    WWII MP Released!

    Hey I downloaded this and the only units that are appearing in the editor under "Axis Armored" are the Half-Tracks, Hetzer, Tiger, captured Soviet tanks, Goliath, and the Bergepanzer 38t. Isn't there supposed to be more there because I downloaded this earlier before I uninstalled once and remembered having Panzer IIIs, Panzer IVs, StuGs, Jagdpanther, and Panthers.
  2. This is just me but I would like to see a mini-mod that focuses around a fictional war between the Soviet Union and United States in 1945 or 1946 using Iron Front as a base. But I would to see a Pershing, because it's almost always overlooked because of it's short service record in the war when it was the vehicle that influenced the design of U.S tanks up to the development of the Abrams.
  3. This may have been asked before, but are there any plans to include the French Army of this period of this as well? I know we have Operation Frenchpoint, but they're more focused toward the contemporary French Military so I'm just wondering if you have had any plans to include them and even if they were no longer under NATO command at this point, France probably would've still gotten involved if Soviet tanks started to roll through the Fulda Gap.

    Shotguns in ArmA 3?

    Yeah I have to agree what shotguns aren't going to be very useful in ARMA 3's terrain because it mainly focuses on long-medium range engagements, shotguns in most cases are only useful in close quarters. Maybe if ARMA 3 was taking place in a map with a major city or an island with thick foliage like a forest or jungle where close quarters battles would be more common then shotguns would be useful, but even in those enviroments I would rather have a rifle or SMG just in case I needed to fight enemies at a long range. Plus from most of the videos I've seen shotguns are used more to breach doors than in combat.
  5. Yeah I just got it to work, I had to update @CBA_CO on SixUpdate, it didn't listed as needed to be updated because for some reason it was listed as "Incompatible". Nevermind, it started crashing again. But here is the mods I'm using. Could it because I placed the ACE config files into a separate mod folder and they're conflicting with the normal configs?

Sorry to bump this, but I'm having trouble with the infantry while using the ACE configs, they crash the game to desktop while loading in editor but work just fine without the configs and the only other mod I had enabled was JSRS. Vehicles however work just fine. Also tried it without JSRS activated and it still crashed.

    Invasion 1944 V3.0

    Yeah I would love to see the Italian/Sicilian Theater be the main focus of ARMA 3's I44 since it hardly gets any attention compared to Western Europe and North Africa. But I think Southern France would be interesting to cover as well since ARMA I and II's I44 focused primarily on Northwestern France and the Low Countries. But it's up to the devs on what they want to do.

    ARMA 3 Addon Request Thread

    Although NATO already has the Slammer/Merkava as it's MBT, I would like to see it receive a futuristic version of the Abrams to go along with it so since the U.S currently has no plans to retire the Abrams and the M1A2 is anticipated to be in service beyond 2050. Also it has been announced that General Dynamics and the U.S Army are working on the prototype for a M1A3 since the Abrams' planned replacement, the XM1202 Mounted Combat System was cancelled with recent budget cuts along with that I guess NATO could be given a modernized M1A2 to go with it as well.     How does the defense module work?

    I've been trying to get the Defense Module to work as well, but I have not been able to get it to initalize because it keeps saying I need to synch a enemy side to the module and I've synchorized both a BLUFOR and OPFOR Side Game Logic to the module. How do I set an opposing side?

    Cannot wait for the Desert camo units! The F-35 is an overly expensive turd at that, plus I don't really understand why the Air Force/Navy/Marines want to replace all their combat aircraft with a single plane. There is no way it can do all tasks to the same efficiency as a aircraft dedicated to that role. Only good thing I see about the F-35 is it's VTOL capabilities and that's it.
  11. I would love to see this come to fruition, I still have the old toys here in my room in plastic containers. So are you wanting to do modern-style or classic-style Army Men(Vietnam-era equipment) because I'm sure you get a whole bunch of stuff for it by just asking around.

    So what's the deal with the Zombie Aliens? Are they literally undead Aliens or just Aliens that use the zombie logic? What's the exact difference between the bloodseekers and the spookers? Also aren't their eyes supposed to glow in the dark?
  14. Thanks, but what are the class names for the factions? Also I've been trying to get the division patches to work and I keep getting "Invalid Number in Expression" when I try to accept and copy and pasted the command line from the manual. This is the line: this setobjecttexture [0,â€\uns_army\data\1acavs_co.paaâ€]; It worked just fine when I put the 1st Air Calvary nose art on the two Hueys I have.

    What really got me about this game was the small amount of content that it had despite the relatively long the time that the devs spent making it. I mean there's ARMA 2 mods with more content in them than IFL44.

  21. I thought IF's developers never released any modding tools or didn't want people modding it because of their contract with BI? I can't wait for 2.7 The Panzer III was out of service by 1944 and most were converted to StuGs. The Jagdpanther is currently WIP The JagdTiger came too late in the war to be really worth adding and it's too damn slow to be of any use ingame except maybe for a slight mobile bunker. The Challenger didn't see any real combat. I can't really say anything about the M4A3E2 "Jumbo" Sherman, but it's defiantly more possible than the top three. Any chances of the Panzer II Ausf. L though?
  22. I would like to see a mod based off the plastic Army men toys, although I don't know if the ARMA engine supports melting stuff with flamethrowers. Surely most of the people who play ARMA must have played with plastic Army Men at one point in their life.(if not the games)

    Well I'm sure BI will make sure that the ARMA 3 Workshop category is moderated heavily. Plus on the touchy subject of IPs, other companies handle their IPs differently. Others are strict, others are relaxed, others just don't seem to care.
