[RM] is pushing 20 years, founded in April 2002 by [RM]3Lions & [RM]GSTQ. One of the original OFP "clans" formed with UK and Australian members. Some advantages and considerations for joining [RM] are listed below: Members must be 18 years or above Team work is a focus We only do coops We dont like rambos Apart from our history, below is an outline that might assist those considering. [RM] was set up for those who wished to join a well structured and organised group. It is well suited to those who enjoy being part of a close knit team, taking part in various types of missions on a regular scheduled basis. We prefer milsim style but with no heirs and graces. We have Majority UK and Australian members with a sprinkling of US We have a promotion system We are currently are hosting a server with UK addons. Hey Yono....we where looking into some missions but I put some wargame coop v coop with no respawn to the powers that be @ GOL and they just didnt seem interested. So we sort of dropped it and stuck to our own dedi server...might jump on for a run again though in the future.... Shame cause I thought you guys would be keen for the next step in realism seeing as you guys seemed up for realism as much as we did...... TBH i cant remember who it was that eventually said no but I sent them through a rules of engagement and they said they had discussed it with the rest of ur clan and no one was keen on the idea.....was a bit surprised but hey, its not up to us.....hopefully someone @ GOL might reconsider in the future.

Dont suppose youd consider expanding the map as a whole and adding the towns to the E, NE & NW....now that would be and awesome project! Great to see an updated version too....the hard work is much appreciated. Looking forward to giving it a run...Ill let you know if i come to the same problems in the same area as before.

No probs mate I understand. Really keen to use this map so was hoping you could fix this issue. Details below Location on the map and the location of the blufor, opfor and the possible buidlings the AI can see and fire through. Blufor field of view when hit Opfor field of view when engaging Was just luck that it happened as the opfor was placed on a 2nd floor and could therefore see over the ArmA walls. There was an opfor placed on ground level that did not engage. Hope that helps. 3Lions

Well if you had have read the above post properly you would have seen that i did not give specifics as I wasnt sure if it had been discussed already. But, as I also said, if it had not been, I would be happy to give you the specifics. Dont get narky about things not working mate.. I like the map and am taking the time to try to help out cause I want to use it but cant with it the way it is at the mo. I still have the misson so ill put a vid together and some pics to help out. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but we have shelved the island at this stage due to the fact that when doing a patrol we took fire....got hit...and when the birdy flew to the culprit low and behold he was behind 2 buildings....for some reason he was able to see through and fire through 2 buildings...they where the same structure so a assume there is some bug with that structure....is this being fixed yet...if not let me know and il will be happy to email or pm you the details as we do like the map and are really keen to continue using it. New website activated. 40 Commando Royal Marines ArmA Brigade History of our brigade included. Lost some data in the transfer so is still a little work in progress but gives you enough info if you want to know what we are about.

I have to get the link forwarded yet...the current site is 40 Commando Royal Marines New one still in the works. This thread is to promote RM on ArmA not a apendage measuring contest. RM has members who currently serve and have served, one of which has recenly lost mates while serving with the Anglians in Helmand so we'd prefer to respect their memory and all those of the Armed Forces currently serving by not trivialising what they do in conversations about a game.
