Interestingly, in a real war on terrain like Sahrani's the battles would most likely be fought at night to mitigate the effects of the open terrain (cf. the Falklands war, or "Desert Storm"). I agree that the night environment needs some tweaking still in ArmA, especially since a pet addon project of mine will depend on it. I still prefer it to the "theatrical darkness" we used to get in OFP though. agreed with ya i mean US does a lot of its operation at night and night does not look like an pich black hole that ya cant see 2 inch in front of ya. But if there is an way that like in OFP DXDLL that made night look better to see in, if could be done plz do would be lovely

nice units all in all but there is not that much body armor or any thing like equipment on the units? I know that modling tools are out now is there any chance of makeing more equipment on the units makeing them more bulker. Also snipers is there any chance of make them haveing dressing like the XAM mod its been done, what about desert dressing? By dressing i mean camo neting

ok love this idea but haveing some problems with installing it, iv dl the file put the @PROPER folder in the ArmA folder and ran the instal bat took an min but when was done iv made an shortcut to ArmA and made it like this -mod@PROPER and nothing happen? How do i get this to work can some one show me the right target line plz.

wow this sounds so good but just dont work well the arabic music works but thats it. All other enviroment sounds dont work cant here them? Been trying all kinds of thing to get it to work but it just dont work, if can look in to this Same problem in the other version.

any chance of improving the skins on the AH-64s like better paint. Would be nice Like the surfes is all fuzzed up. Love the AH-64s just the skin paints on these birds are fuzzy. Love the work you done

In v0.6 it just lovely but the units is just way off to the left of the screen, if could put the unit in the middle of the screen would just be awsome that would be the lovelys view in 3rd person

some one just had to say this. hedcrusha does this because he likes what he is doing yes, and yes he gots talent and it shows but addon makers get info from the community and peoples comments and helps them get facts of peoples opinions and they take it and do what thay can with it. Plz hedcrusha keep it up

I like the view its a little closer the v0.6 ya cant see the feet of the unit can you zoom out just an little to show the units feet? This is great i love this view plz keep it up Also is the unit in the center of the screen instead of the far left?

hi peoples the 3rd person view in ArmA is just way to far away, iv dl headcrusha 3rd person view v0.6 wich brings the view to the unit not as close as his other version wich is over the shoulder and its nice but the unit is way to the left of the screen is there any one who can just make an addon for the 3rd person view just closer then it is and in the middle of the screen plz. It realy brings out the details in the unit and vary much makes the game way better, plz some one just make an addon that changes the view in 3rd person closer.

yes iv tryed what you said and it was kinda hard but iv left an post on that topic and you have not got back. Sorry but im just been at this for weeks and a lot of people are saying all kinds of diffrent things of how this can be done and where to go and on and on. It sound like you know what your doing and understand what im saying could you help me on this issue of makeing an 3rd person view that is closer then the oringanil ArmA @ MehMan i sure you understand what im saying but iv been looking yes and tryed tools and all. By trying this my self i got confused about it, that is why am asking for help or if some one can make an addon of this.

yes i have asked and nothing. If this is an simple config change then why not any one help on this issue If its just simple. ok ok did you make an copy of your Dta? So what you did is dl this addon right, and then you put the Addon floder wich haves the crosshair pbo in your Addon folder right. You just put the crosshair pbo in your addon folder ok, and the Dta folder wich has the Bin pbo in it you put the Bin pbo in your Dta folder ok. If your dl this addon and an error comes up its not dl right and your not getting all the nesseray things you need to make this addon work. You do not have to rename anything ok just dl this addon and put the crosshair pbo that is in the addon folder in your ArmA Addon folder, then put the the Bin pbo wich is in the Dta folder you put this in your ArmA Dta folder try this

yes but make an copy of your Dta folder because the Dta folder that you just dl will be replaceing it. So yes replace it Â

come on guys some one help me on this iv seen a lot of videos out there that use an closer 3rd person view that looks great, if any one haves an addon that makes 3rd person view closer plz give an dl link this would be lovely, i know that hedcrusha made v0.6 whis is not so close as the one he made that was over the shoulder and showed half the body only, but the v0.6 is nice but the unit is way off to the left of the screen iv asked if he could fix which he says he cant because of the head would git in the way. But iv seen that this can be done but no one will releas there modified 3rd person view. just dl and put the addon in your ArmA addon folder and put the bin in your Bin folder thats all Have you dl addons befor?

@ Manzilla dl the close version keep the crosshair addon delete the rest and then dl the new not so close version and put the crosshair that you keeped from the close version in the addon folder try this.

omg how can you give me an dl link to that 3rd person view you got in this video its great its much closer then the original ArmA 3rd person view. Plz been trying to get the 3rd person view in ArmA closer view it realy brings out the units details.
