personally i'd like to see these held back a few more weeks so blackblood can iron out all of the little niggles with them and get the random script to work correctly in MP. no point in pressuring the guy to release you'll only get a buggy and rushed addon

how many other addons you got running ? i get ctd on game start if i have too many loaded you have a fair bit of memory there so i dunno.. i got 768 RDRAM maybe a combination of gfx and terrain detail too high and too many addons loaded terrain detail bumps up the memory used by game quite a bit tho maybe lower setting if you have em high and try ? then again i could be talking a load of shite :P

bugger i was halfway thru posting i can reccomend buying a saitek cyborg evo stick (very good mid price range stick at around 30 of the english pounds) i can aslo NOT recomend buying a logitech wingman extreme (shud be called a logitech wingman fall to bits) or buy saitek x45 or x52 flight controls and build yourself a makeshift cockpit in front of your computer (they even have little yellow and black stripey flip up lock for yer missiles button )

you can always personalise it to your own taste just get your favourite bits from each sky pack and compile your own stick all the files in newdata folder and install. read back thru this thread to find out wot bits are wot or use texview to see.

I'm not a mission maker so I guess you should ask in the editing thread if there's a way to decide the level of rain. Changing the lightnings and thunder sounds is nothing special. Just unpbo, replace and makepbo... @ofp.info..Thanx for the hosting. I think it's the final version unless someone releases something really cool that conflicts with this pack so I have to change it. i made some lightning for teh crap sky to see how it worked. get that if you want to see wot to do but it does wot it says on the tin ie. crap... basically 24 textures name starts with "blesk" i planned on making some nice lightning but haven't got round to it yet i'll send em your way llauma if they turn out nice edit:i thought rePBO'ing will bugger up the strela lightning will have to be added to the sky pack new data folder

omg i've got bits of sky packs coming out of my ears nice you tweaked the rain i was thinking of doing that myself cos it was a bit overpowering at night.maybe a little too blue in the day now although not that noticable probs just me staring too hard at it

these are looking good so far ..the randomised stuff works realy well...hopefully there'll be enough RAABers on tonight to give them a proper run thru in MP.

yep and it looks like the worst is going to happen .... although that trailer dont show anything really it doesn't even remotely look or have any kind of hitchhikers feel to it... and i really hope that little japanese toy aint meant to be marvin. i do hope because of it tho they repeat the old tv series. on second thoughts that wos shite aswell as they used the radio actors(was better if you just tuned the picture off and just listened cos then it was just the radio show you got).great theme tune tho think i'll go and dig that out cos i got it on record somewhere was real sorry to hear that douglas adams died cos i dont think i've ever laughed as much at any other books, they litterally do make you LOL

I had some great fun on teh crap mod I would have like to have continued working for teh crap mod, But i want to get this mod finished. although i still need to try get tho's models i started for teh crap mod finished and i may make one or two more and send them over too Skul, when ever i have time. in your own time m8 however much i want to fly your contraptions around , you've obviously been very busy making all this stuff ..keep up the gud work got red alert knocking about somewhere i'm tempted to dig it out for old times sake if i can get to install under xp

you did run the install.bat inside the folder after putting it in flashpoint folder didn't you ? edit: or wot shadowy says @llauma ah right thnx didn't know who made them i hope he wont mind that i left them in ...btw your heads coming along quite nicely

Why not! i got audgiy gamer and my sound is screwed up id be getting a audigy 2 as if ya get a audigy you could end up with more problems.. 1MB L2 Cache/ 800 FSB /HT support ASUS P5P800 Motherboard Support Intel Hyper-Threading Technology 8X AGP, 8USB Port2s, 800 FSB 512 MB DDR RAM 400MHz Dual Channel 160GB WD JB(8MB) 7200 Hard Drive my sound problems are major game is un-playable with this sound card (crackling sound,heaaring battles and gun fire that simply isn't there) good luck better still dont buy any sort of creative soundcard .... there are better ways to waste money like ....setting fire to it. i bought an audigy platinum and have had nowt but problems with it (the latest of which it doesn't even recognise itself as an audigy lol ...cant install drivers) i also bought a second hand machine from a friend with a sb live 5.1 recently and thats a 'bag of shite' aswell
