I killed all the AI, OK? Asano moves few meters forward and then make a d-tour. There was no enemy alive and the corner was like 5 degrees to left. Behaviour I experienced in this mission was beyond usual AI driving. Even if there would be enemy, why going of road. It just makes you take more fire and your gun shakes even more.

I agree that you should have control of the vehicle. But I had another problem in that mission. Asano randomly d-toured of the road for no reason several times. Lol, this was quite funny and yet very sad. He went of the road, driving extremely slow, wasting few min to get to a point where using road it would take 10s. And then, I blow up a vehicle on road. So vehicle was blocking the road and he drove right into it. Yes, he crashed. Why didnt he d-toured then? Luckily SUV was still operational and my character was whining a bit but c'mon. Mission like this need to be polished or left out. Half baked missions like that are no good. Other thing I was excited to see was new scenarios and there are non. Sure it doesnt say there are any in description on website, sprocket or manuals, etc. I thought its in there though and havent checked in depth at all what it contains becouse anything I see from BIS I just buy. I never looked into it or "try before buy". So... yeah, I guess I should keep my eyes open next time a bit more. I think I complited the campaign. I saw red AAN screen and then the game froze up. I shut it down. Today I wanted to replay the mission or something but all the mission I done disapeared :eek:. I have no strength to replay whole campaign at the moment, this was quite devastating.

Yeah, I have this since ArmA 1 on quite a few different hardware and OS. In all this years I havent found out what causes this. And yes, happens only in ArmA. I should probably make a ticket on CIT if its not already.

Yeah, cool. Speaking of it, where can I download it, and the rest of them for PMC and BAF. On official site there are only for OA and A2 as well as tutorial. Please upload them there so I can complite my collection of trailers. They are really good. I dont like to download them from YouTube.

Hi all! In the intro of newest fail from EA (NFS Hot Pursuit) new SHIFT was announced. It says NFS Shift 2 Unleashed so Im hoping for something like Porsche Unleashed. That were good times for me, still are. Hustling with used cars to buy and upgrade new, incredible challanges in Factory Driver and quite realistic handling. Nice, not flashy menus and very well made car showcase and specs. You can open doors, hood, trunk or adjust roof as well as compare detailed car stats with other cars. Shift is good but feels kind of empty. I felt like they could have done more. However I loved the handling. Not too hard, not arcadi either. Teaser of Shift 2 can be seen here: Although it does not show much or nothing at all. I try to post some more videos when they come out. They say release date of the game 2011 though. So what do you guys like more. Classic NFS like Hot Pursuit 1, semi sim like porsche 2000 or something more like Live for Speed? Or do you maybe hate NFS and like pure racing sims? I find throwing grenades in OA one of the best tbh. Ive seen some games that have a marker where the nade will land and I have to say it was way too easy. Main thing is that you can now throw a nade over the wall next to you. You can even make it so nade goes off in air, which is very nice. However, such aid could be available as option in games parameters like crosshair, etc.

Very nice! Is there a detailed description for every addon? I could really use some. For instance, what Javelin tweak do? Is that Javelin needs to be locked manualy and that determines fly path or something else?

Lol, MW2 didnt have XM8 but did have ACR, weird version of M4 and AK. Im happy about XM8 to be fully modeled since it is in A2. So upgrade of that is a good thing.

Dont want to be rude but this is just silly. Then its really better to have CoD like knifing. You cant knife AI anyway becouse you need to be prone to get close otherwise they "hear" you or... hack you. In all this years of PvP since 2001 I was maybe 2x in situation to actually stab someone. M9SD did the job usually. If you think about it, in game like arma throwing knife would make more sense.

I found something about this MP lagg here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1573066 This reduces lagg quite a bit but it doesnt help much becouse there is still thousands of laggers out there that dont know about it.

So SP seems great. MP... OMFG. As zipper said its not playable right now. On server is says I have ping of ~50 but it feels like 500. Terrible lag. Then I went playing against AI which is kind of fun, but they could be more human like. Once they lock you its pretty much over. They dont seem to have any recoil or sway. For now... I dunno what to say, I feel like I wasted money on this. We'll see if they fix anything. Atleast lean is back.

I just got BlackOps and installing it now. I will post some feedback later.

Well "realistic" weapon sway of arma kind of kills game aspect in A2. Becouse of this you need to operate much slower. Take more time for shots. Or much more punishing recoil. Well OPF nearly didnt have it but yeah, that. Another thing is longer animations for changing stances. More could be found if I would play OPF for few min. Now Im not saying that realism sucks or anything, its just different. I like it both. I kind of feel like A2 is not just a upgrade to OPF its more sim then OPF was. Its hard to say whats right, but I know one thing. Thankfully we have mods that enhance realism and some mods that are more focused on game aspect.

Although I prefer it the way it is now then how it is done in DR for example. There doors open and close but you still spawn in a vehicle. If this is done it should be all the way. Anims for soldier as well as vehicle anims.

Oh man, thats cold. I dunno why they do this. I bought CoD5 primarely becouse I wanted to play coop campaign with a friend from ger. And we couldnt play it for same reason. Why cant they just make the flags all red or smt. for ger players. Anyway, cant you buy german version when it comes out then?

I wouldnt count on prices dropping soon. A month ago or so I seen CoD4 being sold for 35EUR in some local store. Anyway, Ill get blackops. It cant be worse then MW2.

I have Logitech MOMO Racing Force Feedback steering wheel and it plays fine. You can set deadzone and stuff like that in options. Then it starts steering as soon as you are turning the wheel. By the way, whats so awesome about that video. Its just honking at some AI.

I play it becouse its the only true PC game left.
