    I can easily recognize my models, because I know it's every rivet. My model has different interior and it has more detailed textures, hatches on side.

  2. YuraPetrov your mod is amazing. I have a personal request for the HH-60H.

    1) Can you remove the pilot/copilot doors? HH-60Hs have special permission to do this and fly the majority of their missions with doors off. However, if AGM-114 is carried (though 4 can be carried, max of two on the upper rails is more realistic) the doors will be on for safety.

    2) Can you remove the older IR Jammer and mount the ALQ-144 on top?

    3) Can you make an all-out gunship version? This would be 2 AGM-114 with a port M-240 and a starboard GAU-17. 400 rounds for the M-240 and 2000 rounds for the GAU-17.

    The HH-60H always operates with a port aux tank as the fast rope is only possible out of the port side(only cabin door). The starboard aux tank is rarely used, only for range on a ferry flight or to carry a spare.

    Here's hoping you can get the FLIR display working.

    You can set ammo to 52%. HH-60H will have only 2 hellfires on the upper rails. Door can't be removed.

    Why do you want me remove the ALQ-144? I saw some photos of HH-60H, taken in 2012 and it have ALQ-144 installed. Look at this photo for example http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthewphx/6624253057/lightbox/. I saw some photos with haven't the IR Jammer installed, but they have it's mount on top.

    I tryed the gunship version. M-240 on the left side is useless. You can't shoot ground target, because a side wing blocks. Can fire only at horizont line. That's why I made two versions with guns and with side wing.

    Don't understand what is wrong with my aux tanks?

    FLIR is working, if not, I guess you are using Arma 2 stand alone version. Flir works fine in A2OA only.

    I just tested it. It works fine to me. I tried Submarine Pack beta 2 by Gnat (downloaded from the link on the first page this thread), my latest seahawk addon and mando missiles Version: 2.4b10.2 http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8243.

    I places SH-60B, SSN Akula and Mando Missile Init and Full from Game Logic section. Like that:

    Then, dropped three sonobuoys by Left Windows key. Wait, while they finding the target, then switched to MK-54 HUD by CTRL key, locked the target TAB key, than fired torpedoes by Left Win key. That's works! Akula was hit.


  4. The color could be just slightly darker and still be fine, but honestly, I think these look super sharp the way they are. I did get to play with both the H and the B (my old ride) in game and they look fantastic. I could nitpick a few small details in the cockpit or on the exterior, but we're talking things super-minor. Really nice job. My one "major" complaint (and this is really not that big a deal) is that they sit a little tail low when on the ground. I'm guessing this is due to your strut compressing and you may not be able to "fix" it within the limits of the game. Again, this is just my observation and overall they're fantastic.

    That's a good news for me. To make them a bit darker is easy, just tune RVMAT files, there no needs to repaint all textures.

    What are those small nitpicks? I'm going to redo the cockpit for Arma 3 version, they may help me. You are right about the tail wheel. It looks that, because i had problems with landing on ships in Arma 2, the chopper was starting to "bounce", because Arma 2 had't dampers source for helicopters and i had to use the alt radar source. Anyway, it works fine in Arma 3 and the tail wheel will be better.

    This wing can be removed or installed again. If they need to use hellfires they installing extended wing and hanging the hellfire launched under the wing. See the first picture in this post:

    They removing the wing if they want to use the side guns, because the wing is blocking the field of fire.

    I was mentioning the A3 version of the HH's, I dont have that latest. I think I remember your MH60 one, and I dont think it's the same as what they have. Not sure though. I only have second hand and internet research to go off of. According to Wikipedia it's possibly called the " Mk 77 Mod 0 " (click here for reference). I'll go back to A2 and look.

    Gatordev, what info do you have on that?

    Edit: Yes, Yura it's the same mount that you're using on your MH-60s and yes, the same mounts on your HH60 in A2.

    There are two different versions of the mounts. The M240 mount model using in HH-60H, UH-60L and MH-60J (i mean helicopters in my addons). MH-60L using different mount model, it looks more stronger, i believe it is because minigun is heavier then M240. It will be used in future HH-60H minigun's version. I didn't make it yet.


  6. Yes, it is the HH-60G or MH-60G Pavehawk. I'm still don't have the clear answer what is the correct name of Pavehawk, HH-60G or MH-60G. First they was named as HH, but then renamed to MH and i they they renamed them to HH again, but i don't know it exactly.

    Seahawks doesn't have the fuel probe, sorry, i will not add it to seahawk. You can test my Blackhawks addon, it has MH-60L with the fuel probe if you want.

    Also as a reference, the HH60's pylon is elongated and short - it runs the length of the entire fuel tank and does not extend over it. Its quite small actually.

    As per the 240, the mount you have I believe is correct, I dont have the version of the model you have, so I can't say for sure. But essentially its the same external mount for the 240 and GAU (can someone fact check that for me?)

    No, 240 and GAU mounts are different. I know it, because i made them both ;-) Why don't you have the latest version? So can download it from first page of this thread. I released the latest version. My "work" version are the same, except i copied some Arma 2 files (crew animations) to SH60 folder to made it work in Arma 3.

    p.s. I mean the GAU-17. It is a Navy version of M-134 minigun. It is not .50 cal machinegun.

    As i said i liked more bluish version, i don't know why some choppers are gray and some choppers are bluish. Maybe color faded on the sun? Maybe Navy changed seahawk's color and paint new helicopters in new color? Anyway, i don't want to repaint all my seahawks! It is too much work to repaint all textures. If i will decide to change color, then you color get upcoming MH-60R and MH-60S choppers.

    Is my 240 external mount different, than on your photos?

    I will think about the cabine lighting. I added the pilot's cabine light to HH-60J Jayhawk and i think it is good.

    Yes, i can put formation lights on seahawks ;-)

    No, i won't to make the separate package with HH-60H's, because it is a work to edit paths in all rvmat's, textures paths in model and in damage section of config file. And HH-60H's using some common files in SH60 package, like pilot's cabine are the same as in the SH-60F.Troop seats , m240 gun mount, hellfire's pod, external fuel tank, main and tail rotors the same in all seahawk's.


  9. Hey Yura...i download the Sea Hawks and copy-paste the fastrope thing in black hawk...but...still the same problem if on map is Konyo CH-47...all in all...as always great job..and keep it on :D

    Just tested it on my PC. Both choppers made fastroping very well. Try to delete all addon files and replace them again?

    p.s. I ported seahawks in Arma 3 just for test, they looks good, hovewer i not going to release A3 version, still want to add working mirrors and FLIR display.

  10. Yura, thanks for the update. I just popped the mod into my A3 folder and got all the choppers to display on the ground - and took notes on bugs for ya. ...

    Ah no, i didn't test it in Arma 3. The addon is for Arma 2!

    - Upon startup, error of "yup_US_Navy_SH60b requires addons CACharacters"

    - At the A3 main menu the error of "bin\configBin/CfgVehicles/RHIB.scope not found"

    - At some point I got a yup_mk54 torpedo scope not found either.

    - Textures on all choppers seem bright.

    Yes, the addon wants Arma 2 pilots witch is located in CACharacters.pbo, it's normal, a lot of Arma 2 files and classes are missing in the Arma 3.

    Agree with you. It's my mistake, i deleted hellfire's pod with fuel tank together, just cleared all proxies, complettely forgot about fuel tank. I will add it.

    Either way here's the list of things I found for the HH60H 240 version:

    Those all can be fixed easily. Today i bought Arma 3, so i do it in one day, when i will have some free time.

    In the end, I know the 240s aren't in game (and may not be!), but I think you could replace those with the .50 HMG slow firing gun from the back of the Iranian Speedboat. Its long enough that it looks as if it wouldn't hurt the airframe IRL and I believe the Navy (and USAF) 60's can mount 50's whereas the standard UH60 cannot because its structurally too weak where they mount it. I have a 15T US Army buddy I can ask who knows everything about them if you need it. Just let me know. Also, Everything seems like config and memory point adjusting (and your sitting animation redefinition). If you would like I'd be willing to help out with texture/config stuff as best as I can; I would die to have these working in A3!

    I think it is possible to import M240 to Arma 3. I don't want to add .50 cal to HH-60H, better i will add miniguns ;-) .50 cal will looks good on the SH-60B, MH-60R and HH-60G.

    I do also have a question: is your fastrope option on the HH60's in general, or only on the rescue, or only on the 240 version? It should be on both IMHO.

    Fastroping has both HH-60H choppers.

    Edit:

    I spoke to my buddy and he said the HH60H's they use that aren't for rescue, have a 240 out the door opposite of the pylon. The .50 is out the side that has the pylon, and more to it, it's a floor mounted gun for the .50 (like a tripod), not window mounted. They dont use it often. So it's a nice-to-have feature IMHO.

    He also said that the HH60H Rescue version does not have a fuel tank on it. Period. It gets in the way of rescue ops. And confirmed that the HH60H non rescue does have the fuel tank at all times.

    Thanks for information and helping with tests in Arma 3. It will help me with porting addon.
