Can someone tell me a userfriendly tool to repack the directories to a pbo file please! I tried eliteness but it crashes, even if I followed the steps. And I tried ConsolePboTool but it gives me a corrupt file and cpbo I dont understand how it works. A dos Window opens but closes again immediately.

Would it be tough to create a civillian (western looking) child? Dont get me wrong, I intend to tell the story of how a kid who fell in love with flying and became a pilot. So no digital abuse of this kid involved. (and of course I wouldnt forward the addon to anyone else if you wish) Anyhow, more civillian items would realy be appreciated.

In Germany this generation (68er) once accused their parents of not having fought the Nazis. Today we know better and the once so critical 68er generation turned out to be the most egoistic in the history of our country. This arrogant Mr.KnowItAll-Generation enjoyed its luxurious lifestyle at the cost of future generations such as mine. And this generation was highly prejudiced, mostly against the US (due to reasons such Vietnam, capitalism, pershings etc). That wasnt a problem back then but now it is. They grew older and a certain percentage now holds important positions with great public influence. I mean look at it. ejay, sometimes I am lucky with servers that are available for 60 players and more. Why, I dont know. Try it.

the patch did not resolve our multiplayer problem. Even if I disable Ethernet I can rarely join a server. Game still crashes, besides that everything works fine. However the path-finding of tanks still sucks big time.

yes, it must be the ethernet card, since we all have the same problem. This is realy anoying, so it seems we have to wait for the next patch! I am a little anoyed since this issue was adressed in so many threads on this and other forums! And BIS dont blame it on our hardware settings since all other games work perfectly fine!

I dont know why but I simply can not enter any multiplayer session at all, and starting a server myself leads to a crash too. This happens regularly and only during 1 out of 20 attempts I was able to join a server and play. Of course I make sure I try to enter a server that runs on the same version. I choose a server from the list -> 1 second loading screen -> CTD! I realy cant identify the problem, I doubt it is the ports cause any other Multiplayer game works fine. I am opening this thread because I simply couldnt find any message on this board and others that would solve my problem. And why the hell did it work twice without a problem, but failed the other fourty times? I mean I could wait till Friday, but reading the patch notes I cant identify a line that clearly adresses my problem. Any help? So ? I think it´s quite disturbing to have children in a wargame. It´s bad enough that alot of them actually have to be in warzones in real life. If you want to make a disgusting game that gets no clearance on half of the globe go for it and join the rows of Postal idiots who can´t get enough of splatter and in my opinion have a serious malfunction in their head. As for Arma. No thank you. lol, you old over-determined German! Honestly, since OFP/ArmA are simulations I would consider (and not enjoy) a stronger civillian factor to increase realism. Nowadays when an attack is being planed the level of firepower you throw into a battle is not decided by the enemies strength but by the amount of civillians around him. ArmA simply is not capable to simulate an operation in Iraq because the most important factor, the risk of civillian casualties is not part of the function. Maybe thats a project for the future. At least the map should indicated populated and non-populated areas and at the mission ending you should get a summary of how many potential civillians you put at risk during your attack. I think Iraq shows us how much impact the civillian factor has on tactics.
