  1. The sound will be taken care of by the Soundcard ofcourse wink_o.gif .

It seems the CPU is being neglected here. With all the advances in its speed why is there all of this debate on reducing processing weight from the CPU when it could handle it.

  2. Yeah the argentinians were milking the slightest of touches for all their worth and more crazy_o.gif .

Really hate to see this kind of behaviour. With all the Fair Play crap Fifa throws around you'd expect them to play 'a bit' fair icon_rolleyes.gif .

I say Fifa should fine the players who do this after the match HEAVILY , that should curb this malpractise.

  3. Sweden will now need wins against Paraguay and England which suffice to say will be harder opponents then Trinidad & Tobago ... thats why Swedes arent happy with a draw here. Have to say it was one of those ultra frustrating matches , they were practically playing the whole match inside T & T's half yet just couldnt get any proper finishing touches required to get that elusive goal.

Btw England also havent won against T & T for a longtime or so the commentator said , wonder how the match against them will pan out. 0 - 0 again? Espectro wanna bet tounge2.gif

  4. English, German fans separated by helmeted police
Quote[/b] ]FRANKFURT (Reuters) -- Thousands of England fans took over a central Frankfurt square on Friday and helmeted police moved in to keep them away from German supporters as the two sides began to taunt each other.

Though boisterous, the mood had been good-natured as fans played football in the sunshine. But the atmosphere changed when hundreds of German fans arrived after watching their team beat Costa Rica 4-2 in a match shown on a giant screen floating on the nearby River Main.

England fans chanted "10 German bombers" and other songs referring to World War Two while German supporters waved their national flags.

This is quite disturbing. I thought this time they were selling tickets by profiling hooligans beforehand or something akin to that.

    What's disturbing about it?

It wasn't a stand-off between the fans and was unlikely to cause any trouble. The police were just making sure nothing happened, not reacting to what was happening.

The rest of the article is about how good the atmosphere over there is. I heard that in all there were about 30 arrests between English and German fans that resulted in fines last night. Dare say that has more to do with alcohol than sim[ply football hooliganism.

Whats disturbing is that this shouldnt have happened in the first place. I mean this is before we've even had any matches , this was the fans in pre-match mood. Wonder what it'll be like after the matches and a few controversial decisions.

The England - Paraguay match was a bore. If the own goal didnt happen the match could have ended a draw. Moment of the match for me was Robinson hitting the stadiums score screen in the middle of the pitch topside  biggrin_o.gif .

I really dont understand why people feel the need to taunt others especially when your being hosted by that nation. Its stupid not to mention rude and it becomes stereotypical and racial when you bring in things NOT related to football like WW2. People who engage in such behaviour should be deported asap. Its a game , why dont people treat it as such.

  6. Something i found interesting about that site.

    About Camera

Quote[/b] ]The scope of the problem

Inaccurate and distorted accounts of events in Israel and the Middle East are to be found everywhere from college radio stations to network television, from community newspapers to national magazines, and, of course, on the Internet. In recent years misinformation about the Middle East has also surfaced in fashion magazines, architectural publications, encyclopedias, professional reference works, geography textbooks, travel guides, and even dictionaries. Frequently inaccurate and skewed characterizations of Israel and of events in the Middle East may fuel anti-Israel and anti-Jewish prejudice.

Quote[/b] ]A non-partisan organization, CAMERA takes no position with regard to American or Israeli political issues or with regard to ultimate solutions to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

Funny it seems only Israel is ever smeared with rumours and distorted news coverage , while the other side doesnt?

  7. Thats a bit bad tast isn't it?!  I'm already attached to the guy, and want to know more of his life.  THink of his poor mother.  Or the mothers of real, roadside bombed, soldiers that are sure to be keeping upto date with ArmedAssault progress.  And what about Frank eh?  I suppose they killed him off too.  Poor Frank.  Poor, poor Frank. rant.gif

...Hey ho, on we go.  Just another nail in the Northers coffin!  I hate those bloody Northerners!  Death to the North!   pistols.gif

He isnt the only one with a mother or a family you know.

And why would mothers of 'real' roadside bombed soldiers be keeping upto date with a fictious blog for a sim-game crazy_o.gif .

  8. South korea had their moments last time this time i believe we can have some of those too ... hopefully  smile_o.gif .

South Korea sold it's soul (and most probably something else) for having their moments last time (the whole Italy and Spain population can confirm).

    Klavan

    You got proof?

Are you saying that Italy and Spain took bribes and lost or what?

    I am lost confused_o.gif .

  9. Go Saudi Arabia ... nener.gif .

Oh well this time atleast we'll go past the Group Stages , and once those are done who knows what might happen. South korea had their moments last time this time i believe we can have some of those too ... hopefully smile_o.gif .

  10. wherever it stands the water gets rough. They must be tied down pretty hard.

Yeah... really rough water in the Hudson river... icon_rolleyes.gif

I didnt know it was tied to in a river. I was thinking more of a protected harbour or bay. And when the sea gets rough things around the edges no matter how well protected get shaken.

But if its really inland in a river then its probably safe.

  11. Nice. Never could have guessed it was a museum biggrin_o.gif .

Still amazing how they got all those big aircrafts on the deck. Crane ? but they are still so close to each other they might clip each other if the winds gets high or wherever it stands the water gets rough. They must be tied down pretty hard.

  12. That Ghillie suit is uber sexy. We will need that in ArmA biggrin_o.gif .

But i agree people need to chill and play the game for a few months first , leave the mods alone. FIrst we need to extract all the fun out of vanilla ArmA drop by drop before moving on to the mods , that way its more satisfying wink_o.gif .

  13. Where did he nearly threaten BIS to death? crazy_o.gif

The guy is only voicing out against the Gamespots article which is moaning about a save feature and how it was somehow very 'frustrating' for people ... it never was for me and besides there was a cheat for it out there not long after ... oh wait he never hung around long enough to know that icon_rolleyes.gif .
