    I just sent a copy to OPFlashpoint.org so start checking that site.. it might show up sooner The file for the version 2 is called   CaptMooreMod4a.zip it has the "4a" in it.. not the "4" without the "a" --------------------------------------------------------- Here is a current list of bugs and fixes: - Rudder pedals visible from inside, not from outside. fixed - The rooftop textures over the cockpit do seem a bit darker than the rest. fixed - The only other tear/white lines I see is around the base of the VHF/UHF antenna on the rooftop. Right behind the pitot tube. fixed bad sorted front glass and back seats fixed not conected vertexes at tails near main body.. white lines are here visible fixed Some texture issues on the bottom fixed M60s enlarged. changed infantry machine gunners now attack chopper added rounds carried reduced to 1500 to fit under the seat changed AI gunner handles rocket resourses better added front part of the skids texture corrected fixed AI better shot with MG's added armour increased from 30 to 60 added Threat level adjusted fixed passangers in rear can be sniped.. but pilots are safer [using OFP standard] added flickering windows thru the rotors fixed clipped box in center console. fixed added: Medevac will leave and not sweep back to attack when fired upon The gunship will sweepback and forth and attack enemy fixed being able to see under the floor from the front of the chopper fixed object sticking thru at the spad in the front of the chopper fixed Namespace, will no longer conflict with AH6v2 addon friendlies can now recognize the chopper at night choppers now have new names in game  UH-1c:hog and UH-1c:Medevac It was amazing we found so many.. but since I released the first one.. it gave LOTS of people time to find lots of bugs. But as far as we can tell.. all are fixed now.

  6. Capt Moore here... I had some questions about the new features of the 1.85 patch. Suma and company had this to say about the new features or fixes that I didn't understand or needed clarifying. Q: 1.82 - New: Scripting: Functions loadFile and preprocessFile added. A: It allows you to load content of a file located in the mission directory into memory (into a string value). Most commonly this is used to load fucntion code, as seen in several Q: 1.82 - New: Scripting: Functions loadFile and preprocessFile added. A: This can be used to create your own functions (even with user-defined macros when you use preProcessFile). SQF is its recommended file-extension. A: You can define your own classes on the same level as Armored and Car. You could e.g. make a class called AdamCars. These functions use vectors to calculate velocity and use an array of the following format [X,Z,Y]. If you want to make a unit called Test fly up in the air use something like: "Test setVelocity [0,0,10]" where the 10 can the changed to change the upward speed. Read more about it in the comref. Q: 1.82 - Fixed: Transfer of user defined animations through network in MP A: This means opening/closing doors (and similiar user defined animations) is transferred across network. Q: 1.82 - New: Addon dependencies can be declared using requiredAddons[] section of CfgPatches. Q: Can you please give an example on why this would be used? or the use of it? Normally addon loading order is undefined. This makes problems when you want to use some classes defined in one addon in some other. First who reported this problem was Kegetys, who made addon that inherited some classes from Resistance addon "o".     Here is the current list of bug fixes.. The uh1 gunship has been updated and is ready. I am now getting the medevac caught up of these issues.. which will be much easier since it has no weapons.. If there is something I missed please let me know.     ok guys.. here is the news.. I have found a way to get the Mg'r to fire on the choppers.. But in order for this i will need to turn up the armor a bit .. because they get shot down to fast.. I figure 60 they are currently at 30 I also made it possible to snipe the pilots.. though this sounds cool.. i have found that in testing.. that the pilot or gunner get killed WAY to easy.. with just one m60 firing at them.. so i think i will not allow this to happen, which is in line with the littlebirds and the other BI stock choppers. I have fixed a few bugs that were reported: 1. MG'r now fire at the choppers 2. Texture at the bottom of the chopper fixed 3. Hole area can be seen thru tail section.. fixed 4. Rounds reduced to 1100 Is there anything else that need fixing with the choppers? I mean bugs.. pls don't post enhancements 1. blinking seats thru the main rotor.. not fixed yet.

The MG infantry will shoot at small helo's (hence it attacks the littlebirds) but wont attack the scale and size of a uh1. if I shink the geometry on my chopper down.. then they attack it.. bu the problem the is now its possible to walk walk way thru the chopper because of the geometry size. So if we have have the infantry MGr's attack the geometry size of a uh1 that I'll be surprised. Based on my testing it wont happen though. However the M2 will attack the Uh1 geometry size.. If i have a small geomery size.. then you can walk thru the helo.. and the trees will go right thru the heo also... at least the tail and other parts that were shrunk.. and i mean really shrink it to get inf to attack it there there is the problem and the solution.. now using my work.. someone try and figure a way to get the geometry size to be large and the inf to still fire at it.. so far.. no luck on this side. here is a quote from Suma on the issue: </span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">It should depend mostly on heli armor and mass.     I saw a chopper shot by a AI RPG once... the chopper was a player and was setting down to drop off some spec ops.. and an AI RPG man popped it... but the chopper was sitting on the ground

    I just tested: MTY-UH1D = infantry machine gunners didn't attack it SEB SPEC OP UH-1H = infantry machine gunners didn't attack it CaptMoores Little birds = infantry MGrs DO attack it So which chopper are you speaking about that they do get attacked?

    actually i tried to do it in this version.. I spoke with Bi on how to make them attackable.. and I tried what they suggested and still it didn't work.. So if someone know how to do it.. please let me know and I will promptly make an update

    lol ok np.. but seriously  i got some nasty ICQ's from members of another MOD team about it... so its not really targeted at you .. just getting frustrating.. when some don't appriciate your hard work and would rather tell you how bad it is.. instead of just not playing it. I guess thats what got me to overreact.. all is well..

    I expect nothing more from someone who is about to release their own chopper...its a shame that other moders are upset that i am releasing this... you are not the first moder that is working on a huey that is upset that I released these... believe me i just got done talking to someone else how is upset.. Â well the community can decide which addon they want to play with... PLUS if you want to get technical.. there are a WHOLE like of bug issues like the scale and size of "someone elses huey" that is about to be released.. but you know what.. i didnt mention it.. why? Â because I dont care. I'm not here to make people upset.. but to give them MORE options on what they what to play with... Â and not to have any one MOD TEAM monopolize the whole mod community.. I'm a free lanser and the rules you guys might want to use does not apply to me.. and I think the whole OFP community would agree with me.. the more the better.. if you don't like my addons .. heck don't play them.. and get over it Signed, Capt Moore btw: the guns shown in that picture are not what was modeled on my chopper.. i modeled the 7.62 guns and even have a differant mounting system.. imagine that!

    There was a bug in the old version. It only worked on files smaller then 1 meg. The new version is now posted.. make sure to get it and try it before you come back with more bugs to report..chances are it will work for you. Capt Moore

    My question here is do we need another Uh1 chopper? I spent the time and made an additional one .. yes I know there are already tons out there.. the SpecOps huey was pretty great too! Well I made a uh1c variant that has the one door on each side and one window on that door. I think its a little shorter then the Uh1h and uh1n varient. What do you guys think? Do we need another?

    The doors are great! Any chance of sharing the secret on how the doors work? yes i understand that are just the door from the houses but how did you get them to slide instead of open.. thats a very cool trick. Capt Moore

    Thanks, I used the rotor model and the interior pilot area from the chopper.. but not the body or cargo area. I figured why recreate a great thing.. plus it saved me a ton of time.. also people can NOT heal at this chopper.. it is only designed to fly injured out to a MASH unit..

    ok here is a link to the medivac chopper I have been working on. It is now finsihed.. The Gunship is also finshed except for a strange dual bullet streaming bug that I am looking into.. i think its a bug with the game and not the addon.. but I'm checking on it now.     These choppers look great! remeber the uh1c is smaller then the uh1n.. so pls check the scale before releasing them.. but they look really good.. any idea when they will be released?

    I forgot to mention.. one fo the choppers is a medivac chopper the other is a standard gunship that carries 2 crew plus 4 passangers plus 4 MG's plus 2 rocket pods.
