good monitors dont become cheap. A good  21' screen still costs 540 Euro. That is not much for a screen but still it is a significant amount! But from my own experience I can say that the colors are still better and the screen is nowadays basically flat. No need to go with the flatscreen fashion! Worth buying are basically only 2 right now that would be worth buying... the rest still is overpriced. Iiyama Vision Master Pro 513 = 540 Euro Samsung 1100DF = 470 €

very important now, dont get choleric as I usually do. I tend to break things in anger when they still can get fixed. Watch your hands, control your breathing and remember that agressions dont solve anything!

make sure no electrical device is lying directly next to your screen (e.g. printer). When I put my soundsystem next to my screen it starts to do strange things. Same with my mobile!

for me OFP doesnt run at 85Hz when I play in 1600x1200. Thats realy unfortunate. A few days ago I therefore decided to chose a slightly smaller resolution to be able to play at 85Hz. It realy is much healthier for your eyes. Why? Because I know that we play many of the nght mission with light turned off in our rooms. Playing that at 60Hz realy is a long-term-eye-killer!

Y2k3 is less stable compared to FFUR. I have many freezes with it. Still, I must say it is great great great work and my little criticism shouldnt lower the respect they deserve for all this work!

make sure the second line is correct as well!!!! my first line is: (note that I have created a copy of OFP just for the FFURF mod) "C:\Program Files\FFURF\Operation Flashpoint\FLASHPOINTRESISTANCE.EXE" -nosplash -nomap -mod=FlashFxUR my second line therefore is "C:\Program files\FFURF\operation Flashpoint" your mistake must be in this command line of this file. Fact is you simply dont load the MOD!

to start WWIII? Why should they want it? I dont think you need to go that far with your estimation. It sounds a bit exaggerated und illogical. You could take the current problem in Kirgistan as an example. Assuming that the ruling body of a province has been turned down by his people and is not too happy about that. He retreats into the military base camps in the woods outside the urban areas and his military commanders still continue to support him. He not only has atomic weapons to hold his own citizens hostage but also threatens the russians not to interact. The russians would launch an attack but they cant be sure to hit all important targets. Not distroying all might cause an atomic attack on moscow. The US however has satelite capabilities that go far beyond those of russia. The administration in washington knows the position of the most important targets since they have been moved in the last days. The Kirgisian dictator delocated them to hide them from the russians. But moving means leaving traces and satelites can find those traces. But there is one problem, the US doesnt want to show their satelite capabilities to russia so they propose to undertake the entire mission themselves. Russia agrees but only under one circumstance: no occupation of Kirgistan, only special operations! Und so weiter..

I have installed it successfully and run the corresponding exe but the game shows no modifications. Neither ingame, neither the editor nor the mask of OFP seems to have changed. Dont know why!
