Just to clear a few things up, the H2 isnt a total peice of crap, they put weak suspension on it to give the interior a more luxurious feel, its not at all a true off road vehicle, just a luxury SUV, which is what most are becoming now, I have never sat in a hummer but from what i am told the suspension causes large blocks to stick up in the driver compartment, the more "luxurious" h2 is supposed to get rid of that by not having the quality suspenstion the real hummer has. The owner at the car dealership i work for has an H2, someone traded it in for a corvette, they are actually very nice in side, but its no hummer.

ATI cards are known for a better quality of image in most game, flashpoint is not one of them. I have a ti 4200, cant do max view distance or terrain detail with it though without it lagging down to a point where i cant play. The FX 5200 and 5600 are below the graphs of the 4200, and were designed by nvidia to suck up more cash. The FX 5800 is an excellent card if you have the latest drivers and if you dont mind an extremly noisy card. THe FX 5900 is the latest and the greatest, which beats the 5800 by a few marks and dominates any ATI card, its quiet, fast and supports all the latest stuff. If you have loads of cash to spend, get the 5900, if not, get a BFG Asylum or Gainward Geforce 4 4600. Theres my bit of advice.

Yo, i am trying to get some of my friends to play ofp who already dont, they play such games moh, and battlefield 1942. I am trying to get them in on ofp, but they seem to think its 5 years old because they think the graphics are horriable and not worth playing. I dissagree, i dont see anything wrong with the graphics when you comprimise all that for the extreme realism and large playing fields of the game, but they wont listen, the do anything/anywhere environment makes this game entirely special in that way, and it can do it in a way that no other game engine can. Anyone have anymore ideas on how to convince them?

can anyone here tell me how i can capture moving ofp video, like how the ofp trailers where made, like a moving screenshot into an avi file, i have looked for software but found none. And i had considered a video out to my vcr and then back in through my capture card, but the quality would not be very good, im looking for a good quality lag free digital way to capture in game video footage, can anyone help me?

when ofp2 comes out i want to make sure i can play it at full graphics and resolution. I will definatily upgrade for ofp2. Does anyone know what graphics card you think will be majorly supported? Last time it seemed to be nvidia, but now that ATI and Nvidia are facing off pretty close, its a hard descision.

I play paintball, and i have a set of basic woodland camo BDU's that i use for camoflauge. But everyone has woodland camo, and i want to be a little different, i have been looking for marpat BDU's online but i cant find any. I have often thought of getting some swiss camo, which is basically resistance camo isnt it? Or some german fleckarm (dont know how to spell it) camo. But im not sure if it will be as good as basic woodland camo, can anyone here offer some info on what you think is the best camoflauge that can be purchased and why? And possibly, where? The local surplus store just closed down due to lack of funds... so i have no place to go anymore, and im not sure about some of these online places, alot of them dont really look legit, bad site designs and so on. thanks.

Where we play looks very similar to this the only difference is that there is more small bushes and dead trees, that have turned grey. And there are dead light brown leafs all over the ground everywhere, and if dirt can be seen in the areans, its usually redish.

what if the game is just set in the 1960s with vietnam era vehicals, uniforms and weapons? it doesnt mean that because the stock units in ofp are wearing urban camo that the game will be set in kosovo or something, they may have just taken the picture to show the time era, also, we dont know how long they have been working on this game, and back when ofp was first released, before the oxygen addons, the huey was probably the most requested aircraft. BI might have took notice to that and adjusted their game plans accordingly.

hey... i am getting missing texture errors when i load up the game now with these installed, anyone else have this problem?
