Oh well its something that I brobably cant fix then. I also started working on iranian tank crews. I might include them in the next release even though theres no iranian tanks. You can always use existing vehicles like RHS T-55 and Sigmas T-72B as iranian vehicles. If/when I make them as iranian versions the crew might be handy.

With what units does the LOD broblem appear? I tested the basic soldiers and no LOD bugs in the legs.

More screens people! New woodland camo helmet for IRGC chaps. The backbag guys ingame. Also now present is the green "camo" version. These look somewhat militia like because the dress code in iranian army seems to be quite relaxed. You can always use these as Basij troops if the clothes bother you. Nationalist that info about the symbol is great! Thanks for the armor list also altough I pretty much had the iranian armor figured out. I wont be making the tanks or apc's anytime soon but when I do I will probably include the most common ones like T-72, T-55, M-60A1, EE-9 and some IFV's and APC's like BMP-1 and M113. Kikill is also working on IRIAF aircraft altough his planes has nothing to do with me or LoBo. They are really nice though and I hope he releases them soon. Oh btw Nationalist incase you didnt know theres a "edit" button so you can edit your old post and dont have to make new ones all the time. I dont mean to be complaining, its just a hint because the moderators dont like that too much.

Im working on a new version now that will have more variety to soldiers and the SF most brobably. Now that Im getting the hang of Oxygen after a day in Miles Teg's Oxygen academy Im ready to do some changes to the original models. @Sgt. Storm you are ofcourse free to use my iranians in your campaign. Some early screens taken in bulldozer Special Forces guy. He will have a different camo pattern. Regular soldier with a backbag. Yeah the flag textures are still there unfortunately. If somebody has a book or something with proper army badge I will be happy to apply it. Thats how its gona be until proper insignia is found. Also Calm Terror from the LoBo team fixed a few bugs, added HD versions to all of the weapons and did other stuff too so now you wont have to download the whole HK pack and Lost Brothers terrorist pack to play with these. I was actually just now testing with them and found a small sound bug on the MG-3. Easy to fix I bet. Also you can use these guys against US in modern conflict or against iraqis in a Iran-Iraq war scenario. The camos and weapons were pretty much the same.

Good news people! Calm Terror is back already! Those crazy Lost Brothers people was thinking about adding commandos too and I have to admit I liked the idea. So this has kinda became the joint project between me and Lobo team. This is going to delay things abit though.

Yes they are based on modern Iranian soldiers. About the delay, me and Miles Teg had a discussion and decided that its too much for people to download 2 different weapon packs for 3 weapons. Those weapons were G3 and MG-3 in the HK pack and the very nice folding stock AKM in the new LoBo terrorist pack. So we decided that those 3 weapons would be integrated into the iranian addon to save trouble for you people. This however is going to take some time as Calm Terror is the one who is making the cpp stuff and hes on a vacation. In about a week hes back and until then I will change the texture paths and so on. Miles also spotted a few bugs&inaccuracies wich are pretty much fixed now I think.

What I hate the most about OFP is the fact that the faster computer I have the shittier fps OFP has. When I got OFP I had 32mb GeForce 2MX, 256mb RAM, and 1ghz CPU. OFP ran smoothly even in big battles. Now I have 128mb GeForce FX5700 Ultra, 1024mb DDR RAM, AMD Athlon XP3200+. On average battles OFP barely keeps the fps at 25 and most of the time its under 20 and thats baaaad. Hopefully the XBox optimizing had some positive effects on OFP.

Ok broblem solved. Now I adjust their loadout and fix a little texture bug and they are ready to go! Since I cant model and didnt think of anything to differ the regular iranians from the regular iraqis I decided to use a VERY cheap trick and added iranian flags on their shoulders. Since I couldnt find the real iranian army shoulder badge thats all I can do.

No I dont think so... There is a separate file in the pbo called stringtable.csv that has all the display names. The config.cpp then refers to this stringtable.csv file. Edit: The HD versions are kinda there. The main weapon for iranians is the G3 in the HK pack. It does not have any HD versions. However the LoBo AK47 I use does have HD versions and all the soldiers armed with the AK47 are HD by default to simulate the poor quality of iranian AK47 clones and the skills of the average army/IRGC trooper.
