Don't believe everything you see in film, particularly Moore's propaganda masterpiece. Â But if you insist, kindly view another film Fahren-HYPE 9/11. wowowow wait! WHAT are you talking about? What about these facts isnt correct. FACT1: the Bin Laden family left the summit shortly after 9/11 Fact2: AT LEAST 100.000 civillians have been killed in Iraq FACT3: The Presentation in front of the UN was a full error. None of the facts were correct. So dont give me this "Fahrenheit" nonesense.

As long as you dont intent to leave the country!

There is always a reason to defend a president but I do not understand why all his actions are always approved by all republicans. This is not a rethorical question and I realy would like an answer from your side: Dont you see any errors in the war in iraq? Or do you say, well there were errors but considering the outcome I can oversee them. I still dont understand, still after hundred of pages discussing here with people, why a president who initially started a war for the wrong reasons is fully forgiven? The fact remains, Saddam had no WMD and no democracy has been established in iraq. Fact is that Bush is the reason for at least 100.000 civillian casualties (newest studies). Do you forgive things like this? Do you oversee them? Are those lifes of no importance? Is this the prize to pay for a country to one day get democracy? And why is democracy so important for Iraq and not for Saudi Arabia. And why was Iraq the playground of terorism if none of the terorists of 9/11 were iraqis? And dont you condemn the action to let the Bin Laden family escape? Do you only judge a war by the amount of american soldiers being killed? What about the promise to "smoke" Bin Laden out of his cave? Two years plus billions and billions of dollars have been wasted to catch those responsible for 9/11. Is it so difficult for the largest military in the world to catch just one man? With precision strikes maybe yes, but noone applied precision strikes on Afghanistan. I am so surprised you fully follow this man without any point of criticism. You tell me that Bush is a christian but in reality he is leading a real chrisitan jihad, at least that is how the muslim world perceives it? Do you realy believe that "terorism" can be beaten by killing terorists? Do you realy believe that is the root of the problem? Maybe one day you understand why the world gets angry when you cry for the fallen "heros" of 9/11, when you call it the greatest human desaster and you rise your american flag and declare that terorists have attacked a peaceful nation. Judging all humans in the same way I would rather expect you to cry one or the other tear for those 300.000 civillians that have died in your strike against terorism. But none, not even Kerry ever voiced concern about the misery your nation has caused, the only concern was about US soldiers. Just like in Vietnam I know noone in America will ever apologise for it, nor feel sorry. Sometimes it is realy a shame to live in a western world democracy.

If there's going to be any big terrorist attack in the US in the next term, Bush's position will be questionable at best. Can't imagine rallying behind him after that like they did after 9/11. No, the opposite would happen, that would only boost his popularity.
-
Okay... well ... at least we germans can now repeat "no german soldiers in iraq". With Kerry we would have been forced to rethink our decision. What are the brits gonna do? With Bush being reelected I doubt that Blair will remain in office for another period. The brits are gonna kick him!

Yes you can, go to (now need to translate it into english) go to extras and choose an option called rule-assistant (or maybe it is called traffic-assistant or so). there you should find an appropriate standard action.

Ah come on, your photo is quite decent and I mean it. But look at the image of "gamer". Maybe he is a nice guy but I surely wouldnt give him lift on a rainy autumn day in the middle of the night.
-
Okay... well I must admit there are quite some freaks in this photo gallery. If there wouldnt have been at least some ordinary looking people like gollum and others (gladly the ones from THIS forum) then I would have thought the collection is a "best-of-Alcatraz" Â

Oh okay.. ! Thats quite an argument! You convinced me!

I am not judging the progressiveness of the british people in general but of those that are generally anti-european. A large percentage of their slogans against europe do not build on economical arguments but on pure ignorance and nationalism. Scepticism is okay, Ranting isnt! It has been a hallmark of the Dutch! The brits just like the french, spaniards and portugese usually shipped most goods homewards. Imperialism?! nah! My friend this is the wrong approach to "exchange" and "interact"! If this is the argumentation of not participating in the EU, then fine. But generally it is not. Usually it is the old "I dont want to sit next to a german and a french all having equal rights!". It is the old anxiety of people having power over the UK. The anxiety of a political "hostile-takeover"

National pride. Makes Germans uncomfortable since world war to. Pride in the EU is the obvious and much more comfortable option for many Germans it seems but British people just dont esteem so highly pan european ideals. Germany is surrounded by europe whereas the UK is surrounded of the european 'project' . But then im one of th by the sea which leads everywhere. Its not surprising Brits and Germans have different outlooks. Just look at national interests throughout history, economics and the different focuses and styles of government. Its not possible to blame all on the Sun, or Mail, or Bild for that matter. I dont read any tabloid ,in fact i abhor them. Yet im still quite doubtful (whilst retaining some hope) about many aspectsose annoying people who tend to notice differences (and appreciate them) rather than similarities. The EU seems to tend in some areas toward unnecessary standardisation (eg more than exists between states of america) and i find this a valid and not unthoughtful criticism. I could also add that a lot seems artificial, remote, imposed from above, not of the people, and souless. But i still think the flags pretty cool. The difference is that the german view of europe is perceived as progressive by the world and the british anti-internationalism is considered as an useless old sentiment often personified by soccer hools abroad or cheap tourists with "England" jerseys. And dont give me this Bushism to call the british attitude patriotism. In reality it is the opposite, a british minority complex that sharing, exchanging and trading with other nations would make a brit loose his identity. Interaction is evil. It is this old comical perception that joining the EU means being "ruled" by the Krauts or the frogs. Lets admit it, 90% of all the anti-europeanism in the UK is builds on the most simplistic imagery of prejudice and national stereotyping. Maybe you havent noticed. Even though englands economy is doing well right now noone is looking up to you. The german model of gaining respect after 1945 didnt work for you, how come? Well being british means being anti-progressive. You are and will remain an outsider to all people that believe in a common marketplace called europe. Conservatism is not a value as far as politics are concerned, in your heads you need to go a long way to reach the 21st century. We know that the current stage of the european union is anything but perfect. So what? We are in the development phase. I think the UK is an important part of the european culture and essential to the economy BUT currently it is slowing down the process. As far as german patriotism is concerned... well I proudly call myself german but I definetly have NO sense of superiority, I dont believe god blesses only my country, and I dont believe that my culture will dissapear if I interact with others.

Did your girlfriend complain that you play too much? Â Â But I hope you stay around in the forums dont you? Anyhow GOTY is still available in the shops in Germany at Mediamarkt for around 20-30 Euro or so. I bought mine just five months ago. The message is, dont give it away, dont sell it and dont throw it. I a few years from now you gonna get sentimental and you will try to get the old OFP back. So I give you an advise. Put all the games into a box and ask an oncle to store it for you. In a few years from now you will be so happy about those souvenirs, and maybe they will even have a collectors value?

The election itself is not bad at all for them. The problem is the parents that often try to brainwash children with what they preach them. So yes, the best advise you can give them is "stop watching those ads, go and have fun with your friends instead, you wont miss anything.... and if your parents try to teach you about the election then treat it the way you behave when they talk about your homework: pretend you care"!

They vote for Bush because as my friends in the Army, Navy and Marines tell me, the only media source they have for information is Fox News, and only specific programs. Â For Radio, they only get Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity. Â The Pro-Bush propaganda machine is in full effect for our servicemen and women. Despite this, I heard a sizable percentage of the enlisted personnel population is Pro-Kerry. military polls show that actually around 46% of military personal support Bush vs 44% Kerry. (this includes also former military members). However it is clearly visible that military-friendly media are mostly favouring Bush. And they proclaim that the troops support TBA 4 to 1 (unscientific survey). I dont know what to believe.

Welcome abroad dear european fellows , hailho to a european constitution. Took us centuries of killing each other to finally learn that there are other ways to prosper. it is signed and sealed!

Which map is this? Is it self made? The reason why I am asking are those nice little slopes you see on the mud-track to the left. I always asked myself my the developers never created dirt roads the way they are, with slopes, holes and bumps. Everyone who played OFP in and out notices that this road looks damn realistic. I cant realy talk about the Benz cause I already knew it from BW-Mod and never had performance problems, but I am sure you did some wise modifications. -
They certainly dont like to get themselves killed. But I guess each voter has his own reasons to vote for Kerry/Bush. Maybe because Bush is rather expected to support military investments
-
Sure there are many americans here voting for bush. We even have a republican representative in Berlin. Dont forget that the majority of army personal votes for him!
