I'm certainly not accepting it but I can say it will always be around. But it MAY go, and I hope it does but I doubt it would be in my lifetime (17 yr old)

I don't think racism will be eradicated........ever. Asians rioting in France = oppressed peoples White rioting in Australia = racist riots Yer but this immigration happened at different times in the past. The Angles came to Britain and settled here and now the country is named after them (England).......same with France (the Franks). I got ambushed by 3 black people a week ago. Lucky I got away, next time I'll have a weapon. The lifeguards are all volunteers out there and are almost an institution like the scouts - One of them was blinded by the lebo thugs shoving the end of an umbrella in his eye - Retaliation was inevitable. Its another wake up call to the lilly-livered liberals out there that we do not live in a PC world in reality. The undercurrents of race hate are boiling in all countries from Australia to America and it takes little to kick it off. Hopefully if lessons can be learned, it is that attempts to intigrate lebos and ausies is just not a worker so don't do.

According to Trevor, its more to do with the fact that the fire is so hot at the mo, making the clouds rise so high; apparently, as the fire gets fought more (and thus the vapours get colder) the cloud will end up "falling" onto houses etc. Whoever made the joke about the cloud going towards France - erm, some of us live in the South East mate, it ain't funny if you cant take a little humour in the situation, then im sorry, but thats not my problem. I live in the south too and have experienced the effects of the smoke too - but you dont see me getting distressed about it. My 'joke' was more of a 'the one good thing to come out of it' line - like i said, anglo/french rivalry is always a point of laughter A good way to relieve the situation or make some good come out of it, is a joke about it. The problem is most of the time you get called un-sensitive or a racist

Although I never knew him, I would like to pay my deeped condolences and respects to him. From what I have off here and the 1-8th Marine forums, he sounded like a sound bloke and would of been an honour to of know him. RIP Andy

My views exactly and im quite sure that 99.9 percent of the world feel the same.  I have spoke to many educated Americans on my travels around the world and their opinion was utter disbelieve and blamed it on either the uneducated or the fanatical christian side of America.  Its quite a scarey thing to put everything in perpective now and realise that anything can happen with Bush waging war on anyone that does something that he doesnt like (even tho he is probs doing it himself)  Politics are a sham in every country now and maybe its time we as a society find another system that actually works. Maybe a system that actually listens to the people, as we are the ones that work hard (giving our time, blood, sweat and  life) and pay into the state for it to work for us.  Peace out Jtec (hippy ) Absolute Monarchy

We are talking about an animal, right? Animals don't have the same basic rights humans have. Â Animals aren't even equal to man. Â They are here on earth to serve man. Â To imply they are equal to man and as a result have the same rights as man is wrong. -Pilot Animals were here before man. Therfore, technically they should own it. But I don't think animals think like that. They just want to survive, not cause more problems like man has.

1: I've got a tree in my back garden 2: Should we legalise murder because we are going to die anyway? Even if there was a 1% chance of the bird surviving the winter, then it should be given the chance.
-
Did the dutch guys eat the bird? I bet not. Why didn't think keep the windows closed (because wind can happen too)? If it was too hot, don't the dutch have air conditioning?

Dam, good comeback *goes off to get an excuse*

1: I think you missed my smiley, yes? 2: I'm not in the military. 3: I take offence to your last 6 words as my brother is/was 'the stupid grunt'. 4: If Argentina was to invade the falklands again, we would lose without foriegn help. 5: The Eurofighter was a joint venture between 4 nations to curb costs. 6: The firemen are complaiging of being put in danger on Å50,000 a year, yet a soldier starts on a mere Å12,000 7: Why curb military costs, when they are being used in more conflicts now then before and more widely spread over the world. 8: If no one ticks the 'Politicians wages' box, then who is going to be stupid enough to get a job that pays Å0, unless your currently on the street. We would get (slightly) worse politicians then we do now.

My ex-roommate had a bumper sticker with that exact wording  that he decided would look good on our refrigerator. God he was a moron. What I gathered from him was that an 'errorist' is one who commits errors (he wasn't the brightest guy but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this particular point). Bit different to the 'socialist worker' banners here in the UK. They have pictures of Bush saying 'number 1 terrorist'. Would they say that if they had a relative who was killed in New York, London, Bali etc?

Well thats me then. Anyway worse idea yet

http://edition.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/europe/11/07/europe.fears.ap/ What you think about the bit in bold (not the title )? Is it a thing what usually happens in Brussels (like binge drinking in the UK)?
-
Tex is from Texas and therefore from the USA, and he HAS saw it. Anyway did you miss your 'T'? What is an 'errorist'? But pictures like that seem to make a joke out of a serious situation.

I heard there were muslims rioting in Arhus, Denmark for around a week furing the same time as the French ones, but not sure if it's stopped over there. I believe the French should send the army in and sort them out. It's just anarchy over there and the French authorities are too scared to shoot someone just incase the dead person's dad from Iran (who he hasn't seen for 30 years) wants to prosecute the police.

So I assume I am not the only one watching colbert report? Yer, some of his things are still on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. It's well funny, in the UK here so it's either watching late night/early morning CNN or watching it on the internet which is what I do. You watch the Daily Show?

George Bush didn't pick Harriet Miers so he shouldn't have any blame. If you recall the search commitee looking for a nominee was head by Harriet Miers. Miers picked Miers, and I think we all know how incompetant Miers is. And by with-drawing her own contoversial nomination, Miers demonstrated tremendous loyalty to the president, the kind of loyalty that Bush could reward with a supreme court nomination.

Activision did alright with R:TW but lost publishing rights to SEGA.

My girlfriend is also an avid gamer, so we'll split our time between them, as we now split our time between PC and PS2, although she has to spend most of her time on the PC as I'm addicted to PES5 on the PS2 She has OFP then? If so, then the jokes on you
