    Okay how many men is a platoon? I'm doing this campaign mission where the russians were found guilty of atrocities and forced to pull all of their forces from the island but one platoon stayed to exact they're revenge on the FIA. Now I need to know how many men I have to kill until they're all dead or captured.

    Terrorists baby.  Now we got the anti terrorism in effect instead of all this country vs. country bull that we've been doing for ages.  I'm sick of seeing all these real life countries go at it over and over again in ofp.  I just want to nab "the bad guys" not the russians or the koreans just "the bad guys".

    The stories come much easier when you can name any old bad principle and say thats what their fighting for instead of defence of their country or something too touchy.

    The only unfortunate side is terrorist fights are short and usually over in one night.  Delta comes in and its over.  SF comes in and its over.  Etc.  But hey its not hurting anyones feelings in real life.

    Remember the terrorists from the Die Hard trilogy?  They were a force to be reconed with. I hope that since this is a beta, in the next release we can get some actual characters like terrorist leaders with actual names, unless of course we have to use our imagaination and make them up ourselves.

    The problem with american military thinking is they put technology over principles.  Technology is only one of our cultural strengths, but not the one to lean on.  Fundamentally we've already lost.  We did complete the objective though.  Why we're still there is whats pissing me off.  Spending money putting the country in debt over an insurgent who altogether costs maybe two hundred bucks vs. like a squad of marines in an apc that costs thousands.  Thats the problem with the american military.  Plus theres this whole perfectionist idea at "have to be the best".  Just stand up for a strong idea and you won't have nothing to worry about.  Yeah technology is going to help you stand but not when you're losing the war based on principle.  That's what we're doing.  The iraqis are using principle on us and we're going into the lab to build the better mousetrap, when they obliterate the mouse problem altogether, though on a small scale, over and over again.  Ridding your house of mice longterm is much better than building a mousetrap for when one arrives.  They're culture has been serving the world for ages from handwriting to spoken language to everything else.  We need to just serve our part and leave them iraqis alone.  Down with ethnocentricity.  We got the objective now lets pull out.  Don't try to conquer.

    The economy.  Another ethnocentric problem.  What if I have a problem looking people in the eye.  If I look my boss in the eye I'm supposed to get a job says a job hiring company.  Yet in my culture it means time out lets come to an agreement really quick.  You must be careful how you use looking someone in the eye.  So why is this person trying to teach me how to get a job.  Furthermore, why is it that his way of getting a job works, and for whom?  Stupid I tell ya.  I should be a writer, but look at what i have to go through just to prove that I can write.

    In my house we think like a team, a unit under one principle, love.  God determines the rules, the chain of command enforces them.  Why would a rule be to look a boss in the eye if thats my weakness?  So that I can't get the job.

    My name is my name and right now I'm working on a multiplayer campaign called "...Under No Circumstances!"  You play the role of a Green Beret sent into Nogova under the pretense of a routine evacuation of five college students  when you witness for yourself the atrocities that General Gubas forces, an ally of the united states, is carrying out and decide to do something about it and influence the chain of command that something should be done.  Kind of like tears of the sun.  I was going to use the tears of the sun seals but they have no backpacks and to witness atrocities you really gotta carry a sack full of days worth of gear, which the tears of the sun seals don't have.  There is a backpack addon by andy I could use, but I decided not to even do that.  I went with green berets from the HYK US Forces pack also known to you guys as the SF.  Mainly because Nogova has lots of climates and so does the HYK pack has lots of camos.  If I were going to do mungari I'd use that andy backpack addon and the TOS seals but too late.  It's been keeping me pretty busy so far, but I am a classified schizophrenic who lives with my mom and I got lots of time on my hands to do this stuff when I'm not picking up or doing whatever else I feel like. What missions are you guys up to? Do you have any questions about my campaign?

    Why not? We got a fire script, we got ladder extractions. Why can't we get a frigate of some sort. The only one released doesn't even work right. Mine shut ofp down. I deleted the addon. We need some really good long boats that are used possibly to ship drugs or smuggle people. Or hide terrorists.

    I guess hostage.  Political Prisoner. I'm making this mp campaign and i was coming up with a reason to go into this country and operate and the first mission is to free some..people who were just having a tough time leaving the country. Then the next mission was a sabotage and we met the resistance. Now for this next mission I guess we'll free some political prisoners.

    Explain, Jones. Lets point it out. I know it could lead to flaming but at least pm me with it or the person whom you feel is hurting the flow. That would make the flow keep flowing rather than stop it questioning what it is you are implying. Lets continue, and if it has anything to do with me making points as i feel them it certainly wasn't said so nothing wrong with that. I know thats a fact. Lets carry on while jones gets his act together. .

    The economics chain I see here in Peoria, Arizona has a self advocate stance on poverty.  Kinda like, "who cares".  They should have a team that focuses on solutions to things like these all day and could come up with one within a week or a month at least for one poor person, but they don't.  There is an economics team but what are their interests?  It certainly isn't poverty.  If we could nail the solution to poverty here in America then we can nail it everywhere and I believe that solution lies within affordable living as far as needs go, with extra money for wants.  Thats the goal but the American economics team isn't working on it right now.  The focus is on war so the economics team can kick back and get paid.  If I were in charge of that sector....  I'd take surveys, do interviews, find out who isn't working, what kinda money they need, and why they can't get it.  If you're an adult and you can work, you should have the right to more needs than eating. Oh and I'll have you all know, the day that I started taking my role in society more seriously, is the day that I noticed that weed was hurting my life.

    The man in beret makes an excellent intelligence officer.  Thats for those scenes when I really want interaction between american and resistance or civillian forces and can't use my soldiers and don't want to make a cutscene, i just use my intel officer and have him safely escorted to a chopper.  Very nice.

    Edit: Personally I have no problem with the soldiers coming with backpacks permanently on especially if they are special forces because of their long missions behind enemy lines. It's no an option to not wear a backpack with three days worth of gear at the least. You can always imagine that theres a radio in their backpack somewhere. Don't want there to be, make a briefing saying it broke. Even do like me and use sound files from the original campaign like the one where the radio actually does break...im going too far.

    I tink being liberal means allowing gay marriage. My thoughts on that are, let the church say that the marriage is official or not. Then all the laws that apply to marriage are recognized by all, because that church said so. The chuch might lose members, but hey thats an effect of supporting something God goes against in the first place.
