    Mf conquer the island

Great work. Only played a couple of brief offline sessions but already I see the potential. A whole lot of fun crammed into 380k, updates are awaited with baited breath...

    General about 1.85 patch

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (advocatexxx @ Oct. 16 2002,01:29)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">...though I will suggest (yet again) that they give us an option in Veteran mode to disable helicopters following terrain in height. Â Ever tried landing a Black Hawk on the summit of that volcano mountain on Kolgujev ? Â You'll understand why it would not only be more realistic to let us disable choppers following terrain height but also a lot less of a headache.<span id='postcolor'> If I could choose just one change to be included it would be this without a doubt as accurate manouvers above steep terrain can be difficult. Personally I'd prefer it as a check box in the control options rather than veteran only but it's the idea that's important. I generally have the most fun in OFP as a chopper pilot inserting or extracting troops "against the odds", whether it's at a contested or just plain tricky LZ. Disabling the terrain following would allow a more realistic and enjoyable approach to the latter. Please consider this for a future patch BIS and many thanks for all the great work so far.
  4. I'm in the process of producing my first attempt at a "proper" mission. Baby steps and all that but I'm getting there. It's a simple assassination mission so obviously at one point I have a unit with a player's destroy waypoint on him and he's grouped with a trigger to switch the objstatus. Now, the mission proceeds swimingly until the hit itself. As you approach the target the yellow target "Destroy" marker is clearly a good 60-70m away from the target. Eliminate him and the objective completes fine but you remain stuck with a destroy waypoint that is centred on empty air and can't be completed, preventing the next waypoint from showing. As I said, this is a learning process so I'm sure I missed somthing basic. If someone would be kind enough to point this basic thing out I'd be eternally grateful. Many thanks Edit: Strangest thing... I'm sure the only change I made was to the time of day ( ! ) but the problem has changed somewhat. The destroy marker now centres on the target and changes when he's dead. However, the next waypoint marker (a get-in, half a k away) remains centred on the dead target...any ideas?

    Mehanic is quitting

Why the unpleasent sentiment Antichrist? Even if you didn't use his work, surely you should appreciate his motivation for producing it? I wonder how many quality addons we'd recieve if everyone's efforts were treated with such distain... Good luck in whatever you turn to next, Mechanic and many thanks for your top quality cars. My \AddOns will be a poorer place for lack of your .pbos. Looks like you have a legacy to continue denoir...
