asshxxole! I am never first with the news. But during a week full of work you cant expect me to post news at 2am!
-
thats what I said, yes! Â
-
Because you cant bring back 20.000 dead civillians! Those people dont like Saddam, but that doesnt mean they like US occupational forces more!
-
Holy sh...! Â The official georgebush.com site has been blocked for europeans, australians, africans and asians. due to security reasons Oh boy... these republicans are realy getting paranoid

I got a question. Do you think that shortly before the election Nader will ask his supporters to vote for Kerry? His chances of success are limited anyway.
-
Sure those votes count. But they cannot be considered as the average european opinion. Everyone who ever lived in Malta would agree with me.
-
How much was the "amount" in the country prior to the US invasion? How much went missing prior/after the US invasion? So far, all I've seen is gross incompetence in reporting facts. But it's more than journalistic incompetence. mahaybe! Buhut how come this theft wasnt reported untill now. I may assume the american intel was prior to the war "perfectly" informed of those compounds that contained weapon material? I assume that those US-soldiers that protected the ministry of oil would have been sufficient to guard this bunker-like house with explosives!

Pah, Malta is a tiny country with hardcore catholicism. In Malta it is still against the law to divorce and people do not trust anyone than the church. On the other hand I can assure you that Malta has a large percentage of homosexuals...(but also great girls ) it is a strange country with dusty rules but an open youth. Malta would support any italian politician because Italy is the only country capable to represent Maltese interests. That is due to the strong economical links between the 2 countries.
-
What study was that? How can the majority believe Homosexuality is a sin when most are actually atheists, protestants (like me), which do not believe in the ultimate existance of deadly sins. I am not an enemy of polls but pure logic tells me that is not true. Also, I may assume that about 50% of our population are female and hardly believe that the job of women is primarily to breed children. As for germany and France I can assure you his opinion is not representing the general opinion. And I would bet my car for that.

I hope so, otherwise he's nichta hin nichta hehr. you mean "weder dies noch das"! (neither this nor that)

As the Spiegel puts it EUROPE REMAINS LIBERAL, BASTA

Okay let me explain it. The guardian recently published a list with adresses of potential voters. British citizens could then ask for these details and call / write to them to push them to participate in the election.
-
The Guardian I dont know if anyone posted this before but... it is damn funny!

The only good old MP-shooter is Soldier of Fortune 2! And I tried them all!

realism in games jeopardizing natl security
Albert Schweitzer replied to BoweryBaker's topic in OFFTOPIC
There we are again. The same old american belief that the military and its weaponry is the guarantee for National security. Let me just remind the world. They used the silly WINDOWS FLIGHT SIMULATOR! And still hit you terribly with a tragic score of 19:3000. Â I would suggest you people stop worrying about shooters too much and learn how to play chess! Oh BTW: I think Bush must be a terrible chess player! -
Yes Yes! Kofi all the way. I would NOT support Clinton at all, even though I think he was one of the best US presidents of the recent years. To me the UN is an organisation that must respect the ideology of equal human rights for every global citizen. An attack committed by 19 terorists that killed 3000 americans should not be considered as a more tragic loss than 20.000 killed innocent iraqis in the attempt to withdraw one man. And to ensure this, we should choose someone from a thirdworld country, someone who knows that a lean poor half-dead somali child is just as valuable as a Mr. Warren Buffet or a Mrs Britney Spears. And watch out with your prejudice. These countries can easily provide sophisticated and competent leaders just like europe or the US.

We all watched "Blackhawk down and we regularily see the images of Iraq. Did you never ask yourself the question: "Why are they using such lightly armored vehicules to patrol areas with enemy presence?" Having the images in my head of german armoured vehicules, their speed, their strong armour as well as the multipurpose-capabilities, I seriously ask myself the question what the HMMWV has to do in a combat region. It doesnt take much to penetrate an amoured jeep, the resistance fighters have even adopted a strategy to simply drop a grenade into it. I dont want to claim that Blackhawk down was a realistic movie, but didnt you have the impression that if the convoy would have moved in with the armoured vehicules of the pakistanis right at the beginning, then human losses could have been prevented. AND, I dont tend to be the only one holding this opinion! Soldier of Fortune Magazine about the risk of using HMMWVs A more furious perspective on what these cars have to do in a warzone Some images of wounded soldiers (but acceptable content). A very deep discussion of the issue.
-
hoho smooth ladies. Follow Avons train of thought, cause she is leading you back on topic! It was about the use of HMMWVs for patrol missions. DONT RUIN MY THREAD grrrrr
-
We should discuss that issue in the middle East conflict thread only . Â
-
Let me rephrase it more diplomatically. I dont think palestine and Iraq are comparable. Not yet and hopefully not in the future. If the americans would patrol iraq like the israelis patrol palestinian districts then no iraqi would soon sympathise with the americans anymore.
-
Israels strategy is definetly not worth copying. Like that you will never turn Iraq into a democracy but create hate and poverty for decades!
-
Learn to help yourself! Look what I found on SFTT.org If someone has got a friend in Iraq right now, ask him to participate
-
I havent actually finished that game yet. The first few levels were very scary indeed. Hell was great, but after that plain simple boredom.

He's german, hence guilty by association. Thats what 60 years of finest german schooling have produced. Great, aint it. a nation and 4 generations of guilt ridden ppl...well done german gvt.... Nah I have the responsibility to prevent such a thing from happening again. Responsibility is not guilt.
