    Dear forum members!

Bla bla, sounds logical what you say but is not true. If it is significant that the copy is not real, then there is nothing illegal about it, the same is true for money. Have you gotten you OFP-passport?

I dont like that those people take the attention of the press (and september 11th) to foster their own fame. They dont define themselves by what they are but by what they arent, against who they are and what they want to do against it!

    America bashing

Well, but you must expect people like me to read it, people who just came from the "America and Nukes" thread...they could misinterpret that! And you will see that you gonna find some bashing here in a few hours! (what a thrill) But who cares? BTW do you know the phenomena that whenever your mother comes to visit you, the weather gets dark and grey and it starts to rain.....(today my mom came and of course, the beautiful sun disappeared)

    America bashing

watch it, Denoir, they kick you for something like that! You better change it! Secondly anyone who would post here would ridicule himself. It would mean that we wouldnt discuss objectively (with an open mind) but with a predefined goal: "to say 'no' to anything the US does"! Now if you approof to that then they are right to ignore you, cause they cant change your opinion anyway.

The whole situation is getting a bit too absurd for me! Absurd especially since all the media dont harmonise anymore. Before you could somehow expect the same comments from CNN as you could get from BBC or Euronews. But during the last months this has changed. CNN and SKY for example now appear to to be government owned cause all they do is present positive, uncritical newsreports, whereas BBC and Euronews dont stop criticising Bush's strategic moves. Whoever is right, I must admit that I am bit scared about what is happening right now. I feel as if Bush approaches issues no longer with diplomatic gloves (like Clinton) but with the iron-fist of the world-power. And I dont like this "okay if you dont like what we are doing then dont ask us for help!". As far as I know the US never waited to be asked for help (and wasnt asked). But in the future it might be the other way around. It is not Europe that is the direct target of the terrorists, it is the US. Still, some of those terrorists were caught in Europe (god knows what would have happened if they would have reached the US). But since the US is now also considering North Corea, Russia and China as terrorists, well, have a nice time then cause that is quite a big job...you dont mind if we enjoy the Beach while you are fighting? And dont tell me this US-bashing stuff please. Some of us (especially the Germans like me) have to watch silly Hollywood productions for decades in which all foreigners are shown as people living in huts. Or all Germans as slick Nazis in leather-boots. Now that is real Bashing! All I want to say is that the "my way or the High-way" theory of Mr. Bush does not work, no matter if you are the strongest or the weakest nation on this planet. I know that of course the Americans wont care. But I somehow I feel that this is not he right way...just a feeling you know Â

you see I agree on the fact that it couldnt make much a change in the last year of the war. Mossie-food? This plane was too fast to easily get hit by fighters. Only bombers had a little chance to shoot them down. I must insist on that because just yesterday I saw a 2 hour documentary about the experimental planes of the Luftwaffe. German pilots admited that it was hard to take down others due to the overwhelming and uncontrolable speed, but this speed nearly made then unvulnerable. They had to come from behind (so the speed wouldnt be too great) and this made them vulnerable to bomber defense but allied fighters had to so say good-bye cause they couldnt follow (especially the quick rise in altitude). Dont tell me that a spitfire had an easy play to follow the Messerschmitt's maneuvres and take it down. Only a few of those planes took down a heavily defended bomber squad of 14 bombers and 3 fighters by only losing 3 planes (1 went out of fuel). But of course in the game only little Mosquito can take down 100 of those ME 262, as you say..Mossie food!

This acceleration process took only place during take off. It was  a dangerous weapon (dont forget that it had R4M rockets´to take down bombers). Their reliability was sufficient, unfortunately did their fuel not allow them to fly longer than 12 hours. The reason for crashed were therefore in most cases 'running out of fuel'.  Now if you expect great victories from a plane that was developed and used in the last year of the war, where there was already full air superiority for the allies, then you expect to much from it. But if you say this plane was Useless with a Poor performance then I would look at the US earliest jet-fighters. The Germans had developed another plane from the ME262, the so called 'project 1101' which the US nealry fully copied to build their Bell X5 and all their later fighters. The performance was extreme. Probably the harshest plane during these times of war was the rocketplane ME Komet, which was capable to climb 40'000 feet in three minutes (only experimental plane, could only fly 30 seconds at full speed) But there were other fighters that were even more ahead of their time, but it took the US a few years to come back to those concepts, such as the Messerschmitt P.1110/1.

Was I neglecting what he said? My point was: you may consider a plane to be a soft object, but construction-wise and in combination with speed it isnt. Proof me wrong buddy!

I almost got beat up last night

I guess Fubar comes from "furchtbar" (german for 'terrible'. But because english speakers cant realy pronounce it I guess they would say fubar! What kind of a fucking looser with a minority complex must one be to piss on someone else(when this person is lying on the ground)? Here we dont even kick someone once he is lying on the ground. But maybe thats a question of culture? I mean I already shake my head when Wobble sais that now and then he wishes he would have his gun with him to prevent situations from escalating (his reasoning made somehow sense though). But this kind of behaviour....

On the screenshot at the bottom you see the ME 262, the first military jet-plane. Surprising that they put such a plane into a game, cause it makes the glorious allied aeroplanes appear to fly at the speed of a butterfly. But I guess they gonna change this so a hornett can of course take down that dark-Nazi-over-speed-plane (as we see on the picture). (BTW the ME-262 had only one little problem, it couldnt reduce its speed so it had a hard time to target the enemy cause it was just to damm fast, so some of the pilots were right to ask: what is the damm purpose of this plane?" )

I almost got beat up last night

So true! I especially like the "does he have friends nearby" issue. I mean where I come from that is the oldest and slickest trick always! You always have a little dwarf agressing you, calling you strange things (in bad german so you first think he asks you for a cigarette) and then you gotta think..shall I teach him... and then you decide not to (even though it hurts your pride) and then 10 minutes later you see this guy pissing someone else off and of course you see his five of his friends (in their nice street-fighter dress) just waiting for the fight to start. The easiest way is to pretend your mobile is ringing (silent ring of course). You lift the phone to your head turn around and start talking to the not-existing person on the line. The other guy wont wait! But I am so fed up with people agressing others for fun. Nowadays I would get so choleric I dont know how I would behave. So as I said, there will be a day for the younger ones of you ("oh yeah as if I with my 25 years should say something like that!") when you can afford to hang around in clubs and bars where those people cant or dont want to or you simply learn to know the owner! There are so many ways to get around the saturday-night battle.

I just wanted to put emphasis on the fact that such a plane can have a enormous impact (I mean they dived through the whole WTC). It is not worth to discuss the cinetic issue here because there are thousands of little details that matter. E.g. the motors (turbines? or how do you call them?) are the only ones to go through because they have the smallest independant surface of the plane (no doubt about the weight issue here), and they fly through a building without having to push through the concrete floors, only through the side walls (unlike the corpus of the plane)

On the pictues that thing looks massive. I wonder what they do with the centre of the pentagon? maybe grow the presidents safest carrots, healthy cauliflower, ongions and apples? </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote (Wobble @ Mar. 10 2002,22:42)</td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">lik I said the plane is not a solid object, only the engines are. the plane itself is like a giant marshmellow.. thats why the engines went through the building on each side and the plane body just made a big burn mark..<span id='postcolor'> But what impact does a Marshmellow have if it has the speed of a golfball? We are not talking about static plane here, we are talking about a moving one and this speed increases drastically its power. If you would compress this whole plane into round ball, then you would probably say, wow this thing could break anything (if it has a good speed). But this is what basically happens! when the plane hits a surface it folds itself together and gains density (as you may know from cars) furthermore is a plane build in a round shape and composed of a metal skelleton which again reinforces its structure. Dont misinterpret the power of such a flying lady!

Wow wow wow, pas mal! You did it on your MS Flight simulator! Actually I meant "horizontically"! did you try that? It cant be that easy too, wihtout hitting 10 000 other buildings! (it must be horizontally cause the flames start at the outside of the builidng not in the centre) Oh btw: I might have misinterpreted the size of the Pentagon. Do you think those realtions in size of plane and building on your screenshots are correct?
