tornado or Su-24 Fencer. Tut tut. S-37 (Su-47) and Su-37 are 2 different planes. Also, Tu-160 is bigger than the B-1, and afaik the only B-1 for OFP is of very low quality. Il-78 is a tanker... yeah there's atleast couple of inflight refuelers for OFP (early versions of Hawks C-130 and a KC10A is being worked on), but dunno of their usability in OFP. Wouldn't mind one or two, though. Dunno, haven't heard of RHS making any actual planes yet. SFM fot their very nice Su-27 and Scars got the Su-30s, but that's just about it. I guess Footmunch would be more likely to do them...
