    Richard Burns Rally

dn... however I believe (dont kick me now) xpand ralley is a good game as well. In general not as tough as RBR but the feel of the different surfaces is more intense. Both are good games (xpand slightly better graphics), no doubt.

    German movie "Der Untergang"

yes.. sure it was a good movie. However I think the protagonist (the secretary) was too beautiful. If they would have turned her into an average girl (which she was) the film would have been even more realistic. Her beauty was sometimes distracting. But you know, that is minor criticism.

    Somebody please suggest

Sometimes you need a rest from OFP and after a few months you fall in love with it again. Dont try to find a game that is simillar to OFP, I tried FarCry, Doom3, battelfield (whatever), Call of duty and others in the meantime. They are good games for sure, but that does not keep you entertained for long. Try to jump out of this genre instead. Go for Panzers Go for Mafia (old but still awesome graphics) Or others... They will clean your head from OFP..

    German Elections

prejudice? how rude! I ve been to many of those cities and not just peeking out of the train (or car). My point was that maybe the inner part of those cities have been renovated but you can still see the difference in income. Both of you can denie this but unfortunately there is a statistical fact to it.

    German movie "Der Untergang"

Now you are exaggerating (or just stating your own opinion  ). I agree it is a good movie indeed but the best ever made?  Did you watch it during the weekend?

    German Elections

A state can not create jobs. A state can prepare the environment for companies That's what I meant, thank you. BTW I've been in the East the last few days and think that the money the west is pumping into the east was wort it! The cities look much better than they did a few years ago. Too bad I couldn't stay there till today to see how many protesters there really are on the streets. Have you been to Halle or Franfurt / Oder ? Sure there are cities that have become beautiful (like Rostock for example) but most of the money was used to renovate the inner part of the old cities and to subsidise semi-dead companies. The schools in the East still look shit! And I mean it!

    The Iraq thread 4

You cant "fix" all things! Iraq is and will remain a pretty volatile country for the upcoming decade. That is why the EU insisted that "no action" is currenty better than "any action". Â Or do you believe that Saddam Hussein was so brutal uniquely for the fun of it? You need to keep the people constantly at fear to hold a nation together that doesnt belong together. Lets face it, before the war began Bush probably thought shiite" is an insult with a spelling mistake. What can be done to "fix" it? Well, we dont know and we dont have to know it since we didnt cause that trouble in the first place. That was a president who thinks that a military can solve everything and that all people of the world love US soldiers like they love Mickey Mouse. And as long as the insults and the "we were right" of the republicans continue noone will want to give a helping advise. Only our sympathy for the soldiers prevent us from wishing the president to miserably fail in Iraq. And having watched the images of a wounded child on TV this morning made me furious once again ... in the future I need to watch my fists when I hear the words "...but we liberated the iraqi people". The republican voters should become aware of the fact that they have more blood on their hands than they believe. So the insult "you euros would have done nothing!" is in so far correct as we believe time and serious approaches will bring opportunities and not a military strike. And for Israel, a volatile Iraq is just as dangerous as a Saddam funding terorist families.

    Shooting clubs (espec. in germany)

I am neither in the army nor can I profit from lax gun laws. But still I would like to enjoy some shooting lessons just for fun during my days off. Is anyone of you active in a shooting club (possibly in europe). How does it work. How much does it cost. And what are the rules?

    Anybody pick up Battlefront yet?

I like starwars... but... a battle with less than 3000 players just doesnt create the right athmosphere. a battlefield in the jungle with hundreds of those a battle in the desert with lots of tribes of these and on the snow planet... there must be at least 2 full brigades on each side... otherwise the word .... "evil invasion" is just silly.

How many times do I have to repeat this? There is no white space, that's because the Internet Explorer is not able to render PNGs correctly. Just try Firefox or any other Browser of your choice --and the white spaces are gone... Why do I see white spots everywhere... is that realy necessary, Bastler? (Albert runs out hiding in the forest) Â (who the hell uses firefox?)

    The Iraq thread 4

Wtf does this means? Â Why cant you have a rational debate with an 'arab'? You have trouble talking to them you racist prick? Ace, I think you are being too sensitive once again. I think what he is trying to say is that Arabs dont trust noone except Arabs. There is a certain truth in that. IT IS A FACT that currently arab nations are the toughest ones to negotiate with ... too much pride. This is because part of their culture considers our western values as weak and uncivilised ... not realy the basis for equal talks. There are many poor nations and regions in the world. But anti-western terorism grew and prospered only in arab countries. There must be a reason for that. I can blame the US for many things, I can blame Israel for many things too... but that doesnt mean arab nations are innocent in every way.

    Us presidential election 2004

Okay, lets look at the pre-iraq war phase. In many political TV-shows Schroeder and Stoiber were asked whether they would move into Iraq if the UN would vote to support the US. Schroeder clearly said NO. Stoiber however emphasised that admiting to never supporting a war means to taking the pressure from Saddam. Wise and logical! The SPD wasnt just trying to stand for PEACE but for the party that dares to oppose America. And where has the strong cancelor and his criticism gone when it comes to Puttins way of wining a war? Na-ah! SPD firmly builds on Anti-american voters!
