(Details later.) Teams: must be equal teams, but you can group clan members as best possible. TNFF: It's been a while since we have had any TNFF's. We generally don't need an organised night for co-op based missions. With the new PvP interest generated through the PvP/Coop style Warfare mission and the standard ArmA version 1.14 across the board, now would be a good time to try out the new PvP Devastation game-mode missions, intended for the more serious and skilled players out there. PvP: Hardly any PvP game-mode missions (without AI) have ever been created for ArmA and yet it's the primary game-mode of many games out there. Somehow killing hundreds of AI isn't as satisfying as outwitting a single human opponent with a calculated methodical manoeuvre. Overview: This Devastation PvP game-mode encourages teamwork and structured game play at a moderate pace with purposeful defense & attack locations plus limited and controlled resources (weapons, vehicles, assets, etc) to avoid spam tactics. It requires good teamwork, coordination and basic tactical planning through squad control. It has no AI to slow down the server. Missions: There are 15 missions to choose from and the large ones are the better ones for serious gaming, but we would probably have to settle for a medium sized mission initially to match player numbers. http://i111.photobucket.com/albums....MG] I would suggest the 'LvL' (land vs land) mission: Eponia (country side), but that could change before then plus based on player numbers. Players: For the medium 24v24 missions, you would need a minimum of about 20 players (10v10).     I think we are going wrong here: Clients shouldn't need to download anything to join a server, if they are running CA or CA;DBE1. Clients that are running lots of AddOns that are not compatible are the problem and they need to remove them before they join a server and crash it. Thats why we need a list of safe keys (AddOns) that server operators can allow on their servers.     As a server operater all i need is a list of safe keys with download links(telling me what the addons are) which i know i can trust like Doolittle, MadDogX as i have used their anti-cheat programs before, or BI as it their game.

    I like the sound of this as it would help in working out which KEYS to add to the servers, so players can play on cheat free servers that are best we can do, without the headaches of servers crashing.

    No But i'm working though the signed addons only, so far i have allowed only these addons on to GamingSA.com PvP. so far the list is: ArmA Effects mod by Maddmatt Extended Eventhandlers by Solus & Killswitch AACFSounds v2.3

    Its the player addons causing the problems. like i said in another thread to you, play on servers that run BattlEye and signature check. Our GamingSA.com PvP Only server has not crashed since i stopped people using addons(which was last Saturday). As we test more addons we will add their keys to our server.

    I haven't had any server crashes from 0.000: NetLogger: start - Sat May 24 09:45:51 2008 The last Mission that was played: mission="Warfare v1.0M"; i have noticed that the arma_server.exe keeps using the CPU about 2-3% after Warfare has been played and the server is empty. I have tested: ArmA Effects mod by Maddmatt Extended Eventhandlers by Solus & Killswitch and they are O.K. but today this player joined a empty server with these addons and the server crashed:

    well i have had no crashes yet. But when we removed Warfare missions from the warfare.pbo the test server cashes as soon as you join it. anyone got any ideas on how to remove the Warfare missions? Warefare + client mods = server crashes. thats what it looks like so far with our testing.

    it has been running 18+ for the last couple of hours now. last nite it was full for hours on the 16 player mode. jump on now as it has 21 players in it. see if we can crash it.

    Both servers running: Extended_Eventhandlers.pbo Extended_Eventhandlers.pbo.SLX_XEH2.bisign plants.pbo trees_fixed.pbo.bk Server GamingSA.com No Warfare but mods allowed still running. Server GamingSA.com PvP Only Running Warfare but no mods allowed still running.

    I banned all mods from our PvP server and Warfare played for hours, no crashes for 24 hours. On our other server allowed mods but no warfare was played and it hasn't crashed for 24 hours. Looks like Warfare doesn't like mods. To remove Warfare from the server do i delite warfare.pbo and warfare.pbo.bi.bisign from the addons folder? is that it?
