  2. Mandoble, I found a problem in MMA when playing with triple screens. Take a heli,mi-24 or ah-64, etc, and use the missile control tv to guide it. The black screen aera around the tv only covers the center part, the rest, about 1/3left and 1/3 right parts are not in black mode. Original game pictures are not covered. In 12:3 or 16:3 mode, this does not look perfect. Can you fix this for triple-screen players? Or can you show us how to modify it before your next update? Thanks.
  3. I installed a full screen nvgoggles mod, gtd_nvgoggles.pbo. In its config, there is a line ' modeloptics=“ â€ï¼›'. That's why it has a full screen nv effect. The question is that when I added 'opticeffects = {xxxxxxx} ', filmgrain,dynamic blur etc, into the config, there is no effect. The whole screen looks still so clean and clear . I have set PP effects to high, but its filmgrain effct is not satisfying, so can someone tell me how to add stronger effects to the "full scree nvgoggles mod"? Thanks.

    Good patch, glad to see ai improvement. Do hope new beta patch can support AA1 trees and bushes in caa1 project with AtoC tech.
  5. After patch 77706, atoc is applied to trees,bushes,grasses which improves the quality a bit and keeps fps good. Now it only supports AA2 and OA, can someone make a mod to enable this tech works on AA1 trees, now CAA1 project???? The game's own atoc is different from that of display drivers, I made a comparison between game enabled atoc and display driver enabled transparency multisampling.:)

    It is a Chinese 115 online storage site, I don't think most players here can read Chinese, so hope the developer can upload it to filefront or some place more easier to download. It was released a few days ago to celibrate the first take-off of Chinese Air Force J-20 stealth fighter/bomber.

    Combining warfx with ace2, I found one funny thing. T55, T90 have cannon smoke, falsh, dustwave effects, all of them. But, the rest mbts, m1,t72 have no dustwave effect when firing. It seems the problem of ace2, can this be updated???

    Tried the mod, but I don't see any cannon flash and dustwave when I fire the tank cannon. I use ace and gl4 with this mod, anyone has the same problem? Small weapons, as ak74, m16 etc , all effects work fine, beautiful muzzle flash, like it.

    Game freezing problem is caused by slx_vehicleeffects.pbo, remove it will get rid of the big bug if you have updated to above patch 76430. If you stay at 76430 or lower, no problem.

Is it somewhat like FRAPS which records the game in a huge size file or just like the replay file in need for speed 13 which is very small? PMC buyers please tell us? Thanks.

    Thanks, a good job! I like the small font and command bar mod very much, but one thing I noticed is that small font mod only works on some words, there are still 'larger' words in the editor, in weapon selection menu, etc, although I have set font to smallest in the config menu. Can you make very word on screen looks the same? On a big screen, the small font looks really cool!
  13. I use ace, acex, gl4 mods, and now with the new Invasion 1944 mod. One thing I noticed in I44 mod is that when a WWII tank fires the cannon, a dust wave will rise on the ground which makes the firing so real. But for those modern tanks, t90,t72,m1, there is no such effect, I can only see gun flash and some smoke. Can someone show me how to enable the dust wave effect for all tanks? Or at least which "class cfg...", " Event....." to modify???
  14. In the latest official catalyst 10.8, it says that in win7 it supports AA2-OA in CrossFire mode. So can someone test this? Dose it work? If it works, how about the performence increase? If CrossFire can improve the FPS a lot, I'll buy another card at once, ha.......

    Thanks for the reply, is there someone who can install the 10.8 driver and test CF? Since ATI officially says it supports CF in OA, and that is specially listed as a new feature, I guess it would help FPS a lot.

    Soft edge of shadow?

    In any town or city, if you look at those shadows of buildings you can see the edge of shadow is to 'sharp' or 'hard', so can BI or some moder make a post process effect to 'soft' the edge of shadow? Making the edge somewhat blury would bring better visual effect. I set shadow to 'very high'.

  19. oktane, thanks for your tutorial on removing 'rotblur' pp effect. I have removed the rotation blur from latest beta 72197 successfully. In the game, when a soldier runs for a while, the whole screen will become blury bit by bit. How to remove this effect, can you show me the way? I tried removing 'dynamicblur', 'gaussianblur' and even 'ssaoblur' but didn't see any effect. Of course I didn't know if I did it in the right way, although, the game shows no error. ---------- Post added at 06:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:16 AM ---------- Delta 51, use oktane's tutorial, you can make your own file for every version, aa2, oa, all work in the same way.
  20. I know that there is a post talking about SSD performance, a very long one. But it seems that no one has ever asked such a question: If I buy a intel 80gb x-25 ssd and I install 79.5gb data into it, not only AA2,but also other games, will the random read speed IOPS be the same if I only install 20gb data into it??? The reason I ask this is that we all know most SSD use internal raid0 to speed read and write, but if the space is almost used up, what will happen to the speed? Do hope those who are using SSD to tell us the result. To buy or not to, this is a question? :-)
  21. Great job, thanks! But I have one thing to ask, will there be a tree-view-distance mod which enables trees to be seen above 3000m? In AA2 origin, you made such a mod, but it had no effect, so will there be some changes in OA?
  22. In OA, when a tank fires the mian cannon, there will be 2 main effects. One is fire effect of the cannon, the other is dust blow caused by the firing shock. Tried the latest 377 ace2, ace + acex , tanks have no dust blow effect. Hope ace team to get rid of this 'bug' of mods.
