Looking nice! How was the game then? I've heard that the sunday got quite screwed up :/ -
480W, and it would fit my budget, not that much more expensive.

Antec is there, but I'd need atleast 400W for the 8800GTS, and at those ranges, the Cooler Master is way better when it comes to the price. Any opinions on the following models: Antec SmartPower Antec TruePower Zalman APS Silent Antec Neohe High Efficency ? These are in the accepted price/performance range for me.

M'key, this is what my system basicly will look like: MoBo: Asus P5B P965 S-775 GBLAN ATX CPU: E6600 (you know the specs) RAM: 2x1GB Corsair XMS2 Xtreme Heatsink, PC2-6400 HDD: WD AV 320GB 8MB cache SATA/300 7200RPM GFX: Asus GeForce 8800GTS 640MB HDTV DVI-I HDCP PCI-E PSU: Cooler Master Extreme Power ATX12V 2.0 500W So, I'm just looking for any opinion on my system, because it's pretty much maxed out my budget, but if you know better choices, please let me know. wex

Well, one of the latest projects from Google is iGoogle, a customized page where you can add gadgets, which show different things. I like it alot, it's fast, it has relevant information that I like to see, like buisniessnews and my Gmail, but also fun stuff, like Garfield of the day and a Japanese word of the day. So, do you use it? If you don't, why not? I belive that perhaps Google is saving your information about what you search (which has been declared as one of their future projects), so that when you search for other things, it relates to what you're interested in. I don't care too much about that right now, because I don't rely to much on Google when doing specific searches, that's Wikipedia for, but if I have to go to Google to search some random stuff, I probably wont be too off to get: "You might like to see this..." and some related links. What do you think? Worth to add ( ) iGoogle

Or buy some memory heatsinks, looking like this: The work to a certain degree. There is also a manufacturer (forgot which) that has a fanconnector with a neck that you can twist and turn around to place the fan whereever you need it in the case. Pretty smart thing, I'll look for it. EDIT: The Antec Spotcool is a smart gadget: Read more here

Probably a bug in the mySQL-database.

It's linked to the number of posts someone has made (postcount). Weird, because I have seen people with less than 500 posts with 2 stars and I still have one if my eyes don't fail me. Click on Members (located at the top of the page), then choose the following: Showing: "All members", By: "Total Posts", In: "Descending order", with "500" results per page. Now click go, and you can search your way down and understand what postcount awards which starlevel. But anyways: 5 stars = 4000+ 4 stars = 1500+ 3 stars = 800+ 2 stars = 400+ 1 star = 0+ 0 stars = 0-

Hey! I've been wanting a DSLR for a while, but this summer I won't afford (the need of a proper computer is larger then the need of a DSLR), so next summer, I will get a DSLR I was, just for fun, checking the most expensive camera from a local store, and the price was roughly 7400 € (euro), an EOS 1DS MkII. Noticed down in the specs that the largest imagesize you could take is 4992x3328, which is the 16,7 effective pixels. Who needs an image that large? Really, is it for like extremely large pics like posters? Arent they like magnified anyways, and printed on like 5 different papers to create a huge one? Just wondering -
Great one

Ok, thanks, I'll consider it, but it all depends on how much money I can get

Building myself. When saying 8800GTS, do you mean the 320 or 640? Because that config there is pretty much my budget maxed out + a little more, so it's getting pretty tight. Perhaps I could squeeze in a 8800GTS 320mb, but is it worth stepping up from the 7950 512MB to 8800GTS 320mb?

"iwex-q uses iGoogle, watches iRobot, while listening to his iPod, answering a call on his iPhone, eating his iCecream.." You're right, it's becoming a bit.. Well, the T-Shirt says everything for us! iCool!

Easiest way to do, no need for download, no need to install or anything! Otherwise, take away the controll from LMB, and just use CTRL?

Placie told me long ago to notify the moderators, and they would allow you to register two accounts on the same IP. But to share account? Alot of confusion methinks

Perhaps if the map was located locally on a serverbased system, but that would probably need like 40-50 Quad-Core Xeons with 16+Go DDR, and just farms of HDDs to share the "world". It would be possible if all the harddrives worked as nodes, so any node could cache a large amount of the world, and at any request, pick up any other part/-s from one or more of the other nodes, and then pass on to you. And then, add in a few of these all around the world, so it doesn't load slow as heeeeeeeck when you're far from the servers. And the connection.. Well, 1Gbit fibre out probably isn't enough, you'd might have to look for like Opto-fiber or something. Cool project, but waaaaaaaaaaa-waaaaaaaaaaaa-waaaaaaaaaay to big for today's home technology.

At what range were you in the video?

Since you're not downgrading to an x-fi, download the demo and test. But, what's the difference between an E-MU 1212m and an X-FI?

Can I run a DDRII PC-6400 (400Mhz) memory in a computer designed for DDRI? Cause then I'll buy 2x1024MB XMS2 Xtreme PC2-6400 for 110 euro (not used, so it aint stolen)
