Coup De Tat yeah, that is sweet indeed (not trying to make fun of you Bluesman). I read some more of those a while ago. Zelawee!

Also, please take into consideration that when the police sais that an accident happened because both were driving faster than the speed limit, then this can also just mean 1-20 km/h faster than allowed. This is rarely the cause of an accident. I think most accidents happen because drugs are involved, insufficient sleep, insufficient space between driving cars, or other traffic-regulations are being ignored (and probably because some racing teenagers drive up to 100 km/h faster than allowed).

Untill both sides do not start to eliminate the agressors within their own lines, untill then they havent shed enough blood! Maybe all it needs is a few more decades of destruction and tragedy!

So...all the soldier that died in combat get nothing, actually dying for their country no matter what they beleive in, and their graves are pissed on by a 'poor tortured soul' who collides with a truck, is turned into a propaganda stand, and then returned in one of the most stupid uses of power and receives a bronze star for it? Must be easy to get a medal in the states. I think you havent quite understood in what times we live in. If you want a career, even if it may be in the military, then you need promotion, publicity and a good agent/promoter. Everything is show-business and the Iraq is nothing else than the ARMY-Broadway! You have to choose story that catches the attention of the people on TV. Preferrably 30% action, 22%tragedy and blood, 20% sense of honour, 18% happy end, and 10% follow up (the medal-awards afterwards, her first child being born, her kids joining the army bla bla bla)

It is also a proven fact, that speed limits on long distances can cause drouwziness (now how the hell do you spell that) and cause a lack of concentration. For that reason you find changing speed limits on German highways (even where it is not necessarily required). I am more concentrated if I drive on high speed for 2 hours than monotonous 120 km/h for 3 hours. And I know what I am talking about!

Pah, we can even put two into a single chopper. or be parachuted. NOW THIS IS A TOY. Please be informed that this an old picture and the tank has evolved since then. Rubber band tracks kick up no dust and make zero to no noise.

What a cheesy story. And considering the arab accent I assume it will turn out to be Golge Bullah.

You can order a GPS tracking system for basically every middle-class limousine (or even motorcycle) here in Germany. Once installed you pay a lot less insurance and you can call the production company to get in touch with the police once the car has been stolen. At the same time the company can lock down you car so the motor turns off immediately and nothing moves anymore. The trick is only that they have to install the piece always in a different place so the car-thiefs cant simply rip it out without having to search the entire vehicule
-
why not making the vehicules bigger? because the idea is to make its weapons stronger instead. WWII battleships were only so large because they had to be able to provide sufficient capacity and withstand the recoil. Instead of making bombers larger you simply make its weapons more precise and powerful. Actually you are arguing against the trend. The WIESEL is a small tiny tank but with good firepower because you can mount a variety of weapon systems on it. Also, what about repairs. Small damaged vehicules are easy to return to base and with few parts to replace. (and those parts can easily be transported). Large tanks? Yeah except the fact that you cant drive them anywhere through any narrow roads, forrests etc. The french just came out with a new weapons system themselves.

what is the prefered color for a bomb-belt during this season?

This is an article worth reading (short and straight) Gender, Lies, and Valor: Part 1 - Lynch Deserved Praise, but Not the Medal Some extracts: ...I admit that I am biased in my assessment of POW Lynch as a mislabeled war hero. I am biased by the heroic citations of our former POWs who earned the Medal of Honor. Two examples in particular: Air Force Maj. George E. ("Bud") Day suffered a broken arm in three places and a badly injured knee when he was shot down in North Vietnam. He was captured, and interrogated and tortured in a prison camp. He escaped and was eventually ambushed, wounded again, re-captured, and returned to his captors. His citation noted his continuous maximum resistance as "significant in saving the lives of fellow aviators who were still flying against the enemy." Navy Capt. James B. Stockdale ejected from his crippled plane and parachuted into North Vietnam where he was beaten in the streets by an angry mob, bound and captured, and refused favors in exchange for medical treatment on his severely broken leg. Recognized as the senior ranking U.S. prisoner responsible for organizing widespread resistance to their enemy captors, he was singled out for interrogation and attendant torture. Using self-disfiguration and inflicting a near fatal wound to himself as symbols of his willingness to die rather than capitulate, his actions led to his captors easing up on the harassment and torture of all prisoners, and "earned the everlasting gratitude of his fellow prisoners and of his country." Let's put these three citations in perspective. We have two men who were badly injured prior to their capture, brutally tortured over a period of many years, continuously resisted their captors' efforts, and through their self-sacrificing leadership examples inspired their fellow prisoners and helped save their fellow prisoners' lives. They both earned our nation's highest combat honor. Then we have Pfc. Lynch, who was given the Bronze Star, our nation's fourth-highest combat honor, for being in the wrong place at the wrong time, suffering horrendous vehicle accident injuries that prevented her from resisting capture, receiving life-saving medical attention from her captors, and being rescued in a daring raid about two weeks after she was first captured. ... an e-mail response he got: ...One former Marine's e-mail to me said it best and inspired me to write this article: "So let's use Lynch as the foundation for future medals. Since she never fired her weapon, then anyone who does fire it (at the enemy) receives a Silver Star. To shoot at the enemy and be fired at and even hit back, you receive the Distinguished Service Cross …. To shoot the enemy and get hit back and actually kill the enemy, wow, you get a Purple Heart, campaign ribbon, combat action ribbon, and Medal of Honor. At the rate this is going, I am going to find out what company is authorized to sell these medals and buy stock in that company." ...

From the Bronze Star Medal award ceremony: "For exemplary courage under fire during combat operations [from Mar 23-Apr 2, 2003 (11 days)] … Private First Class Lynch's bravery and heart persevered while surviving in the ambush and captivity .… [Her] belief in [her] Battalion's motto "One Team, One Fight" is in keeping with the finest traditions of military service. Her honor, courage and dedication reflect great credit upon herself, 507th Maintenance Company, 3d Infantry Division, Victory Corps, and The United States Army."   YEAH RIGHT, KEEP IT COMING ...WHAT A HERO And as Defense Watch puts it: Regardless of how and when the decision to award the Bronze Star to Pfc. Lynch was made, it proves to me that the Army today has a blatant, systemic disregard for maintaining the highest standards for its highest combat awards.

The terorists are the winners in the whole game. It is not Israel negotiating with the terorists...but Israel with the palestinians. People seem to confuse that. And THAT is actually what the terorists have achieved.

oh god sweden There must be a Moscito problem right now, no? -
Yes... I dont expect much of an effort from savage terorists. But politicians of a powerful grown up nation?..give me a break!
-
Mistral vs Stinger Mistral (vs Stinger) rules by 6km range vs 5km range, but is quite a lot heavier (less flexible). So does Trigat vs HOT (5000 vs 4000 m range). So all in all I think the germans went for a covert-ops, fast multipurpose chopper whereas the french prefered the heavy battleship
-
lol. yeah...I thought the same when I accessed their site. Why the hell do they post such a small silly picture that noone can read. No I dont...but let me keep searching for it!

It was ridiculous. The israelis should have been more adult than that. No negotiations with terorists (no provocation either) but serious goodwilling peacetalks. WE ALL KNEW THAT THERE WOULD BE A SILLY SUICIDE ATTACK DURING THE PEACETALKS , anyone assuming the opposite must be soo terribly stupid and naive. But since the Israelis arent stupid and knew it beforehand they should have not gotten irritated nor reacted. BUT instead they f.u.cked it up again. A simple reactive measure would have been okay...but a missile attack from a helicopter on a leading member of the fundamentalists. CONGRATULATIONS FOR THIS DIPLOMATIC MASTERPIECE. You realy know how to remain tolerant sensitive and modest on the way to peace! As I said: Children!
-
Didnt you ask about the difference of the french system and the german system? The difference is basically the weapon systems: We use Stinger and HOT and you use GIAT, Mistral and HOT. Your cannon is slightly stronger (30mm vs 12mm) but the german helicopter has a stronger night operation capabilities (FLIR-system). This helicopter rocks and wouldnt compare old american systems with it. It is not a question of national pride but rather technological advancement. You cannot expect a chopper after 30 years still to be top-notch. You can upgrade it but in the end the construction itself bears limitations to improvements. I think it is already pretty astonishing that NZ is willing to invest funds into a real military and even more than that, that its people wish to contribute to world-politics! not correct!

btw , wht kind of animals live in israel ? mainly frogs and then some species belonging to the family of teroristi fanatici!

who wants british women? Urghh Anyhow, I live in Malta right now and I bet none of you is as near to the African continent as I am right now. But I seem to have gotten used to heat. (it was hardest when I lived in SE Asia) Rule 1: Dont use air-con! You will constantly get sick and never get used to the climate Rule 2: Dont drink too much. You wash the minerals out of your body and you start sweating like hell (and consequently look like a mexican bus-driver.) Rule 3: DONT take a cold shower before you go to bed. You will only feel hotter after 10 minutes. TRY to take a hot shower. It is terrible I now but afterwards you get to feel realy cool once you get out. Rule 4: Get a spray and fill it with water. If you cant sleep then turn the fan towards you and spray some water on you chest. Rule 5: Dont eat before you go to bed Rule 6: I know it sounds silly but if you feel too hot at home then put your feet in ice cold water and watch TV. Rule 7: Dont look at women when they are dressed in those short ..... you will only feel hotter! Rule 8: Call the police if you see a dog being locked in a car or on a balcony. Or simply break the window, who bothers! Damn I wanted to get to rule 10 but nothing comes to my mind anymore! Ah yeah! Rule 9: If you realy cant sleep then just get drunk, you will sleep! Guaranteed! -
And that is why all except 2 UN members decided to stay!
-
Well I would say: If children cant behave then they have to be forced. I myself propose a large wall a la EAST GERMANY, combined with some very effective AP mines on each sides. High guard-towers with strong lights and heavy machine guns. If the palestinians want to cross from East teritory to west-teritory then I recommend to build a tunnel (paletinians only). No member of the two nations are allowed to approach each other by less than 100 metres otherwise get fined. (the money raised from that fine is used to heal animals being hurt by AP mines).

where's that "US can do it alone" attitude now? Both sides are FORCED to approach each other now. The UN now obviously needs protection now from US forces. Weather the US is to blame for this attack on the UN (as a consequence of war) has no impact. Of first and utmost importance is the protection of all UN offices in IRAQ! And for that you need the US
