This already exists to some extent with the Addons At Ease standard. Which, sadly, the addon community has in general failed to adopt. I think he meant that addons from the community be made OFFICIAL i.e acknowledged by the devs and put up in their patches as part of the 'game' and not free stuff anymore. This could bring complications if the mod makers demand money for this. I do see how this could elevate OFP2's chances as a best selling game but it has several draw backs too.

You should have seen in LIVE on tv , the way the guy spoke with such clarity and the strong tone that he had. I dont know if hes guilty of the things they say he is but he doesnt seems to acting like someone whos done something wrong , usually guilt is written all over peoples faces they stutter and all but this guy was wowee. Compare it to when Bush speaks and you got a complete opposite , even Blair. What i also didnt understand was in the end why was the senate guy getting all too personal , this wasnt the Jerry springer show the questions they asked him like do you consider this bad? Wtf ... what does it matter if he thinks its bad or not a guys leaning to ones side or the other doesnt changes ground facts of what he did or didnt do. And as expected only the dem part of the US senate found out about the US companies involvement in this fiasco as well and not reps and once again an 'investigation' is under way which no will hear about after this ....

Ok who else saw the Galloway debate and thinks the US senate is getting too cocky here. OF all the entitys in the world who the HELL are they to be moralizing someone on a somewhat petty charge compared to all their lies and blunders and CRIMES committed right under their noses and to some extent approved by them .

Current OFP craps over BF2 aswell in certain aspects except the obvious graphics part but then OFP is 4 yrs old to it . I for one think BIS would not disapoint us they have been keeping an eye on the community for long they know what they have done and will make OFP2 something that surpasses that. These screens for all we know maybe old from alpha stages of OFP2 ,we'll know for sure at E2 anyhow .

For OFP2 i dont need to play its a sequel to a game which already has a lot of strength in , i expect it to expand upon it thats it unless BIS cant manage such a simple task if thats what your assuming ... Anything in OFP2 apart from all the stuff we have in OFP already will be considered extra by me and will be gladly accepted. We already know OFP its strengths/weaknesses so do probably IS they havent been on crack or something to not know. I expect improvement and logic says thats what we will see unless theres a complete 180 and BISsuddenly become some crappy developer with no knowledge of anything. GR3's pics speak for themselves , the attention that game is getting and the way it is , many will agree its hyped up piece of crap. GR series have a tradition of their own specific gameplay which is very linear and not comparable to OFPs level of freedom and modability. "Image size adjustment" .... Ralphwiggum can explain that better .

For the ones with no whereon TV to look up to try this: GAMESPOT'S NONSTOP, FULL-BLAST VIDEO COVERAGE Will begin in a little over 18 hours. Though hoping for OFP's live show is hopeless i guess , though i hope that once OFP2 trailer is shown they put it on air like of those other games they are showing right now.

I dont know if in the light of current events and pics some of us were so excited we forgot one important thing , OFP2 just sh@t on every other warfare game that could compete with it , even graphic wise., the rest of the stuff ofcourse is an added punch like gameplay,large maps,modability and loads more.

First of all why is everyone thinking of 3 days news release as 3 separate news? They could all be nothing more then continuation of one another. One thing is for sure they;ll show XBox OFP1 and the hopefully a video/screens for OFP2 and features thats it , why would anyone wanna waste their time in making a OFP2 for Xbox when they are making something inferior as OFP1 for it? It'll be like striking a hammer blow on your own toes. There should be no OFP2 for XbOx it would be a waste imo of resources on the BIS team and useless, keep it for later first check what the public thinks of OFP1 on console games like these are gamble in an arcadish console market. And why is everyone mixing VTV's channels with Xbox stuff? That site says its for OFP2 only for PC nowhere do i see a Xbox sign there. All those channels are for OFP2 thats it , everyone is fretting so much and has made their own versions of one game 3 times over .

Now that we've heard OFP2 as well , what do you guys make of the timeline of the story here? Vietnam ? I guess it must be after all theres a AAV then marines plus a heuy what more is left? But theres that T-80/90 which brings this down .
