It stupid, and it should be fixed, but thats how it is.<span id='postcolor'> No, I disagree. I live in Australia too, and there have been past cases where one person has defended another and it counted as self-defence. I would quote the case if I remembered it, but I can't be bothered looking up my textbooks atm. As far as Australian law is concerned, defending a less able person is fair and reasonable, as long as the force used is not excessive. If I remember correctly, the case was regarding a couple in a bar, the guy's girlfriend was being assaulted and he jumped in to stop it. Later it was ruled that his actions were counted as self-defence, even though he himself was not threatened physically initially. 'Self-defence' is not strict in its literal meaning and can be extended to others.<span id='postcolor'> the legal term for that is 'third party defense' it applies when the victim was unable to defend him/herself, and had to 'defended' by third person. it's usually, not a law, but a statue.<span id='postcolor'> Oh if this realy has been the case in your country and he has been found "not guilty" then it is "case law" so you wouldnt need a "statue" for that. BTW hey Mr Fubar do you know where this word fubar comes from?

Ehmm, what about the passengers of the plane? I must admit that it realy appears a little bit strange that a plane his the Pentagon, but still I dont believe in a political lie. I would not discuss in terms of physics cause this is a field which you can hardly oversee. An argument may sound logical but in reality it isnt. But strange is the fact that "the plane hit the building vertically. To fly the appropriate curve and dive deep down into Washington, stay at an altitude similar to that of the traffic lights, you must be (as I think) terribly well trained. Minutes before you must keep the plane precisely in the right tunnel, a Boeing does not allow great corrections. Another question I ask myself is: why didnt the plane dive through the whole building?". Okay, some of you say the pentagon is build very bomb sequre, whatever. But what you think a WTT is constructed like? I am sure a plane of that size (if diving in vertically) would have cut the pentagon into seperate buildings! But who knows? Â

You people havent lived in an Irish Boarding school yet. They welcomed me there with a good wrestling "slam on the floor from 2 m altitude" (and that was meant to be fun). So I started my first week in Ireland with breathing problems. And then I had to learn Rugby (damm I am German)! I think with this one person you didnt risk much! I must admit that you are a very decent person cause others would have had no remources to knock that person down (in a gentleman way). I am disgusted by people saying things like: "you should leave, I wanna have fun with the two girls!", I hate it, hate it, realy hate it..! There are countries such as spain where you must be very very careful about what you say about girls. In Germany people that want to have a fight know that they can only get what they want if they touch your girlfriend or dont stop offending her. "Well, hmmm what should I do? Let him touch my (female) friends, basically be a coward, or tell him to stop and get a punch for free? Anyway, the evening would be screwed! My solution is: I just dont go to those kind of clubs anymore. I rather pay a little bit more, but  then at least the club is smaller, the girls prettier and the Wishkey-Coke has higher percentage of alcohol. (BTW: I agree what Nordic DK sais. 100% right, forget about those strategies, they make you think you are strong but you are not, and usually such a fight is over before you remembered any of those tactics. Usually (for us non-hooligans) a fight is a ridiculous thing, cause it looks stupid and not at all like Bruce Lee. But never be afraid tooooo much, cause if something happens and you realy realy loose, because you were too afraid, then you will suffer minority-complexes for the next 3 years)

I wonder if the astronauts up in the Hubble can watch the fights in Afghanistan like we play Civilisation 3? And they make bets....in which cave the US-soldiers find Taliban and in which they wont!

Oh, I think every second journey of Blair goes to the States, doesnt it. First of all because people like to cheer so much over there and secondly because he has to find a reason to escape from internal conflicts (such a the mayor talks with the UK-unions)

You are probably right. There is something wrong with the ears. But the best paintings in the world were corrected a few times. So nothing to be anoyed about
-
Whether or not that is not the issue here. I am just terribly anoyed that a group of Kentucky-farmers interprets such a dark piece of history with their A+B=C logic. Oh of course I forgot, just because they got Israeli roots they understand history better then people that lived and suffered here. I mean how twisted must one be to assume that a German-Jew would have ever thought about the German Weapon laws as a reason for their indefensiveness. But for you non-brainers over there (I mean the writers of the Site) why your logic wouldnt work: Those Jews back in the Hitler-era considered themselves (as I do) as 100% Germans. Which they were since their families arrived centuries before in the middle age. Being German at those times meant also a certain prussian discipline towards State and government. Noone would have ever dared to aim at a policeman (especially if there is a whole truck coming to get you) Reason 2. Germany was a highly developed and intellectual country, noone in the beginning(also the jewish-germans) could believe that something like this would ever happen in the country of Goethe and Schiller. The genocide started when the jewish part of the population was already fully demoralised (but of course you Rambos would have killed them all like in Wolfenstein part 1). It wasnt that that they came and said: pack your things we are going to kill you and your family. No, they were moved first and gathered in Gethos. Their things were taken away...and a long period of demoralisation started. 3. Dont forget that Germany was playing the mayor role in a world-war, this confusion amongst the population gave Hitler basically free hand to do whatever he wanted with the Jewish-Germans I am sick of reading what I write since it is such an infantile simplification but still it is worth more than their marketing text to safe the "county weapon laws" for some shepherds.

I can assume that I am gonna get stoned for this, and I am sure there were tons of threads about it without me having noticed it. But for the neirds like me (if there are any), have you noticed this project from Bohemia: Independence Lost I am not too sure if they want it to be OFP2, but I am sure that they have noticed where their strengths are so they try to build on it (plus a great reputation). What do you think?

Gun control = genocide ahh, there is much worse. There is one site that sais that: if there wouldnt have been any gun-restrictions in Germany back in 1944 the Jewish-Germans could have defended themselves. Find the silly Site here (wobble has little image in his sig that reminds me of that thesis) Me personally, I got nothing to do with it. But I think they abuse history as a marketing tool for there own purposes. Basically they abuse their own dead to support a silly thesis. "profiting from the dead" or something like that it was called in a magazine (written by a lady with jewish roots). Maybe you should change this thread to: Sites that make me furious.
