Uninstall ZoneAlarm if Alpha not starting
buggs replied to ckount's topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Nice one! I had the exact same problem. I've uninstalled zonealarm and now it works perfectly - Thank you! -
I decided to give one of my favourite islands a Resistance style overhaul. I've replace all the old textures and trees/forests for the resistance ones and i've changed some of the buildings (not all). Ive also added a bit more detail to certain areas ie. fences around military bases and more farms etc. However i need to contact the author to get permission to release it (its about 85% done). I've tried the email in the original readme but i haven't received a reply so i was wondering if anybody in the community had contact with SchuscH or if anyone has a alternate email address. Thanks, Buggs Â

Congratulations to everyone involved in the making of the mod. Playing this has brought back some great memories of playing the original OFP - Keep up the excellent work! Buggs :)

I have recently divided my hard drive into 4 sections (C,G,F,H) and I currently have OFP installed on my C drive.  what i would like to do is install flashpoint onto it's own drive (H). then move all my mods/addon folders over to the new installation and check to see every thing is running as it should before i uninstall the original installation, is this possible or will the two installations conflict with each other. Any advice appreciated                Buggs

I have the same problem. I'm also using Radeon HD 4870 512MB. Daytime looks fine, it's only when it's dark that I have these problems? I've tried different drivers and it makes no difference. I've also checked my Arma2OA.cfg and that's fine.

I didn't know Planck personally but he was kind enough help me out in the early days of OFP and for that I'm extremely grateful. My sincere condolences to his friends & family. -

Babel fish is crap. It probably actually said "Delivery 2nd to 11th December". According to Amazon.de the game is currently "in stock". I preordered mine from there too and I got the same delivery estimate. I expect it to arrive in the next few days - probably so will yours. I received the the same email on the 28th, However, I've just received an email to say I'm now being refunded?

Hi Trueman. Dowload WrpTool as mentioned above and there is a section in the WrpTool manual that deals with exporting elevation Data Via Wilbur to WrpTool. Good Luck! Buggs

@Shadow: Thanks for the Hud mod. I've been searching the various ghost recon sites hoping to find something like this. Those crosshairs were driving me nuts! Many thanks! Buggs

Without a doubt a faster processor and more ram will definitely improve OFP's performance. I went from 512 gig of ram to 1024 and had a increase in performance of up to 30%. I've since gone from 1024 to 1536 and I've had a increase of 25% in performance. Well worth it! Regards, Buggs

You might want to switch it to offline mode. This way you will not have to hook up to the internet to play etc

The shop i work for has lost quite a few sales of this game because some people don't have internet access. And at i've now spent about 40 minutes trying to register this game (two thirds complete so far!!), this is really poor....
