AlabasterSlim replied to Dwarden's topic in BOHEMIA INTERACTIVE: Web-Pages
For existing videos, would we have to re-edit and add this text into the video itself and re-upload, or can adding this to the description be sufficient? -

ARMA 2 OA: Post Process Settings Decoded
AlabasterSlim replied to maruk's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - TROUBLESHOOTING
See, I absolutely hate DOF in my games. I often times like to look around with my eyes without moving my head or my gun. It's a quick way to scan around without any input. DOF makes that difficult because in essence, my in-game avatar's eyes are always locked dead ahead. My own vision provides DOF, only the very centre of what you're looking at is in perfect focus. I don't need the game to provide that for me. Up Voted on the DH topic. -

Works perfectly for me in 1368x768. Aspect ratio is perfect and the UI scales properly.

Arma II Integration of valve's 'Steamworks'
AlabasterSlim replied to The_Captain's topic in ARMA 2 & OA - SUGGESTIONS
Digging up an older thread here, but I'd love to see ArmA II distributed on Steam. I'm not too happy with how Atari has handled ArmA 1, since they still haven't patched to 1.14 but at least we can manually apply the patch with ArmA. As for Steamworks integration, I couldn't care one way or the other to be honest, I'd just like to have it distributed on Steam. -
I'm glad I was able to install the patch to my Steam version. Atari needs to get their head out of their ass, although given the recent news on their financial well being, and some of their more current releases (Alone in The Dark), it looks like they might be on their way out.

Parade? Is that what I think it is?

Don't you lose focus of the screen if you're turning your head away?
