Thank you for the picture! The MP7 looks very good indeed. Its good thats its a handgun, that means you can conseal it like handguns are concealed in sahrani life on MP. Its nice for body guard/ private security style missions.

I think we also got those airbag devices for emergency landing on water. So it stays a float a bit longer.

And that is clearly visible too. The colours are excellent, they also match the troops dpm perfectly. The WMIKs look ready to go. I mean if you see the pictures you can allready imaging jumping in one and doing some serious 4x4ing. Still got same little point and that is that the tyres could be a bit darker perhaps. Nice work!!

Also think of a thing like things. Make a sort of a pile of sand. which you can drive a vehicle ontop of so its turret can view over the wall.

Indicates exactly how I think about the new screenshots m8. Puma is also going to be a nice helicopter for arma. It suits sahrani better then the american helicopters to be honest. And I looked at the Merlin picture for almost a minute I think. Its really a nice big helicopter. Edit I dont know how far the interiors for all the addons are exactly. But maybee you allready can show us some screens of various cockpits and their WIP stages? Would love to see some of the cockpits, with the displays, and gauges and buttons, and lights, and controls, and thingys...

Small arms are very very nice! Especially the m249. And the HMG's are good! Think the M136 launch could be a bit louder. I dont like the handgrenades, I think CSM's one is much better. Just BANG! Not to much echo. The laserguidedbomb sounds nice, want to hear it from upclose with MP sometime. That should be a LOUD bang! May I also suggest this link for some proper sound. LINK! Is just 1 word. And its actually the same for real life and if the ai fires it at you in the game. FEAR! Besides that, there are absolutly fuckloads of those things all over the world. If you got it and it goes bang, why not shoot it at the enemy. Nowadays you see high tech uber expensive weapons being used against maybee 1 person. If you look at it from that point, the few RPG rounds expended on "other" targets isnt that bad. But to get to the point, if and RPG flies by me ingame, im taking cover. If it would happen in real life I would shit my pants 6x. Whooosh...

Im referring to addons. Im referring to the same units basically that we had in OFP...urals/T72/M1a1/hummer etc etc Its be nice to see some MORE new content up for dload from BIS as in NEW UNITS. The actual game engine itself does not disapoint me. Oohh! haha, yes that makes sense. However Im pretty sure the addonmakers can make much better addons for free. And BIS could spend resources on a project to make new addons for us. But those addons will be matched if not surpassed by community made addons anyway. So IMO its better they spend their resources on finishing bugs and whatnot.

How about repair truck with 50cal! How about humvee with M240 in turret! How about the CROWS ontop of a humvee! How about some more "normal" bis cars in different colours! How about some optics on 50cals mounted in turrets! How about the sniper scope ontop of a M4! How about the M240 and M249 with scopes! I could go on for a while... Just ideas do as you please...

You know thats one of the first really positive posts ive read all week! We need some more And @Jackal Do you have a screenshot of the MP7 model your making? Ive searched but nothing came up. Maybee you have a picture of it somewhere on another site or something? Just asking... Offcourse then again I'd probally be pushing my luck asking for a new WIP shot of the MP7?? Im going to spend hours and hours on end at my shooting range in arma with these packs your making.

Name three things that were possible in OFP engine wise that we didnt have? Its like comparing a 1 year old child to 55 year old grown up proffesor. Offcourse the 1 year old child is less capable. But when it becomes 55 it will know and be able do to much more... OFP lasted 6 years And was shite in the beginning ARMA is only 1 year old And has several major bugs removed, it has much better graphics, and allows for much bigger islands, more objects to be loaded, and not to fucking mention the uber uber uber uber uber helicopter flight model we have now! That alone for me was enough! not to mention multigunner for instance!

Also beware of your cover... Allways try to find as much cover as possible... Watch your flanks, because thats the first thing the opfor will do is try to outflank you. Stay calm when you get shot at... Staying calm will result in you having a better and earlier chance to shoot back. Shooting a fuckload of ammo into the direction enemy is approaching will make you a target for many enemy. BUT it will get them to go prone and stay put for a while. This is your chance to relocate and take some shots. Edit Handgrenades are your friend AT rockets go more accurate at long range, but dont have much blast damage, however hitting the dude your aiming at will make him fly to the moon. My personal record was atleast 200m up for one dude. Oh that was such a awesome shot. < served that annoying AI sniper well!

No he shouldnt get the same respect as other people who are making fuckloads of good addons. But still instead of tearing into this person. IMHO! It comes from 2 sides... And offcourse I understand what you guys mean, but still its an addon and some people may like it. Besides that, people make addons, its a good thing most of them are released to the public. But I dont think your "better" if you work on addons for fuckloads of time. Be critical yes, totally put the guy down isnt nice! And is IMHO as bad as the "new" people in some of the topics, the people you were referring to here. I like the idea, allthough I dont like the fact stuff is connected to the gun without it having rails and stuff for it on those places. The PEQ and the light should go... Iron sights is nice though! The guns are nice to have, and the idea is good, but make it so the gadgets could actually be connected to the guns. They dont work so its purely for the looks, but I dont like the looks if it looks unrealistic. A "clean" version with only scope or iron sights, and without the gadgets would be uber cool!

Ahh come on mate... NOT ANOTHER ONE! This makes for 16 REALLY good addons I cannot wait for! No seriously the Puma looks very nice indeed. Like the tail rotor, and the overal shape of the aircraft, looks very real indeed. Will the skid thingy protecting the rear rotor actually work? Is that possible? Would be good for me! Ive chopped the tailrotor few times... Cant wait for the new Merlin Demo...

I'll do later on this day... Really? I don't believe that it sounds like this in reality. Fortunately i was never in any war and nobody ever shot at me or in my direction so i cant tell you really how such a "crack" may sound. But: I shoot the AR-15 series Rifle (M16) both on a wide-open range and on a "smaller" rifle-range and i can tell you that no weapons sounds so "artificial" like the current M4 and AKSU74 sound. No really, i don't believe that this are live recordings nor do i believe that the "bullet crack" was a live recording and being "unaltered" putted into the mod. I do believe that these sounds are extremely reworked by some sound editing tools and therefor sounds very artificial, very unnatural for me and destroys a bit this "serious" feeling Arma brings to me. The New M16 sounds do indeed sound good in my oppinion! The increased reverb is sounding very good and gives some feeling about its true loudness. For some new AK-sounds, look at this video: (at the end of the video).Something like that sounds realistic (this is live recorded). Regards, Christian First off you are a little too harsh though. But I was wondering about this Why dont you stick a F. mic infront of your gun next time your shooting and pass the recordings on to for instance FDF mod... edit I do like the new sounds very much indeed!
