Damn Good job Scud. Looks superb inside and out (I'm specialy fond of the dash and controlls ). And the AI on my system loves this little plane  which is sayin alot cause almost no planes except the BIS work well with AI for me Fab Fab job man!!

Ok I dont per say have a prob with loading textures. But! I am working with a mod group and when I try and load certain textures from the bunker pack I get that damn error: texture name too long. I can fix it by changing the name and shortening it but I want to use the textures allready there and not have to duplicate then with another name. Cause if I have to keep doing that the file will be full of double textures why me and not anyone else? I looked in the options menu but could find nothing relevent (at least I think) to texture name length. Any ideas?

Its ready if ya wanna try it out. Its just the first version. So You might find some bugs. but I won't point out the ones I know about as you may not find them. get it here and got to the download page and find it under objects. Hope people like it.

I was wonderin about that myself. Cause in the destroyed version I want it to be topled over with theroof and wall sand bags spilled all over the place. Abso f'n lutely thats the ticket all right. Now once I learn how t realy make add ons ill do it.

Well like it said in the read me it's got a generic cpp. I don't know how to write them. I just wrote in my stuff over the one thats in it. If someone wants to write one for it. That'd be great. I think it should have the ability to rearm (for purposes of m2) and be targeted by AI RPG. once I get a destroyed version I'll need help again witt the cpp to do the destroyed model swap. And that Ip 83 thing makes more sense since the explaination.

I'ts up for DL here OFPNAM News just go to the download page and you'll find it under objects! have fun Yeah I figured it was more for work ease than realism. Shit the walls on that tower were nots. I mean each one has about 5-600 vertices in it. I don't think yours needs but minor changes. Like in the inside texture theres verticle boards and I think I'll add some actual ones and then re texture over them with the same texture other than that ?? I think it's OK. I mean you want different building styels as no 2 bunkers were alike. And I know Drow appreciates your donation. Cause I do and I'm just an FNG ;)

I dunno about Dictatorship or relaxed but in MO it should boil down to this. What ever that team member is doing the "leader" should talk with the member find out what they want to do. Interject with what they think should happen and then set a goal! no time constraints no expectations. Maybe set some time frame but whetever, Tackle one thing at a time. If said member does not put out at least alittle bit. inform them politely that thier skills are not needed unless they can show some progress. or earmark them as speculitive and focus on the work at hand. I think that disorganization is a big shortcomming in alot of mods. People tackling all sorts of stuff at once and nothing whole coming together. but again thats just my take. And I just joined my first mod so what the hell do I know anyway?

I dont know about the BIS sand bags. maybe un-pboing the BIS data file and replacing the sandbag texture there with one of these named the same?? but thats kinda a big to do. I'm gonna do a quick fix to the goem lod and release it in about an hour or so. I'm gonna try and upload it on OFPNAMnews I don't know how long it will take to hit there DL section though.

thanks MLF! I do have a question for any Island makers though. If you can make a highpoint like a mountain. Why cant you make square deprssions around base camps? It would be real simple and look more realistic to do a small short bunker to be fitted over the top of it. that way you could cammo it better and the thing would only stick up about a meter. Just a thought.

I thought about lowering the top but the picture dosen't do it justice as I have the pos hight of that m2 set in the init field and the feet are in the floor so it looks lower to the sandbags. but I might raise the walls. maybee. as for the wood interior your right about them doing that but I dont think I will. I have an idea of something for the inside but I'll save that for the compleate model Nah I was just commenting on the nice moddeling  I want the sand bags grunjy.

How could it not be better? You know they are tweaking the game engine and lots of other stuff. And if a bunch of people who don't get paid for it have been able to crank up the origional with all the addons and stuff like the COC engine/arty, ECP and all the other stuff. How could you then not have faith in the people who made the game in the first place? NOT TO MENTION, those who are getting paidfor it!!?? Riddle me that batman?

how about some OD fatiges mixed in as I had a few friends in around then stationed at Schofield in HI that still wore them and were still usuing a1's The M88 for sure as they still use them today. And why hasent anyone made a duce and a half ? hell we still had em when I was in. Great vehicle. how about the SEE truck? -
Yeah but For my beta release I won't do that plus most of the time i think those towers were ocupied by snipers. Aswell that leaves the mission maker wide open with options.but I like the idea of keeping the m2 in there. but I think ol ma duce needes a face lift. or not? and boy those sandbags are nice

I think more than anything it has to do with time and effort for no money. I mean just look how long it's taken BAS to realease new stuff. People move on get busy, go to school get married etc. So I think that alot of these mods once they loose people just have to close. On the other hand it would be nice if the mods that struggle would come to the BI forums and other such places and ask for help from the community they might actualy get to compleation. and if not turn over what they have to someone else. Thats just my take though. Plus I wonder what the life expectancy of this community will be with the release of the much anticipated ofp2? Maybe BI would think about putting up a pinned post or something calld SOS or something???

Someone needs to make a true quadrant sight mounted on the side of the M16A2's cary handle like in real life. Cause I tell ya when I qualified with the 203 that stupid sight on top is a POS and the only good one to use is the quadrant. I saw a pic somewhere, where someone had one but don't know if it worked or was just eye candy for first person?

Ok yawl you suggest I listen! check this bitch out now I have been workin with Sgt Stryker on these sandbags. I take no credit in the texture its all him. lol there the roof texture came from him aswell but I got it as a BMP and converted it to gif so it needs redone. but there you go tell me what you think!!
