It IS a goddamn torture. My retailer was Dell. My old PC already came ready participated and now .. well I dont even have Windows on CD (I think) since Dell delivers its PCs with Windows already on it. It contains some kind of secured space which contains the Windows data if you need to reinstall. Of course there is software out there that can participate my PC still now but I am afraid it will destroy my windows reinstallation sector. Saving crucial information isnt that hard. But imagine all the games with their updates, all the images and screenshots, all those tiny precious freeware I got. No way. I need a partition cause I would easily need 20 Gig!
-
got no partition! In order to do that I would need to format my PC first.. no? There are some programms that can implement a partition when windows is already installed but they cost money!
-
So do I get this right, it is worth buying! right?
-
yes but I dont want to reinstall windows all the time. Actually I have never done it in my life. I am too afraid I loose too much content!

Norton actually never helped me. Every Virus that it found was also found by free virussoftware, and at the end of this year I need to prolong my license so I got to pay again. Actually Norton missed some during the scan that others did not. Seriously, try winpatrol, Spybot, Ad-aware and this combination saves you from a lot of problems. Oh and get yourself a good programm for registry cleaning. Hijackthis doesnt help at all, forget it.
-
there are several you should use in combination. I can tell you after work which three I use that work perfectly together. First you need one that cleans your cache and all leftovers of your internet explorer. Then you need one for finding adware and spyware. Then you need one for cleaning their registries. And finally you need winpatrol. One of the best programs that prevent it from entering your computer in the first place!

Funny how no one on the left was paying attention to this and much worse during Saddam's decades of rule. Actually, it's not funny at all. OT: Regarding Terry Schiavo, see The Death of Terry Schiavo: an Epilogue for an example of a contrary opinion. NOONE came along with the words "lets stop the iraqi starvation". Except maybe the UN with their oil for food programm. (strange to mention it but true) So I dont care about right or left. I blame both sides. They are ignorant in their own way. Iraq was suffering from starvation (actually it was rather the lack of baby food and medical supplies), true. So was africa. Did anyone care? Right wing left wing? Does NOW anyone realy care? No! The term "iraqi people" is deliberately used by TBA because it sounds so abstrakt. Statistics about "the iraqi people" dont stip up emotions because statistics are statistics and not photographs of dead individuals or pictures of children with one leg. But when the issue of Euthanasia is concerned, the US media dont say "euthanasia" but they paint a nice little picture of one poor person Terri Schiavo. Suddenly we can identify ourselves with her problems and we get emotional. Quite strange since currently there are several cases in the US simillar to that of Terri Schiavo. But no, this time we want only Terri, we want EMOTIONS. Did we ever see something simillar in the press about one iraqi women? Husband dead, children wounded! No, that would be too subjective wouldnt it? US Media dont show iraqi individuals Å• la Terris Schiavo coverage . That could create a wrong impression about the (sarcastic tone ->) "overall" situation in iraq. There might be individuals that suffered, but isnt the "overall" situation that counts? The overall situation of americans is good: enough food, overall enough medications, overall democracy. So seriously, who gives a f.uck about Terri Schiavo?
-
well and the issue gets even more ridiculous when you see how much attention the american media pay to Terri Schiavo. One single women, already proven to be brain dead is stiring up emotions, makes people demonstrate on the streets, repeating our christian duties over and over again. But a dead iraqi child? Well it was born in poverty and iraq is used to misery.. that isnt much of a surprise. Not worth much attention. But are we better in europe? Children are dying everyday in Africa and we praise a pope who spoke agains the use of condoms while AIDS take the last chance of african recovery. We have simillar double standards. The only thing that is different is the level of awareness. And at least we have the a feeling called "remorces" left.

Well.. since OFP requires precise aiming I hope it works fine. Otherwise your ingame character will wake up with a bullet in his head after a lag.

Yes that is their website! Hellfish, what am I supposed to tell them? " I know someone from an internet forum, he seems nice and he wants to work a while in Kenya" Â Well I am sure they are always looking for volunteers and what they are doing is exactly what you wish to do! But if you realy want to apply then you got to do that yourself! Â It is a huge ranch with a nice hotel connected to it. And with Bongos you are not so wrong, especially since they are nearly extinct in Kenya. So what they are currently doing is to bring them from the US and try to establish them again in Kenya. Their website has a lot of info and if you realy wish to live there (I doubt you still like it after a year) then you can collect some ideas from it. And that under "game ranch lifestyles" that is my ount (sister of my mom).
-
where in Kenya were you? My ount and my oncle live there, they have a range called Mount Kenya Game Ranch http://www.animalorphanagekenya.com/game_ranch.php

I found an interesting picture of how the bomb belts in iraq are constructed. Can you see the metalic pinballs? That is probably a very lethal shrapnel substitute.

Of course it depends weether this specific spammer was actually responsible for Defraud or whether he simply mailed advertisements. shitload of spam in our mail accounts cannot cause sincere physical or mental damages. So putting him into prison for 9 years would not justified BUT There Spam is also causing damage to the industry related with the internet. Spam arrives everywhere, not just in private households but also in companies and eats up resources and time. Secondly this spammer sold a tool for 45 Dollar called "FedEx Refund Processor" Description which would make you earn 75Dollars an hour but didnt and therefore was clear defraud! In Germany a manager got 9 years for putting 30 Mio Euro company assets into his own pocket. Dont you think that spammer caused a simmillar amount of damage? Jeremy Jaynes send out 10 Million Spam mails A DAY. He had a turnover of 750.000 dollars a month. And more than 10.000 users bought his silly program "Fed Ex Refund Processor" for 40$ each. Yes, 9 year is not only a strict punishment but it is also highly justified and correspons with the scale of punishements given in simillar cases

Yes, I agree with Jinef, the hardest thing is indeed to get all addons running required by server. Instead of trying to install them all you should try to find one or two servers that please you (and its gaming schedules) and stick to it/them. Besides the server that Jinef mentioned there is also the CIA server that is up at least twice a week (wednesday and sunday) and we meet there VERY regularily. If I may speak for myself I dont see a reason why a "less" experienced person shouldnt join a session. OFP is not that hard after all. And for you I guess Cooperative missions (us against AI) is the best way to explore the capabilities of OFP-online and experience great battles together with us. "Capture the flag" or "Capture the island" are rather like straight Ego-shooters. I dont consider them to be that exciting. For that you could simply buy Counterstrike or battlefield. There is one thread that I want to show you. Here you can check the schedules and see when a server is up from forum members for forum members. http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....st=1770
-
hell, lots of players connected yesterday. I had a few sad accidents (bals shot me in the but, Alphabet naded my reproduction organs) but all in all I think we had our fun, even with buggy missions. So CIA, your service is still very much appreciated. Oh and funny to hear TS yesterday. That was like after collapse of the tower of Babel.. lots of strange accents.!
-
What usually happens is that I log on into a server during the time they are playing a mission. No problem, I can wait, but why do I need to stay in front of the screen? Because otherwise there is no way to find out when they have finished and I can get into a slot. Why isnt there a loud signal that tells me the previous mission is over? I could do other stuff in the meantime! Damn I guess I should have posted that in the multiplayer thread!
-
Damn anoying that you can usually join only for the last mission. We are realy having lots of fun during our sessions but most people of course leave before you enter. Zime-Zones suck! Maybe one day we should arrange a long saturday night session.. we dont have to get up early on sunday and you are already back from work at that time!

Good story libFront! The screenshot make the story even more fascinating

Not surprisingly, the most common mistake. Wouldn't it make more sense to use mortars? In switzerland they use rocked propelled greandes (bazookas) to bring down avalanches too! look page 4 http://www.bbt.admin.ch/berufsb....4de.pdf

I doubt that! They will defiently not "own" Bayern at home. Not if you consider what players had been missing. And Makaay would have definetly used the one or the other opportunity to score. What you can say is that they maybe draw in Munich.
