    And another one that wasn't there AFAIK in any of the previous versions, this are the errors/bugs: Missing texture message: Black line on the Susat scope after some shots: It appears in the same way that it goes, do not obstructs the sight but is clearly a bug and a bit annoying. *EDIT: The FRAPS does now what the ALT+TAB+PS did before.

    Hi, the v2.0 seems to accept all the game's optics that come into the RH M4/M16 pack, but not the other ones (the Aimpoint, the Reflex, the ACOG T31A and those); also, when i open the inventory i get an error message, something about a missing .paa . This was fixed on the previous version, i would take a screenshot if the Print Screen key would work, but it doesn't. Let's C ya

    Hi, i miss an ammo crate for this weapons, one that haves one of each variant and a couple of magazines per weapon. Let's C ya *EDIT: Forget about it, i had an older version. Great weapons, sand that the picatinny L85A2 don't work with the IanSky optics, his Reflex is great too!.

    Some buttons don't work

    Hi, would be great to know if there's someone looking into this, the campaign and most of the MP games can't be won if i can't adjust the zeroing of my weapon or switch my weapons; the zeroing problems seems to happen only to scopes ARs, it works on vehicles and on ARs without scopes, but it didn't happen on the Showcase Mission when i had to take an Sniper rifle and send two squads with ARTI & CAS support... . The 'Next Weapon' (remapped on the NUM PAD Zero) & 'Toggle Zoom Out' key (that do not remains zoomed out when aiming down the sights) problems still there and are permanent, not casual; they just don't work.     Light issues now?

    Hi, the light issues that i've are like a flickering effect on low light (not night) conditions, by the dawn or dusk; you can see it on the corners and the top of the screen. Let's C ya

That's what draw me back from the ArmA series, that it depends too much on the addon/mod makers to fix issues or improve vital things, if the addon/mod is not 'the most popular' then forget about join public MP servers with it; things like... that the reflex sights crossairs dissapear under certain light conditions... the overbacked UV maps... the subrealistic weapon sway that i still don't understand and things like that. But the ArmA3 is a great improvement anyways from the ArmA2, it has surprised me for good.
  7. Hi, i don't use it because it's too sensible, is as if the weapon didn't had any weight or inertia; aside of that... the recoil doesn't work as IRL (up and to the left) so it makes it harder for me. Let's C ya

    Running animation with pistol still strange/ugly

    Ahmen to that. The pistol handling anims are thousands of times better than in the ArmA2, are great and a clear improvement; the only bad point that i see with 'em... is that you can't make the AI handle 'em in 'Careless' behaviour as a dumb retarded drunktard from the deep south... and their size. The pistols are made too small IMO, a M1911 A1 haves 21cm from the tip of the slide to its bottom, and a P-99 haves 18cm too from the slide's tip to it's bottom; in game they look too small (IMO) and as if the possitioning LOD were badly placed,placed too low in the hands, as sunk into 'em... . Also, the anims do not correspond with the current pistol handling/routines that the military train nowadays. Let's C ya

    Recoil with and without deadzone

    Hi, i think that if you sume the silly weapon sway (that shouldn't be there unless you're wounded or very tired...) to the crazy dead zone that seems that makes it look as if the weapon didn't had any weight at all, it could be worst instead good. Also... if notice it, IRL, the weapons that spit by the right side, raise up and to the left; pistols too. That's another thing that is wrong on the game, i think that it should be changed/fixed.     2 CAS Aircraft remain unknown. What if?

    Hi, the yak-131 will be a perfect CAS plane for the OPFOR, for the BLUFOR... idn.. i love the Bronco!, but sure that they don't gonna use it for the game... i think that the F-35B is good enough for that role, but they could use the X-47B too; i would have liked to see more EU crap on the game aside of MV-22B and the AH-1Z & UH-1Y (of course) i would'd liked to see an Eurocopter Tiger or the Augusta A-129 as LAH, and a EF-2000 or a JAS-39 as Interceptor/MR plane. But a YAK-131 would fit perfectly as OPFOR CAS plane and would be good match for the F-35B that as we all know... it sucks IRL if you compare it with a good GR-9. Let's C ya

Hi, i would had added some more things to the CIA letter, like graphic bugs or issues that are there from the ArmA, ArmA:QG, ArmA2 and ArmA2:OA; things like the reticle of the reflex optic dissapearing under certain light conditions, when you turn On the flashlight and things like that... too strong RVMAT maps covering this reflex optics glasses aswell many if not all the vehicles glasses at least from the inside or from the player's POV, wich can impeed you to aim/shoot or view right. Also the same too strong RVMAT maps over the soldiers skin, their eyes (they all look drunk or about to cry) and things like that, they're there since the ArmA some of this issues and others are there since the ArmA2 and they (BIS) were warned about already, but they didn't fixed/changed this issues aswell as many others. My old CIT tickets of this issues from the ArmA & ArmA2 are there, check the date if you don't belive me... but i've to say that the ArmA3 is a surprinsingly good game and is many times better in all forms to the ArmA2 (and much more to the loathing OA) and a great work; it has impressed me how they'd improved their main product since the ArmA2 even having some of the same issues/bugs that the ArmA/ArmA:QG & ArmA2 had and i hope that it be improved over the time and made more stable ASAP.     Constant CTD ARMA3

    Hi, i haven't installed the last patch... but instead CTDs i've CTSs (Crash To Shit), sometimes my PC got shutdown, some times it turns on again by itself... and other times i've to push the Power Button to get it started again. No error messages, no previous warnings or signs... shudden computer shutdown; this are my specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.130318-1533). System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. System Model: EX38-DQ6. BIOS: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG. Processor: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU E8400 3.00GHz (2 CPUs). Memory:12288MB RAM. DirectX Version: DirectX 11. VCard: ATI Radeon HD 5900. Sound Device: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio). Surprinsignly i get between 24 to 57fps, depending on the events on the screen... and when it works and don't CTS. Let's C ya

    Some buttons don't work

    Hi, seems that the 'Zoom Out Toggle' key (vital for indoors/CQB) also doesn't work when you're aiming down the sights, i also have problems with the 'Zeroing Up/Down' with GL mounted weapons... after shoot the GL, the 'Zeroing Up/Down' stops working with the rifle and only works with the GL; also on GL mounted weapons the 'Next Weapon' key stops working after shoot the GL. The weird thing is... that the one that doesn't works is the 'NUM Pad Zero' one, wich i've mapped as 'Next Weapon' key, but i also have it mapped on the ']' and this one works, same for the 'Previous Weapon' key mapped on the '[', i've a spanish keyboard configuration on windows. Let's C ya *EDIT: The 'Zoom Out Toggle' key, only works (only stays zoomed out by itself) when you're not aiming down the sights, if you're aiming down the sights it doesn't stays so you've to keep pushing it for make it stay zoomed out; it's very annoying. *EDIT II: Seems that the 'Zeroing Up/Down' keys (mapped on the 'Num Pad +/-' keys) also don't works on the MX DMR, it keeps it's zeroing at 300m and can't be zeroed up or down with the Zeroing on those num pad keys. *EDIT III: The 'Next Weapon' key mapped on the 'NUM Pad Zero' key don't works neither on choppers. *EDIT IV: Seems that the 'Zeroing Up/Down' keys (mapped on the 'Num Pad +/-' keys) just don't work at all, simple & clear... you've to guess & pray to hit, adjusting the fire depending on where the 1St bullet lands, and that's no way of enter in a war... (read: play).

    Custom Face

    Hi, that's what makes me think that BIS never gonna fix/take care of the custom faces issue; they did it/'em as they're on pourpouse. The too shiny .rvmat that covers the head model is there too on every game's model, it screw up any colour value that you paint on your custom face and it also covers everything else in game; giving preternatural shines and reflections when it shouldn't, screwing up IMO the game, because you don't see the colours or shines from the skin and/or most other materials.     Hi, if the thing hasn't changed since the ArmA2... any texture that you place on you player's profile folder, called: face.jpg . That take less than 96Kb Will work in MP for you and for others, but seems that there isn't any way of aboid to have than purple arms and legs if you use a/any custom face; seems as if BIS didn't care about the customization of the player's character or that they've left it as it's rightnow as punishment for those who want to use a custom face. I haven't seen any offical word from any BIS member about the customization of the player's character face, arms or legs; i bet that they don't gonna say or change nothing about. Let's C ya *To BusStopWilly: Could you put the Armaholic.com's link on the 1St post?, will be better IMO.

    Syria - What should we do if anything?

    Hi, i think that the best solution at this point... will be an intervention for Bashard Al Ashad, againist the so called "rebels"; in exchange for some political reforms, like allow other political partys, freedom of vote and expression and that kind of things. I don't know about you... but when i see those islamo-faszists yelling "allahu akbar", they don't inspire me any confidence, on their values, views and goals. The day that the Mushlim Brothers Brotherhood won the elections on Egypt, to celebrate it... they'd set up on fire the science library of the Cairo's university; is this the people, their point of view..!! the one that you want to be help on an armed conflict!?. I don't. I think that this kind of theological point of view goes againist any logic and the common wealth and shouldn't be allowed and much less allow it to spray arround, let 'em control countrys and have access to weapons of any kind. If they were worryed about the good of the syrian people... they should make an agreement with Al Ashad and exchange military aid for "democratic changes". Let's C ya

    Hi, if the clouds were yellow instead pink and had some ground level dense fog... it will be the perfect enviroment for a 2000AD Comics mod, it seems to fit perfectly a Rogue Trooper, Judge Dreed and Stronium Dog mods among other marvels from 2000AD like the ABC Warriors and all that stuff; is one of the most beautyful terrains that i've seen on the ArmA series. Now it just need the dust to match the main texture colour. Great job. Let's C ya
  21. Hi, the war is always an option, when you've said all what you could and there's nothing more to say... all what you've left is to fight; this means war if we're talking about countrys. But there many kinds of wars... the economic war is another version/concept of war and can be as destructive as an open war, with firearms, tanks and planes, corpses on the streets and everything; the so called "repressentative democrazy" is about to fall?, i think that's close... why?, because those people don't repressent us... how someone that trips into official car would repressent me, my interests and circumstances? when i earn 800€ x month and the flat's rent are 560€ (light, gas & water apart). They earn stratospheric ammounts in relation to us (the lower class, "previously known as..." working class!!) they don't even talk to people like us, they live in their world and we live in our world... with cops, fights, gangs, drugs, mini-jobs, low wages, broken cars and surrounded by pharisees, on the streets, on the TV, on the pubs, on internet, on the congress and political partys... even on our own familys. How will one of this thiefs repressent us...!?, they don't have to fight for live... they just pay and go on, because they've last name and all what comes with it; we just have our hands and our empty pockets... . The nowadays people are not ready for an open war... imagine one of those lady gaga's worshippers with a rifle on the hands... ppff.. for God's shake... i would shot him myself, even if he wears my same uniform; overall if he wears the same uniform than me...!!, the braindeads that our western nowadays society create are not ready for this. Neither for make a better political system, were friends and enemys can live and work together for the common wealth on a peaceful and and fair society; part of this... is an antropolgic thing and we can solve it, but you can't neither count on the nowadays people to fix/improve what's fixable or to go to an open war with the expectancy of win.     AI Reporting contact

    Hi, IRL the report in protocol that i know is: - [unknown Target]: Contact, X meters, X O'clock. - [Recognized NME]: Enemy, X meters, X O'clock. Sometimes, not always... whom spotted the contact specified a bit more, in a matter of seconds, less than 10secs; like: - Man, civilian (usualy with some description, like: "with black jacket" or "with freak's sun glasses"). - Rifleman (and then informed about his behaviour: "Looking arround" or "walking"). When there was terrain differences (heigh) then the thing was like: - Contact, X meters low (or high if was above our level), X O'clock. And soon after that came the brief description of the contact and it's nature, civilian or military and clothes or weapon; in the case of groups it was like: - Contact, NME squad X meters, X O'clock, Low or high. For the vehicles it was like: - Contact, [Vehicle type], X meters, X O'clock. The SL used to tell us if it looked emty or if it wasn't and what direction (left, right, front, backwards) the main weapon of the vehicle was aiming at.     Whats the deal with bad players?

    Hi, IMO many players are dissapointed when they see that the ArmA series are not an arcade mindless thing and as they're frustrated with their lack of "talent" outside the arcades world... they try to ruin the game experience for others because of this; it's a very common human behaviour. Then there're also others that are unhappy with the game and act in the same stupid way, could be because the game's mechanics... the game's content... or some specific game's aspect; there're also people who say that there's a "conspiracy", aganist not COD/BF like games... and that there's people who work (as hackers or morons) into ruin the alternative games to re-direct the players into those best-sellers/pop-games as part of the market strategy of those big companys. I just think that there's too much stupid in the world, and many of 'em have internet access. Let's C ya

    VTS Simple weapon resting

    Hi, looks like a great addon; i've seen the video where it shows how the weapon is rested on the pal, and i think that it should rest on the pal's shoulder instead on his/her back. It's common to do it that way IRL with the MG3. Very good addon anyways. Let's C ya
