So here we go: MP Party with Sniperwolf Him, located in California (afternoon) me located in Germany (terribly deep at night 3h039). We had a realy cool MP session. It was helarious. The ping sucked but we still managed some realy funny stuff and the map he created is worth a second try. We did a lot of "ejecting in the air" stunts and the best ones I wasnt capable to save. But here are some of them. Enjoy sniper wolf flying at around 110km/h through the air and facing death Dear Sniperwold, unfortunately I was so STUPID to delete your best stunt. the one with the dodge that looked so great. I dont know whether it is possible to revert overwritten files? But I am the living proof of a "nearly" perfect Dodge 360 vertical axis stunt. Please apologise for this "stupid" loss of a great image!

Some wheeled vehicles have compressed air systems that will keep pumping air into the tire until the damaged vehicle can return to base. This all depends on the size of the hole though. Alot of tires (like the ones on the HUMVEE)have a steel core, and some are multi-celled as mentioned before. As for tracked vs. wheeled: IMO, tracks are better suited to off road conditions than wheels are. Tyler<span id='postcolor'> I cant agree to that. it very much depends on the offtrack terrain you are facing. In Germany a wheeler could still be much more of an advantage...but of course there are things only a REAL tank can cope with

I just saw that the two use a simillar detection system, give me a second to verify the differences. I just remember that during the Gulf War Germany was the only one arround to provide such a tank and I heard that they upgraded the system. My intention here is not to undertake a patriotic battle but to find the differences. besides the fact that Fuchs has 6 wheels and VAB has four I havent found much more

You got me wrong there. It is not a chemical protected tank but a chemical detection tank called Fuchs NBC from the company Rheinmetall For biological warfare agent detection, Rheinmetall Landsysteme has developed the Biological Reconnaissance System Fuchs. It enables continuous monitoring of the external air and detection of biological agents by use of a mass spectrometer analysis. Sample processing and identification of existing biological agents is carried out in a completely sealed analysis chamber with glove ports, a microbiological isolator, where the operator can work completely separated from the infectious material. With the start of Operation Desert Shield less than five months later, the need to immediately equip US forces was urgent. During Operation Desert Shield and just before Operation Desert Storm, the government of Germany provided the United States with 60 Fuchs NBC Reconnaissance Vehicles, modified before delivery by adding English-language labels and software;[

me too, I accuse the media for a lot of things. IT IS FACT that many of those murderers are striving for recognition. A little bit less NEWS coverage would change a lot. This is also why on 9/11 the planes were send at an interval of around 30 minutes, they wanted all cameras to point at the tower once the second one rams into it. You could say, well they werent pilots so the timing of when you would dive into the tower wasnt possible. But no, fact is that they had such a good knowledge of the schedules so they actually could have timed it better..but no..they wanted everyone to watch. And look how irresponsible the media are...using helicopters to film every goddamn car-chase..even the dude on the bridge who committed suicide by putting a shotgun into his mouth. In the US that was shown live in the AFTERNOON. Totally irresponsible and little helpful.

dk, but the germans have and Biological/chemical wheeled amoured tank that is the only one of its kind so far, and the americans PROBABLY want to use it for war in Iraq, that is why they are training now together with american soldiers. I doubt it though that germany will participate.

arent we rather potential backyard snipers, isnt this what they say about us gamers! -
I had this problem a million times and you get it even more often once you download millions of addons. But astonishing is that you have that problem for multiplayer! Usually addons make problems after the start screen and say that a certain vehicule cannot be found/loaded. Anyhow, this grenade holder sounds to me like an addon!

But that is because the Fuchs, Marder and Luchs are made in Germany...other tanks cant keep up with that!  Anyway those tires are a multicell construction so besides explosives I dont think much can harm it so you wouldnt be able to withdraw. Secondly the advantage is clear..due to the tires and the higly isolated motor those tanks can be perfect for intelligence operations of the Panzeraufklärer. (generally speaking that is their purpose) . In big battles they should rathe withdraw (or collect wounded). Balschoiw, are you stationed in Lüneburg? Also, it is not a good idea to use a Leopard inside an area that you dont want to ruin too much...if a road isnt made for tanks than you will probably flatten and deepen it by 50%  . Also is the range of those tired-tanks largely greater!

I remember a story of my grandfather that has to do with it. My family has a long industrial history in Germany and there has been a long tradition of hunting within this kind of society. Being hunting was always a good way of doing business talks, meeting new business partners and inviting politicians to familiarise. One day there was a great hunting occasion which is called Treibjagd (battue/or drive) where a group of noisy people comes from the one side to make the animals run away from them and then from the other side come the hunters to welcome the animals. During that day the city had received a new governor from the socialist party. And my grandfather apparingly didnt really like those people. Everyone there held his rifles ready to shoot and moved towards the animals. The governor, being the new one, was allowed to shoot first. After a certain time they saw a deer runing towards them. The governor pulled up his rifle and pointed at the deer...but hesitated for too long. My Grandpa standing right behind him didnt want to wait any longer pulled up his rifle and struck down the deer. He was standing so near to this governor that this dude could hear the bullet flying right next to his ear. At the end of the evening when the hunt was over and all were standing together to admire and celebrate what they had hunted the governor publicly complained: "Sir, you could have shot me, you were standing right behind me..if the deer would have continued runing to the left I would have been in the way. You could have killed me!" And my grandpa said: "well you see Mr. Governor, an impressive deer like this I might never be able to shoot again...but a socialist governor like you we get all the time!"

Indonesia isnt an all poor country. Jakarta for example is indeed an economical metropole. i got many friends from indonesia. BTW (without sounding agressive in any way) what do you think a muslim might feel entering a plane? "oh shit, not again, they all think I am a goddamn terorist, and the women next to me wants to change seats and will probably ask a strong man to sit here, and this dude will watch me all flight long..and when I gotta go to the toilet, the stewardess will stay next to the door and listen..." -
At what configuration are you running. I dont think you can work at 1024!

my faculty in switzerland had its own solarium-studio and we were only arround 1000 students! Solarium may be for bodybuilders but after studying for half a year all night long you got to go there otherwise you look like a vampire and wont get into any night-club (except the ones for goths) Â Are goths so pale because they study all night long? EDIT: RalphWiggum: word choice

I have that beogun too, I thought this guy makes things dissappear first! But how did you make him shoot at you and you fly so high (shouldnt you allready be dead?)
-
how rude how did you get to that altitude?

Well eat this and show some astonishment: In 1950, 15% of the earth's land surface was covered by rainforest. Today, more than half has already gone up in smoke. A century ago, half of India and a third of Ethiopia were covered by forest, now only fourteen percent in India remains and only one-third is left in Ethiopia. Eight out of ten trees in Ghana have been cut down. Three quarters of the trees of the Ivory Coast are gone. More than twenty percent of the Amazon Rainforest is already gone and much more is severely threatened as destruction continues to escalate. Statistics reported in 1996 reported the Amazon showed a 34 percent increase in deforestation since 1992. A new report by a congressional committee says the Amazon is vanishing at a rate of 20,000 square miles a year. That's more than three times the rate of 1994, the last year for which official figures are available. "If nothing is done, the entire Amazon will be gone within 50 years," said the 110-page report's author, Rep. Gilney Vianna of the leftist Worker's Party in the Amazon state of Mato Grosso. Yet another recent report said new figures showed that in the Brazilian Amazon, forest fires increased by more than 50 percent over 1996. In less than 50 years, more than half of the world's tropical rainforests have fallen victim to fire and the chain saw and the rate of destruction is still accelerating. Unbelievably, over 200,000 acres of rainforest are burned every day. That is over 150 acres lost every minute of every day, and 78 million acres are lost every year! More tropical forest burned around the world in 1997 than at any other time in recorded history, a report by the World Wide Fund for Nature. The fund said "1997 will be remembered as the year the world caught fire," said Jean-Paul Jeanrenaud, head of its forest program.

500 years! Well howdy this is optimistic. Here comes my question and you will be surprised: With the current speed of deforestation, in how many years will the rainforrest dissapear, or better, how much has already been gone during the last decades of mechanic catepillars?
-
And the problem is not that you have trees missing that cant produce oxygen but desertification makes it impossible to EVER replant those areas...they become deserts and deserts accelerates destruction since its got the bad habit to spread pretty quickly. Then rain comes, then sun comes and bakes wet earth to stonelike cakes, the next time it rains the water cant get into the ground. You get terrible devastations from water-streams and floods but the soil doesnt suck up the water it should. The lack of trees harbouring water increases the speed of earth-transpiration so water-periods get shorter. You get climate turbulance (el nino) that not only destroy little beach resorts but also confuse fish swarms and direct them into bad waters. But here come good news: The ozon-hole is closing again. THis has even been confirmed by green peace. They assume it is due to the reduced use of FCKW (the stuff once used to sprays and refrigerators)
