    Warhammer 40,000 DOW

read the first paragraph and ignore the second. It's simple as that. OH BTW the game itself has too limited single-player capabilities they say. Is it true that you can only play one race during the the SP campaign?

    Warhammer 40,000 DOW

the people in my school who played the tabletop version were all neirds and freaks. I liked the idea of painting them but playing it... well ... its a nice hobby just like building miniature train tracks at the age of 45. Oh BTW. Llauma, I have everything ordered for my DSL connection. Contract signed for weeks but the technicians dont show up. They say at the moment it could still take weeks till they show up. what can I do?

    Medal of Honour -Pacific-

I doubt it is the same... have a look at the screenshots. I think you are talking about MOH Rising sun? Nah not the same at all. The new Medal of Honour works with the Havok engine. Not comparable.

    Medal of Honour -Pacific-

First of all I would like to mention that the new Medal of Honour is pretty hardware demanding. I use a Radeon 9800 Pro and still need to run on Medium High settings. Furthermore the game is a typical MOH / Call of duty game. Lots of scripting, lots of awesome movie sequences and maps that are tunnels. But all in all a very good game and a good alternative to those that are kind of fed up with the Doom3, Half-life hype. The game puts you into the battle of Pearl Harbour (awesome), deep into the jungle (lots of vegetation) and into the huge battles of Guadalcanal. There is a bit of the movie "Pearl Harbour" in it, lots of "a thin red line" and some "Nam" feeling as well. The characters are well chosen and it is fun to play with these AI-team mates. There are realy awesome moments in this game... When you are wounded, lie on the ground and call for a medic...then the last thing you may see is a Japanese soldier, bending over you, shouting loud and taking his baionette and ... The battles in the jungle are pretty scripted but in contrast to former MOH/COD the AI works well. They retreat, they hide and they trie to overrun you... Â I think I know the taste of most OFP players and those of you who can forgive the scripting for the sake of movie athmosphere will like the game. And what is new in this game, the enemy always has a fair chance to kill you. Realism has been improved a lot (but dont forget, it is MOH). I would recommend it. It is good fun, even more the second time you play it. good screenshots http://www.tatakai.co.uk/images/screenshots/fullsize/mohpa17.jpg http://www.tatakai.co.uk/images/screenshots/fullsize/mohpa5.jpg http://www.tatakai.co.uk/images/screenshots/fullsize/mohpa4.jpg http://www.tatakai.co.uk/images/screenshots/fullsize/mohpa1.jpg http://my.so-net.net.tw/win_clan/MOHBase/news/images/901/mohpa_03b.jpg http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/pacific....big.jpg multiplayer map http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/pacific....big.jpg

    The Iraq thread 4

I think this slogan "What comes around goes around" is not not unfair but simply inapropriate. Why do we see so much islamic fundamentalism nowadays. Why is this religion getting more extreme? Well simple as that. We all know that the european age of enlightment has led to a lot of things.. mainly the seperation of state and religion, the social emancipation, and freedom of thought. Since then those countries that took part in it turned more and more atheist. I think the influence of the west on muslim nations is so extreme that the islam itself is now trying to protect itself from enlightment, from emancipation, and freedom of thought. Not because it opposes those ideas, but because they lead to its destruction. No age was ever as destructive to religion as the age of enlightment. Since then, the christian church has basically lost its power on us. The islam and its conservative profiters try to prevent just that. Bin Laden is not fighting the US for its foreign policies, but for its export power. The decadence of the US in breaking cultural rules and destroying cultural ecosystems for the sake of exanpanding its export markets is the only reason for 911. Would germany have had the same agressive strategy then the planes would now have flown into the Reichstag.

maybe you are just getting older? I like gamestar especially for their hardware tests. There I generally fully agree with them. The rest of the mag is... well entertaining enough if you sit on the toilet for a longer session. But still I buy it. Those few euros dont bother me.

They should have made one page with thousand tiny pictures of addons and mods. That would have given a tiny impression of what the OFP-world has turned into.

    The Iraq thread 4

Okay, but let me be the devils advocate once in a while. Me too I believe that we will soon have a very strong culture clash between the islam and the christian world. Wether you like it or not but Bin Laden remains convinced that islam is superior, not only over the US but any other christian state. And this is nothin special. What we have seen recently in Holland is a clear sign that the muslim community is trying to fight western values and push us back into the stone age. I know, sounds stupid racist and too stereotypical. Only a few extreme muslims were involved in Holland? No, you are wrong! Come to Berlin and have a look at a district called Neu-Köln. This is more than just a muslim gettho. Most arabs dont even talk german, some put islamic street names on top on of the german road signs so their families always find their way home. So far so good, seems the integration process has failed a little... but now comes the realy dangerous aspect. They neither respect the police nor the judges anymore since they have their own law and their own judges. They teach their children that what they learn at school is western lies and what counts is the Quaran lessons in the afternoon. Former liberal turkish families are being surpressed untill the women and daughters are properly covering their bodies again and marry the right man. The integration is not going ahead... it is going backward. These communities are getting more conservative and more fundamentalistic than muslims in germany have been in the past. There have been efforts after efforts to push the integration ahead. But nothing worked, they dont want it to work. The police in charge of this district are now saying they have absolutely no more control and what happened in Holland may happen in Berlin every day too, just far more bloody. Recently the muslim community wanted to organise a demonstration against fundamentalistic terorism, since they thought the german population expects that from them. Guess what? Most organisations refused to take part in it. The reason for their refusal are too surreal to be true. I can assure you that if the integration process is not forced upon muslims living in germany and other countries, then in 2 decades latest we will have real problems. Or as this decent gentlemen recently in germany preached to his muslim community: You have to prepare for the right moment and you have to be ready. We have to use and abuse democracy for our purposes and spread islamic schools and mosques all over europe. Sounds like a cheap headline from muslim-hating fox news? No, isnt. This was recorded by the police after 911 in a german mosque. As I said, dont underestimate the aspirations of the islam. There are true terorists in Iraq and there are freedom fighters. Dont turn the one group into demons and dont gorify the other.

but this is funny. We had a few discussions with one of the men from Gamestar concerning an article about "the most realistic war simulations". And we asked why OFP wasnt in there? We mentioned that even the graphics and much much more has been done by the community to push the game forward. And we told them about VBS1... bla bla bla

Saddam supported the families of the suicide bombers, Just like Saudi-Arabia, and all "friends" of usa in that region. Why isnt saudi-arabia attacked on the war on terror? Saudi Arabia isnt democratic too. didnt most of the terorists of 911 come from Saudi Arabia? War on teror, lets go and and Ace, if you then dare to take your gun to defend your country then you are a terorist too.

Especially if every man (e.g. in Faludjia) is considered a potential terorist and therefore an animal neither deserving mercy nor to be left alive This emotional stage shows that the war has already failed.

in my version it worked fine! Sorry mate! Â I managed to kill all enemies just from 8 to 10 metres away from this gate. It MUST be possible to cope with this level. You need rockets rockets rockets and more rockets..

    Best country in the world?

Well, why would it be nicer to live in Germany than in Congo? Econonomy, crime rates, public service, et cetera all contribute to making the peoples life standards better. Of course, only statistically - I am sure Ireland has alot of problems aswell. Then it's hard putting the finger on what is "good quality of life" but the scientists have done so, apparently. GooB, Ireland is depressing! Â Â I lived there for more than 15 months and I suffered only seeing sheep, pubs and farms. Of course a lot has changed since I lived there but it simply isnt the best country to live in if you wish to get through life without a depression and only sarcasm left. (whoever is irish here, trust me there was a reason why I went there and I loved it very much. For the people especially. And I never ate so well and felt so warmly welcome than at my irish guest family)

    Best country in the world?

Seriously, such a bullshit. Why should it be nicer to live in Ireland than to live in Italy....what is .. their... goddamn problem? Â Fucking scientists! Useless results see denoir, this happens if you feed the machines with too much stats!

Do you mean that valley with the strange satelite-structure Try the trick... before you enter the valley a gate will close behind you and block the way to ammo, health, and better cover. Simply push a chair or something else where the gate usually comes down. It will block the way and the gate wont be able to close.
