the advantage of a small model though is that an island maker could just put it in some small area of the map where no other buildings will be put. But as for the lag issue it would be as bad assumeing the persons view distance is set to a high amount, if it was set to a low amount than most people should be okay.

I found the AI would do some stupid things but other times it did more than flashpoint. They seem to interact with the environment better than flashpoint and will do things like enter empty vehicles and move behind cover. I found being stealthy is the best tactic. I will purchase this game, not to replace flashpoint but as a change of pace.

The only time you need a heli to be cammo'd is when it is on the ground, when airborne it wouldn't really matter what colour it is. Lets face it you are going to hear it comming or see it fly over you or at you for that matter.

well other than those 2 bugs the addon is great. Is there a way to tell the zombies using gblAllTargets for a side like west or guerilla instead of having to list each group you want targeted?

The only 2 bugs I have found so far is that the zombies don't have the damage textures applied so they look like normal people and the corpses disappear after they are killed. The later might be intensional but it is annoying because I love to have corpses everywhere.

Well most news stations have some sort of show about the media, I know here in Canada the CBC does have a few. Maybe this person at Ziff Davis needs copies of the petition too.

I never saw that thread so I'll take your word for it. Seems like we have over 700 replies. We should give it a few more days I think then have it submitted. Even though we are not supposed to chat about other forums I thought I would fill some of you in. Seems like the opinions at the CS forums are more mature than we thought, maybe we should never assume they are immature again. At Elecplay and the IGDA forums there is alot of useful discussion on the subject especially at IGDA since it is industry folks who are tackling such problems with the gaming industry as a whole.

That would be more interesting, they would have to be scenerios in which there is some balance. I'd still prefer the cold war though. But I'll wait and see, I just hope it is not a situation where we have to listen to Geo Bush speaches and fight under armed guerillas.

Excellent. This unit does have flaws, it was one of my first Oxy projects, previously I used a hex editor to do my retexturing. When I get the time I plan on making a version of the amazon packs that has proper LOD's and fixes some of the problems I had in texturing and with the pistol proxy.
