    glad you like it , to resolve the problem of the heartbeat sound , you will have to open TR_OBJ.pbo and modify the config.cpp, look for the cfgsound and change the entry : class CfgSounds { class heartbeat { sound[]={"\TR_OBJ\sounds\heartbeat.ogg", 1.200000, 1.200000}; name = "heartbeat"; titles[]={}; }; rest of the sound class... and yes , with cqb enabled for all units it lags a bit when there are many units on the screen , i put it in the readme the soldier class is equiped with at4 because now it is one use only , and the javelin has only one magazine , that way the squad has more chance against armour units

    i noticed that when the squadleader is unconcious , he still gives orders to the squad although he can't move , and because of that the squad doesn't follow the next waypoints because keep on asking to the leader "where are you"?

    well, for some reason the recoil only affected these two weapons for the BIS soldiers in my replacement configs , not to the TR soldiers , anyway Viper Shiva did not meant a recoil problem but a "shaking aim " issue, that indeed is resolved modifying the aimprecision values

    Thank you for your response Tony, but my issue had nothing to do with the ammo. The problem is when I'm shooting from a prone position, ( lying on the ground ) my sight picture in the scope is moving around so much that long range shots are nearly impossible. Clearly you've built some major dispersion into the character config, for the purpose of longer fire-fights between the AI units- but it makes the player's experience VERY frustrating if you're trying to hit anything beyond 600m with less than 5 shots. Snipers weapons are typically very heavy, very solidly constructed, and have additional accessories such as bipods and ergonomic furniture to steady the weapon for long-range shots. If you are shooting a scoped-M24 from a relaxed prone position, and using a bipod, there is no reason that your sight picture should be moving so erratically, unless there is an earthquake underway. Perhaps this is something that can be adjusted specifically for snipers and marksmen, or perhaps it needs to be adjusted depending on the shooter's position, but at the moment it's just driving me crazy! I'm emptying whole magazines trying to hit stationary targets at less than 700m- which is ridiculous if I'm supposed to be playing the part of a professionally trained, US sniper equipped with a scoped-M24 rifle. I hope we're on the same page now? you can fix it at your own taste replacing the value for aimprecision in "RifleProneActions" (FFN config.cpp) from 1.000000 to 0.300000 , (you have to change the value in the two RifleProneActions of the config.cpp) it also resolves the insane recoil of the M240 and the pecheneg

    it seems it works a better than the previous version but there are bugs yet : (not smoke version) AI unit not part of your team (alone): -acts instantaneously -changes weapons or takes magazines correctly in all cases -radium of scan very good AI unit part of your team (under your orders): -it takes time for him to react -doesn't take ammo from a soldier with the same ammo of his weapon (makes gesture but doesn't take ammo) , but he takes another different weapon with ammo from bodies of her side or from the rival side - radium of scan ridiculously short (can't see a body at 5 meters from him) fix the second part , specially the last point and it will be near perfect

    the mod is excellent as it is , i think the next step you should work is to drecrease the lag as much as possible, i noticed that if i enable CQB capability for all units it lags a little when there are many units on the battlefield . Anyway it's an outstanding work , people doesn't know what they are missing

    i just had one of the best experiences since i brought Arma with this mod. I was playing a self made mission lying prone trying to kill a SLA officer at about 150 meters when he began to roll left and right when i shot him . Man i wish i had record it ,he seemed a real person, it was like a movie ! the shaking aim system depending if you are standing or prone at first is a little fustrating , but with the time you get to like it , very challenging

    hi Tony , i've been testing your mod and i have to say it's quite impressive , i'm still discovering it but i like what i see so far . the new animations , specially the lateral step one gives a whole new feeling to the battles, i didn't felt so immersion since SLX mod for OFP. a suggestion though ,I think that to assign different weaponslots to the soldiers is an unnecessary and unrealistic limitation, i can't see why a machinnegunner can't take a rpg or any other weapon in the battlefield if he needs it. keep on testing

    the sound "\GL2Plus\ArmA_misc\heart02.wss" is only 1kb and gives me an error message in game , i think is it because it shows " sound heartbeat not found" EDIT: no, it's not that , it must be a sound from another mod , i have so many installed

    well, i made a simple mission to see how it works, and i think it has to be polished a bit. I placed 3 USA soldiers with their M4 aimpoints but no ammo near 3 dead USA soldiers whith the same weapons with ammo. the 3 soldiers searched the bodies , made the gesture to change the weapon but they didn't take any ammo from the bodies. Then I placed 3 USA soldiers with their M4 aimpoints but no ammo near 3 dead SLA soldiers whith AK74 weapons with ammo. the 3 soldiers searched the bodies and changed the weapons OK . but one of them when he made the change ,changed his ak74 with ammo for another Ak74 with ammo from other body also the scan range is not too wide , one of the soldiers didn' find a corpse at 50 meters well , that's all for now, with a little of work it can be a great adition to the game
