Here is how she looks rightnow. Thanks to xnodunitx for giving me ahand with the sharp/soft edges. I am still working the texture. Cant decide if i want the missile boxes green and weathered with the chassis or white and weathered. I have found many pictures of them both ways. ---opinions?

i think we are going with the "sabretooth" this will work well as part of the "triad" of air defence theory. I am configuring it for a medium altitude engagment envelope. With GodHammers Gammon in the works for high level. Low altitude we already have the ZSU-23, AAtruck, and the Shilka. Maybee i will throw in a Gaskin once this one is complete. I have already started the preliminary modeling based on the SA-26 that i would love to release if i could get the friggin damages to work. Aside from that i am waiting for GodHammer to do his tut on texturing cause that guy blows my stuff out of the water. Does anybody have a script to animate the radar? If you would like to write one and help out that would be great. the selection is simply called radar and while the gunner is in the vehicle it needs to rotate. Does anybody have any type of information as far as Fired to hit to kill ratios for russian SAMs? Also a friend of mine donated an Hummer Avenger 3DS model that he gave up on. So Western fans be patient i want to do that one and then maybee a Canadian ADATS. Thats all down the road.....

well i think its sweet. One launcher on monte pesto could cover the entire map..... so fly below it......or go "wild weasel" on it. Besides has anybody gotten past the AI not engaging anythin at long distances? as far as i know not.

i will for the next one. I am not an expert at modeling and am still on a steep learning curve. I thank the community here for giving me tips. Scince i started this project a have gotten alot of tips on making my stuff better. PLEASE if anybody else notices something that i could do to make this better chime in on a PM. i modeled the turret after the one on the SA8 Gecko. When i finish this project i may try the chassis. Then i might beg GodHammer to put some of his kick ass textures on it. Who knows.... come on guys i still need a NATO tag for the launcher!

I want to add more units to the spawn script for the evolution mission. IE more taks for the opposing force in each target area. Also i would like to include some of the new add ons out there like the T64 and BTR 80.....Has anybody been succesful at this? Kiljoy PLEASE share a little secret with me...... Also Kiljoy how about a Evolution Orange for the RACS

Just a little proof she works....... still have some work to do on the turret textures. This is another fictional one. I named it the SA-33 so far. I challenge the community to come up with the NATO tag for it. IE skyShark, gauntlet, gaskin, etc

as far as the MTLB... i have put in the PMs lets see if i get a response. I am still looking for anybody who can help me et the damage textures working. If so then i will put the Sa26 up for download.

@Godhammer that would be appreciated if we could collaberate on a project. Get in touch with me when you think you want to jump into one. @ Roberthammer I was looking at pictures of the SA13 and i just might head in that direction. My SA6 model is "OK" for OFP but i am not sure i want to keep working on it if it will not be acceptable for Arma. Mostly i just need more practice on textures. I think my stuff looks ok then Vilas or RH put out a vehicle and it knocks my socks off. I will keep going. RIGHT NOW i just need somebody who is willing to take a llook into my PBO and figure out why my stupid damages are not working. That is the current peice of education i need.

that script seems to just create the fire and pieces flying away. I already have that with the default vehicle explosion. The issue becomes when the dammage textures need to be applied.

that looks pretty neat. i am going to research that some more and give it a go. Right now i think i am going to try and finish my SA6 i started a while back. I was worried that i was the only one out there feeling the need for the surface to air missile units that we had in OFP.

I am looking for a script to remove vehicles from the battle field when destroyed. The situation is i have a ammo truck that a player can spawn vehicles from. Well later in the game its very slow to connect to the server. The only reason i can find is the map is getting over populated with destroyed vehicles. So if i could find a script that adds the "killed" event handler to the spawned vehicles somehow and then removes them once destroyed and they get done burning. i figure that could be done with a 8 minute delay. If nybody can tackle this and gove me a hand i would greatly appreciate it and invite you to join in on our server. thanks EDDIE

yeah i am tracking the class names and i have edited alot of the scripts in Evo before. Unfortunately there is only these two items that i cannot figure out. If anybody knows wich script to add the new class names in and how to get it running propperly please let me know. thanks Eddie

For our map i have 2 F-18s one of each type for the players to use. most of our players have yet to master the handling charchteristics of the bird so usually there is only on flying. The error will come up even when nobody is using the aircraft. again, no complaints, i love the aircraft.....

nope. and it doesnt work all the time for some reason. even when you set the variable to 0 it still leave at least some stuff. This is just working with the demo mission too.

unfortunately the error still randomly pops up while playing. even with the unit on the map. i'm not complaining the only effect on gameplay is the weapons on the aircraft are not visible.

unfortunately i need a script that will remove both east and west "killed" items.
