  1. I'm glad I found it. I was wondering if the kneepads and elbowpads had been added yet and the removable helmet script. I was also wondering are you going to use a script for the short sleeves or are you going to just like..have short sleeved units, as in sleeves rolled up not short sleeved t shirts. Another thing, what about nomex? I saw that most of your units don't have the bdu's hanging down, like lasers early work. Alot of people said that they'd like that changed cuz of its weirdness and he changed it to rave reviews. You wonder what kind of seals im picturing huh? Well, these SEALs.

  2. Why wasn't Iraq carried out like a special operation if Bush didn't want to wait for approval from the united nations?  I am thinking this right now, but I think maybe because of Saddam's high level of security.  I think that special operations should have preceeded the invasion for one.  Two, I think special operations should preceed Iran.

    Taken from DOD military dictionary:

    Quote[/b] ]

    (DOD) Special Operations

Operations conducted in hostile, denied, or politically sensitive environments to achieve military,

    diplomatic, informational,

and/or economic objectives employing military capabilities for which there is no broad conventional force requirement.

These operations often require covert, clandestine, or low visibility capabilities.

Special operations are applicable across the range of military operations.

They can be conducted independently or in conjunction with operations of conventional forces or

other government agencies and may include operations through, with, or by indigenous or surrogate forces.

Special operations differ from conventional operations in degree of physical and political risk,

operational techniques, mode of employment, independence from friendly support,

and dependence on detailed operational intelligence and indigenous assets. Also called SO.

  3. I don't want it to seem like smoking is totally cool or even good because smoking affects your pleasure sensors in your brain.  When you smoke anything it feels good.  It spoils you.  So when you get bored and want to do something the first thing you're going to think is to smoke, especially after you've done it for so long.  You'll be like a damn kid in a candy store after awhile.  The harder the drug, the more pleasure it gives you, which is why some drugs are illegal because they give you so much pleasure you can't turn back, or if you do it too much you could die, but it gives you so much pleasure whats to stop you from wanting to experience pleasure?  So thats why drugs and other vices are bad.  It'll make you like it to the point where it'll destroy your body and you won't care.

I think that it is the responsibility of every individual who DOESN'T TAKE PART IN THESE VICES to not only say why its bad, but also give an ALTERNATIVE to doing it, or perhaps invite someone to enjoy an alternative activity WITH THEM so that they can learn to quit as well.  Like one good example is I think on the second page of this thread where it says something like he watches cartoons, plays video games and something else i forget.  So invite someone you know to take part in the normal drug free life you lead or just be stuck up like the rest of the socially accepted crowd.

Until there is a substitute, there will be no change.

That should be the new anti drug slogan.  I so desperately want to live a normal life though minus the partying with weed or licquor, because I think it might get me a decent girlfriend.  I'd like to meet some people who live like normal people.  They be so busy though. Matter of fact, I'm going to take part in this, and quit tonight at 8:02pm arizona time on October thirteenth.

  4. @ Joltan: lol. Political refugee status in order to get a free stay in another country and set up with a job? Is that possible? Man, i'd hate to leave forever. America isn't that bad. I just would like an easier life with all the comforts accessible that i left behind. It wouldn't have to be another country but if it were I ....I don't know guys. I guess I would miss America too much. You know what. Count me out. I love America. The gangs. Rudeness. Bad food. I'll take it all. God Bless America!! Sniff sniff, close the thread. Close the thread, dude. Sniff sniff. sad_o.gif God bless America.

  5. Hey, if you guys over at unsung discuss this, please make the scripts and files available to the community.  I'd very much enjoy this.  I tried taking on a voice file project myself, it took off a little bit amongst the gamespy crowd.  You can download it here if you want.  It was more serious themed than all the other voice packs for more serious missions.

  6. @ Munk: lol   biggrin_o.gif

I can get two pairs of Reverb jeans in Arizona for 55 american dollars on sale.  A name brand T-shirt either from Sean John or Timberland or Echo Unltd. would cost me around twenty to thirty dollars.  Let's say I moved to England or Canada, what would it cost me then?  How much is minimum wage?  What are hours like?

Edit: Weed is the last thing on my mind. I just hope I don't get pneumonia or something or get sick like i used to really bad when I lived on the East coast.

  7. One of the reasons i like the flashpoint engine is because BIS allowed for I guess you'd say dynamic voice files played from a soldier with the lip syncing and you can do your own files. Well with a little scripting this can go a long way. Get a scripter to make you up a script to where if your squad numbers are down to like half, one of your guys says "We got to get the hell out of here. We're at half strength." The only problem is, how do you know he won't die? So but anyways, my idea is for a pack of voice files that could go with basically any mission just for us mission editors. Quality voice acting to incorporate into our missions.

  8. From what I saw on the discovery times channel, the umm, militia leader would wear a camo outfit, though this isn't always the case, but usually the leader of the platoon, squad whatever has the most military gear or looks the wealthiest or toughest.

  9. I'm just tired of everybody wanting money, but when it comes to me having money to actually spend, they won't hire me. It's always like that, but I'll figure it out. I'm not screaming racism or nothing, but the last time I got a job, I had to get a white man to do the talking for me and then I got hired. I'm very clean cut looking except for some minor facial hair which I refuse to shave because black people get hair bumps when we shave due to our coarse and very short and curly hair which curls into the skin when cut close (on the face at least) and then grows under the skin and hurts like a b*tch to pop and pull the hair out and wipe away the puss and come to work with a bleeding face and blah blah blah. So I want a job that doesn't make me shave. I feel like I'm stuck here though in cozy and hot Phoenix Metro Area. I just gotta pray God makes a way for me because the way I see it, I won't be in the lap of my moms luxury forever. The career I'm persuing though is hip hop so I definitely need an urban area. Toronto may be that, but hell, if they ain't giving them no jobs down there, what am I going to go there looking for work for then? Straight up. I'd love to live in Canada though. Relaxed atmosphere, free medical, thats what I'm talking about. I'll just deal with the cold, but if that weather makes me sick every year then I'll come back to the desert.

  10. @Lluama: I know I can dress how I want anywhere, its just that I want to be able to purchase decent urban clothing and music and adult swim dvds and all that cool stuff I like and I know I can't in the "backwoods" so I was looking for a good urban community.  I heard that Vancouver is my best bet so I'll look into going there or if not then Montreal.  Based on how bad blacks are doing in Toronto, I think I'll stay away from there.  They sound like they need an exodus.

Edit: @bn880: What makes Vancouver the best right now? Are you sure its hip as far as merchandise goes? I could care less about the club scene, thats expensive just to dance too, hell no. I'm not into that.

  11. Cmon man, somebody volunteer to help. Everybody wants missions, im trying to make one, so far though ive been given solutions, none of them have been able to help it, one of ya'll has to take an extra step and try to get this mission. I thought ya'll wanted missions? If I can figure this out forever, ill even write a correct tutorial, so that everyone can do it, like ya'll don't.

  12. So what I basically want to know is, where is the most "black people friendly" area in Canada. Like they sell all the black style of clothing and stuff because I take great care in dressing urban and I don't want to move to the middle of nowhere wearing generic stuff. I heard of a rapper from Toronto named Kardinall Offishall, so is that a good area for someone like me to live and still stay hip? Other than that, whats the first place I need to stop on my way there? Perhaps some place to sleep then in the morning become a citizen somewhere? I want to go there because of the free medicare. I'm sick of going broke everytime I get sick.

  13. Man, i had the chance to ride a horse once but i refused. I guess i was scared. I definitely don't know how he lost his mobility, maybe he hit a tree or something. I think thats how it happened, I'm not sure.

  14. This story sounds too much like porn.  I feel like I'm supposed to be turned onto the soldiers or something the way you go into detail about them doing boring stuff like smoking.  I don't like that.  Cut the fat off the meat and gimme something i can use.  This story lacks a $hitload of combat.  It's boring.  Try again. From the top.
