Thanks for the help so far however got another problem I have made a video in fact cause I thought it was easier to see how it was missing as opposed to just missing a bit off or else... Well as you can see, I selected the area I wished the missile to hit, selected the map mark target and selected fire. The missile was never really on course to hit the target and missed by some distance. The target was only about 700-800m away. I am using the scripts as in the Stryker AT demo... <table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"><tr><td>Code Sample </td></tr><tr><td id="CODE">[["Stryker_TOW"], 12, 12, ["Vehicles"], "AT Console", _mcctypeaascript, [0,1,0.5], [0,1,0.25], 1, -1, 0, [], 3]execVM"mando_missiles\mcc\mando_mccallow_by_type.sqf"; Using that in my init.sqf file to call the scripts and all works fine just the missile rarely hits the target. There are times when the missile is perfectly on target but for no reason at last minute deviates of course and misses. I have not atlered any of the scripts and the demo mission seems to work perfectly fine, I have copied all needed lines from the description and the init file so I cant see any reason for this to happen. Dont know if it has antything to do with it but there are a LOT of enemy on the map 200+ squads Thanks for help.

Very usefull set of scripts, nice work. only one way to figure out is to try it Another way you could get an AI to do it for you whilst you go have something to eat or what ever, leave your self in the back of the boat, when you come back you can find out. Could be best to leave it in 4x speed too.

Suggestion Being able to group empty objects to each other and even to AI What would we gain from implementing Often I have wanted to randomly place a small camp i have made of empty objects so they are in a different place each time however I could just group them and move the 'leader' of them. We could have enemy choppers attacking buildings such as bridges by grouping them to an enemy hidden soldier, buildings wont be such a great hiding place anymore

The BIS UH60s minigun span didnt it? Yet again its been a while since i fired one in ArmA. But if it did couldnt you just check the config of the uh60?

Can one of those options be an OFP style UI? Mainly cause the OFP UI was very good in most ways, apart from the editor was a bit small but that could be fixed. Looks good anyway, anything will be better then the ArmA UI.

Well great work on the scripts really really cool stuff. I did have a quick scan through the pages but may have missed it. How can I have an enemy tank which only fires upon incoming missiles so I can use it to protect certain areas of the island from enemy missiles. But I dont want this tank to fire upon anything else. Plus how can I make this tank slightly more in accurate so it doesnt always knock the missile out of the sky? Cheers.

Thanks, its still not 100% as I would like it but its much better. BIS really need to upgrade the knowsabout command. Anyway thanks alot.

Great set of scripts, love them. However I've ran into a small problem, the knows about levels are kind of odd. 2,3 and 4 only have the guns to fire when your basically on top. Level 1 is okay but they only fire at you once you have opened fire on them or are close up. And 0 is ideal as they open up at long ranges. However for the mission I am doing I could do with something in between 1 and 0 so they open up at long ranges but only open fire once they detect you as an eemy target. Is it possible to do this some how?

Try using maxmem=512, that sorted out any ArmA problems that I had with my 8800. Also try running with nomap and which ever the other is, check the wiki. This may bypass something. Also try a search people have had simillar problems so them threads may also help.

Well I was playing and suddenly received the following error message... Well imageshack or my internet is being very slow so I will just type the error... "Cannot create system memory surface DXT5,2048x2048 (size 5636096 b) Error code 8007000e" Also forgot to mention I am using maxmem=2048 Im guessing its just an 8800 problems with ArmA but I thought I should check. My specs are... Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 @ 3.06ghz Abit Ip35 to support the 1333fsb speed 2gb RAM Geforce 8800 GTS 640mb using driver 162.18 Windows XP with SP2 Running at all settings maxed out including view distance. I ran a quick search but found nothing. Not sure if anyone has had this error before but if they had what did you do?

Just a small idea how about adding the rain texture back in, a very light version cause there are times when the rain is created a bit far away from the player for it to look 'normal' rain since rain doesnt fall in certain areas around a person. So creating a very light rain texture will finish this off I reckon.

Just had a quick go witht he rain and its really good, the rain now goes with the wind and from what i can tell causes no fps drop or very significant drop if any. Currently uploading a quick video to show the rain as pictures dont do the mod justice. Shall edit here once its done...

Couldnt you make a rope addon however config it like a ladder? So it looks like a rope but can be still climbed up and down? It would look kind of weird witht he current ladder climbing animations but an animation could be created. -
The new version is nice however during night it is very hard to see... http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/3802/untitlednx7.jpg As seen in that picture viewdistance is reduced a lot. It seems okay with night vision however. Plus is it possible to kind of slow the rain down, the rain shoots down the screen very fast and looks slightly odd. If it is possible to make it slightly slower it would look much better. The rain is very good during the day though, you can actually see it as opposed to just hearing it.

Do other CDs work? I had a problem simillar, the CD drive had power and appeared as if it should work but wouldnt load the CD, turns out there were 2 bent pins in the back of the drive meaning it wouldnt read the CD. You may have something simillar or it may be totally different. But still, try a different CD which you know works and tell us if that works or not. -
Work on ArmA II, the stuff that needs fixing in ArmA I are quite a lot of engine tweaks. Plus isnt 505 working on the expansion? Surely that will come with a patch like they say which should fix the majority of things wrong with ArmA.

Well I got bored and created a very short video of 94 AT Soldiers against 32 Tanks. Video has no sound. Video was filmed on very high everything with 10000 view distance. Love the explosion effects very good job on the mod Edit - I need some sleep forgot to post the link

YES! It looks like OFP again, was sick of the new look ArmA had. The vegetation really looks impressive in this new game. Hopefuly this game is what ArmA 1 should have been.

Any more information you wish to share with us? Such as specification, driver numbers, do you use maxmem? Theres very little anyone can help you with if you dont give us lots of info. I had constant crashes until I used maxmem=512 as my gfx card has more then 512mb RAM and now I have yet to see one crash.

Well like I said all settings are maxed out so Texture detail is Very High however the problem has seemed to have gone away. Not one crash to ArmA in 2 days, that has to be a record.
