Do you mean I can modify that file with a word processor and use it directly after instead of the BIS config.bin? If so, can you give me just an overview of what to do let's say to replace the BIS SoldierWB class with a HYK soldier class so all OFP standard missions can be played with the HYK soldiers without manipulating the SQM file? Hi, I use snypir's script all the time. Never had any trouble with it. There are 2 things to remember: - The script should be called at a MOVE wp - The driver (pilot) behaviour should be set to CARELESS Otherwise the chopper's behaviour is unpredictable. The version that I use is 1.6 and comes with another script called stop.sqs Cheers

The only way to scroll anything on the screen is to create your text as a picture (jpeg/paa) and to declare it as multiple controls with a slightly different position for each. Then you use showControl true/false to display the picture at different positions giving the illusion of scrolling. CSLA2 credits is a good example of it. Cheers

Hi, Let's say your group name is group1. Add this line to the group leader init field: {_x addEventHandler ["fired", {{_x removeAllEventHandlers "fired"} forEach units group1;playSound "alarm"}]} forEach units group1 Just replace the section playSound "alarm" with the sound you want. The sound will be played as soon as a unit of group1 fire a shot. Cheers -

Hi, Reading your post just made me think about something: - from the official comref... wapoint setWPPos position Operand types: wapoint: Array position: Array Type of returned value: Nothing Compatibility: Version 1.21 required. Description: Set waypoint position. Waypoint is in format Waypoint . Position is in format Position2D . Example: [groupOne, 1] setWPPos getMarkerPos "MarkerOne" Maybe just move the WP where the unit is. Logically it should activate it since the units IS in the WP range. I think it's worth a try. Hi, try putting this line in the condition edit box: "_x in thislist" count units <group> == count units <group> Just replace <group> by the group name. The trigger will activate only if ALL the units in the group are inside. From there I guess you can do what you want. Cheers

Just delete the BAS_repairh.pbo file. This is what I did and never had the problem again. This file also insert a reference in any mission file you save when it's present in the addons list. It's more trouble than anything else. For the ASH files, if you have KEGS nogojev island, you should also remove them. If I remember correctly they were suppose to work with the Winter Kolgujev island and can conflict with the new island (nogojev). Hope that helps Cheers

Great job. It definitely add new ambiance to the gameplay. In the very short time that I had to try it the only remark that I can make is that you badly need a dialog system to manage the commands. Having to open the map everytime I want to give an order is terrible. The other option would be to find a way to keep the radio menu (not the map one) open when you reach a submenu. At the moment, if you're trying to issue a command in a submenu, you have to open the radio menu twice. keep on the good work more feedback to come... Cheers

I do believe in team work and I think this is a great idea. I dont do MP missions so I cant help in that department. If you guys decide to do SP to and are serious about it I'll be glad to contribute. And by the way, I dont give a dam who takes credit for the mission. This is not why I'm making them. Cheers

You CAN play them the same way that you can play a WAV file if you want. The main 2 reasons that we dont use them are: 1- I never saw a WSS player so I have to use OFP everytime I want to know what the file is about (very bad) 2- The size. OGG files are much smaller. But to access the internal OFP sound the only things you need are the name and the path of the file. Then, you just describe them in your description.ext file as any other one: For example Adam voice saying "CONTACT": class CfgRadio {    sounds[] = {contact};    class contact    {        name = "";        sound[] = {"bis\adam\contact.wss", db-5, 1.0};        title = $STRM_contact;    }; }; Your idea is a very good one but there may be much work than you think to cover all the possiblities.
