    well considering OPFOR will use real comblock vehicles when aviable the VISMOds only round out the numbers needed for most Soviet-style actions, I drove a real BMP-1 a lot of the time there or a BTR70. Mostly diffcult keeping said equipment operational in te rugged enviroment, that and the M551 Sheridain lead to covering about seven vehicles. Due to is size made using it as Red armor great.

    VISMODS, based of the M1 M60, M551, and M113. We were still using real BMPs and M84 T72 tanks there .

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

    I would suggest a F or S model cobra for the Army. The BOH one is perfect. A littlework on the textures to make an army one work good. Sounds handling and performance is good . Replace cobra with base AH64A As Cobra was taken out of Service early 2000. Only trainers are still floating around as the AH1S were mothballed and sold to other contries. Config the used addons to use the correct crews. the OH58A Marfy made be a nice addition as well.

    Well was a few islands that came really close. I'll have to recheck them. I have one of the actual maps hanging on my wall having been OPFOR there a few dozen times. I had started one them got recruited into another mod and stopped working on it.

    PC commando also made a bunch of federal types in suits I use for body guard duty. And there are FBI agents seem to be a CS import but for eye candy they do ok till the more recent units coming out are released.

    LSR Addons

    The armored crewman coveralls were phased out in the first gulfwar, most crews wear BUDS now so in the event the track or tank is koed they can dismount and sitll eveade enemy contact with cammo. Anyone still wearing the OD green jumpsuit is had it since they were last issued. Marines tend to wear nomex flight suits of desert tank or MARPET cammo. The nomex is very hot on the inside of armored vehicles opposed to the much cooler summer weight BDUs. The OD green coveralls are left overs from the 80s. Switching over the more mobile rapid combat force a armoed crewman can simpaly do infantry movements with the change of his CVC to fritz helmet. Not even the Army Nataional guard get issued the coveralls anymore. DOD is too cheep.. Crews sometimes obtain standard flight suits for desert use. But most just wear BUDs, even the Stryker crews have special BUDs issued to them for their use with helmets some with built in huds. thge old problem of unit SOP usualy one person had something all had to have matching equipment unless in the field then its a bit more laxed. some of the reasons you will see guys with german combat equipment for personal use. Using images on the net is a very bad problem due to do not know when the photo was taken. I do have my aFV crew gear if you need for rewferance, be nice having the 80's style crews for the tanks. Not to sound bad but rather LASER not be forced to make all units cause most of these guys are gonna swoon over to the neck person who can edit a model to look pretty in game at least Laser is able to make great units that work . Not all unit making should fall into Laser's hands because them everything will look the same. Already doing east addons and now west addons people now whine for resistance stuff and ignore other guys who do quality work. Then over tax laser who is already redlining as it is. =P

    vilas VIP pack. Has a civilain VIP for both east and west I often use with the hummer 2 pack or mercedies pack. There was a generals pack released for west side. The Bush character and regan character was a face pack hat was released a long time ago. I commonly use in rescue ops. I suggest you stars looking for em.. over at Ofp.cz

    sef_humve has army and airforce hummers in the pack, if not the combat hummers were more than adiquite if you did not wanna deal with bug issues. Marine hummers usually are decked out with fording kits which is the tall exhaust pipe and air breather stack. The mg jeep should be replaced with M1025A1 Slant back with 50 cal with or without shield kit.

    what about Army flight crews driving Marine Cobras, and airforce aircraft. All Marine addons should be seperated and Army be correct units. Seeing most of the supported military packs used have both sets of units. Also noticed Marine Humvees being placed with army units as well. Would have thought you guys know the differance beteween the service branches.

    Thank you but not really helpfull at all in pointing out said bugs so that they maybe fixed. Common problem is that the textures miss going into the pbo cause they are associated with another addon.

    Sea demons Mig29 be great drawback is it has a bug in the ground handling problem AI cannot taxi this aircraft it was fixed by TommyD but broken again with the officail update of the Mig 29.. Also includes the geman and polish verssions for the west side. the russain planes cannon is also incorrectly named that should be fixed if included. Its using th enato degsignation insdread of the russain made Gish (sp) autocannon.

    been running the 1984 woodland and 2005 ffur real hard in MP with my clan, some of the skining work was rushed it seems but overlooked that after a while, noticed dead guys often crawl around on the ground still able to kill you. often gotta put another round into them to make sure they are dead. Nice makes easy missions a bit more of a challange and hard missions impossable. Miss the exploding bodies they where great in MP when you nail an enemy with a 50 cal or rpg. Did notice chopper dust sometimes runs even if the engine is off on the chopper and the blades are still. The exploding car problem was also in WGL and CLSA mod contact them to learn how to fix it, it should be at least random cars due explode often when hevilly damaged. where a lot of miilitary vehicles do not because they are not powered by gas but diesel. Usualy hydricl fluids light fire and the vehicle burns up. Stowed ammo often is what is exploding on tactical vehicles. should put the exploding car scripts back in also with a high randomness. Maybe add the K-Kill scripts in as well, managed to get it to somewhat work in MP without much lag. But only for east tanks. Must west side combat vehicles the turrents are bolted down so it takes a really large explossion to tear it from the hull like several 220 mm arty rounds as a VIEB.

    well can see how the Merch release is misshandled by the community to figure out if its wworth doing more work on this stuff. I got free time coming up now my retraining is over for airborne shool. Never try to go through that when your near 40. Well now waiting on paperwork. And recertifcation on most of my other stuff. Talk about ass grinder.

    FFUR - Huge Release !!

    Ive run a number of MP missions with ffur with no problem so far, must be an mission with stock BIS units to work even tried MCTI for about 8 hours. A lot harder due to the enhanced AI on both sides when inner town fire fights ensue. a slight bit of lag but its a full three sided battle with east weat and resistance going with air armor and infantry.. Really happy with it was worth dling it eight times till got a good copy. only gripe is the ironsites on the M60 in FFUR1985 having been married to the M60 since 1986 its a bit off, the SBJ seems the better of them besides the INQ iron site of the M60 machine gun. It has a flip up ladder adjust able site for when its carried our mounted in a T & E.

    Y2K3 Version 7.3

    well finally tried Y2K mod for shits and grins, mostlikely the final hold out, mostly to compair it for MP use with my gaming clan due to FFUR likes to go tits up a lot durring missions. Well was pretty decent, only main gripe was the armor is unusable in missions due to lag issues. Anything that involved large scaled armor missions was a nocan do. But kinda noticed that with the hig poly units Orcs and the USMC mods tend to toss out. Orcs often offers different levels of addons for performance but not with vehicle addons. Y2K earned a spot in being used in infantry vs infantry missions at least and some of the more intersting missions like Police Cops and Serial Killer missions. Must be good had seveal all weekend sessions trying to complete those missions but were were doing everything the hardway. Nice can enter most MP games on other servers without too many issues. Other than ones who porpusly have adons that must have or their oen personal mods in operation to play..

    Mortor LAv-25 works fine using it like in the real military and spotting for players crewing it for fire missions. UAV is kinda wasted on it, AI never operate indirect fire weapons anyway without COC scripts.

    Well try some of the mods liek ffur and ECP and Y2K the sigmand tanks often got enhanced with mostof ht nice scripts the M1A2 SEP uses. as well as the east side armor to make things even.

    Well I can leave myself still aviable in emergency but I got military retraining coming up as my unit is switched overr from arty to infantry. Had to rebuild most if not all the the batalions equipment for turn in. Still fixing equipment comming to and from Afganistan, Iraq, Turkey, and hurricain relief.

    Well do to issues with my real life and most of my time hogged up working on the real military equipment, and my addon making skills are far below the average for anyone on the mod. It would be best I drop out of the mod team due to I cannot hold my own anymore as a productive member on the moding team. And leave the slot open for somebody more capable to filling it...

    SJB Weapons Pack Released

    well putting a few more hours into solving the pack issues found it is another addon that causes a conflit with yours and breaks the addon. runing bone dry OFP v196 without any of my many mods runnng it plays, running ECP it works. I usualy run MWP which the SBJ TOS guys are in it and asume its a bin releated issue looking for the old addon, but other members of my clan don't have said issue. Not sure but I know I got em to work at least once fully.

    I played with the bikes a lot way back on moto GP stuff added the suspenssion scripts and redid the handling on them to the point even the AI could run em pretty well on the roads at very height speed usualy a couple of spots the AI back flip the bike cause they are wheelie addicts.

    Well already got speed boats BMX bikes and even snowboards and skateboards. I enjoy Dragracing on Nagova 2004 in mp games. Be nice if I got back into the Nascar and NHRA mods that were started on OFP.. I've butchered a number of the motoraces with bas addons into a number of maps making circuts. Nice in MP even more so in armed missions when you gun and drive taking out your opponents and randomly placed enemy elements
