a while back when we were testing the scripts in multiplayer i found it quite odd that everything else was random on my computer and munk would always be the same (wearing the same hat etc. ... )

* is the default key for the toggle mouse look alt you have to hold down for the same effect ... isn't there a problem simlilar to this if you use a config .cpp instead of a .bin ?

dxdll seems to be different for different people,its best to just fiddle around with the settings in game use app + f9 f10 f11 f12 to select different effects and app + del insert/home end/page up page down to tweak them to your likeing..turning the glare size down is a good place to start as default is too blurry (on my computer anyway)...

you should try having a look in the thread that already exists where people post their dxdll cfg's well after a bit of searching for it all i got was a load of random bollocks as usual ....theres one knocking around somewhere tho ..

i'm semi offline at the moment so cant really get on as much as i'd like ... and i'm missing the cia nights a lot if i can kick my brother off his computer later or fix these network problems and get mine online aswell and have no clan obligations tonight i'll try and join

deffinatly do that -nomap thing then try different drivers id say dont use the latest nvidia drivers on your card but use 66.93 version.. also sometimes my game wont run if i try and load too many addons/mods on my 512mb (ddr ram) computer had any virus's recently ? like real virus's that infect exe's on your computer once i figured that i had a virus after flashpoint would run. only way i could get it to run was patch the game and then it would work but after running once it was infected and wouldn't run again until i applied the patch AGAIN.. also sometimes virus scanner will clean/disinfect an exe but leave it in a state where it wont work like in the game half life you will get an error saying something about modified exe and the game wont run ..just a thought could be something similar

I wouldn't hold my breath if i were you,it's deja vous.every few months i keep reading the same thing.Last time it was sopposed to be released on the 7th of feb.Sorry to sound like a t**t i'm not holding my breath ..ive been playing with the beta since around then... but BB like he said only has to finnish up the cfg then release them so when he returns it should be with a nice public release then everyone can play with these wonderful units and i can enjoy the update edit: it is unfair to hold feb 7 against him , he is just eager to please people and believe me when they are released you will be pleased

yes you need it for the sky to work edit: i think maybe if you use an older installer it will work without HWTL but i'm not 100% sure, better ask llauma about that 1

your mod line looks right .... make sure you are running direct 3d HWTL in preferences it only works with that mode
