I have a question For a special camera movie shot I want to focus on the pilot from the side. If I do that with an ordinary plane then the camera will focus only on the center of the plane (but obviously that isnt where the pilot is sitting). Therefore I thought about creating a character and assigning him to the plane so I can tell the camera to focus on the person in his seat instead of the plane. So I created a soldier and entered the following command this moveindriver plane1 okay, so now the guy will start inside the plane as pilot and fly the stupid thing. BUT, as soon as the person will be isnide the plane the camera looses him. I clearly dedicated a camera to the pilot and entered a loop script so it will stay fixed to him. But it seems this script is being interrupted by entering the plane... Know what I mean?

could you suggest me how, using this script as an example ?

I created a new partition and installed a Windows for ArmA only. Works great!

Sickboy, you definetly have a better overview than me of what a new update would have as implications (or the work input it would require). I am only talking for myself and I often used to create missions and intros by creating new environments. As you know a tree or a stone can have a lot of impact on the battlefield. And for a movie it is even more useful. Instead of having to search entire Sahrani for the right composition of stones and trees I could just create it myself. But I guess you know yourself whether the effort is worth the outcome. Anyway, great work already and I realy love the addon. And to show you that I already tried most of it: there are some minor texture errors (texture cant be loaded) on some buildings. But that doesnt matter at all.

I want this loop to end after 10 seconds, then the camera should move to a different position, can you add an example line please (this would be easier for me then explaining it with lots of "X stands for" and "y represents"). Bullshit. This sounds so 80ies style, I realy cant believe someone is still stuck in this cold-war ideology. The threat will always be relatively low since any larger conflict would definetly break the backbone of any sensitive western economy. Static animations are fine to start off with. But where do I find a p3d from ArmA that I open and a man pops up that I can twist and turn? You got the name of the file? If I use the animations.pbo and unpbo it, then I get millions of p3d files but none opens.

Yes Bals, I just got this example-mission for all animations. Quite impressive. Now I know how this guy can sit, but I dont find a chair! Just PM me when you need a alpha-tester for your mission, I bet a weirdo like can come up with a lot of crazy ideas!

Me too. I love the athmosphere in ArmA. It is great to record short movie clips. But I am a bit dissapointed that there are no commands for sitting on a chair or on the ground (correct me if I am wrong). I grew older and got tired of this shoot here shoot there and try to create realistic civillian situations instead. Please add some more civillian addons with the next patch.
