well when my 4 copies arive spend the time Installing it on 3 Desktops and 1 Laptop then setup Dedicated Server with OFP and Arma Servers. Then try out Campaign which if its any good play it. Then after finishing or stopping Campaign start conversion of favorite Mission for MP

Would be nice but I doubt AI would be able to navigate them properlly or be able to stay in them without going through walls and etc

With how many players you tested it? How many players are normally playing, what kind of Maps you play? Use of bigg script-heavy addons, etc...Has anything changed in the setup/playernumbers/maps you play, as you blocked gamespy?

Missions are CRCTI variants with Extended Event Handlers. The CRCTI mod uses about 1.5gb of addons.
Amount of players seems to be random Its internal most of the time meaning at my Lan I have setup where multiple computers are all linked and a Wirelesss Bridge goes to another building allowing others in that building to play in this network as well.

Indeed very interesting,.... however hardly to believe by me to be honest with you.You could always try and see how it works for you it may or may not work i dunno I have only my server availible to test it on thats it

Well We have elimiated weird server lag over lan on our server. We blocked it from talking to the gamespy servers at all because even in Local it attempts to and does. Sites also get info and Ping data from the server through gamespy as wel.
After blocking the 3 gamespy servers for our server we no longer get.
-Delayed or inaccurate Lock on Positions
-No Marked Enemies on the map that are not there
-Blipping Markers on map no longer there
-Initial Server Lag when server contacts gamespy servers when mission loads is gone.
-Most Random lag when server is getting pinged and sending data to the sites that collect data from your server like users/points/run time and etc.
So now i guess we will just only allow direct IP connects or Local users anymore as long as this is the only fix for this problem.

As long as AI dont ignore smoke screens as they do currently otherwise whats the point again using it with AI

If a player is CO there is no random spawn even when selecting random spawn it goes to Fixed spawn.
If no player is CO there is random spawn when selecting random spawn...
-We fixed the Shilka not engaging choppers on our server by repacking the main CRCTI Addon File with PBO Viewer

Well thats too bad I guess I wont be able to do precise Texturing so I guess I will wait and see if Arma 2 Visitor 4 will have this and support all in one map making I rather do a map custom then the way they currently allow you to make a map. Now I see why it takes so much time to make maps for this game.

Well I just want to use the default objects and textures used in default Arma Maps that came with the game thats where I am stuck
My objects and texture windows have no files at all more aless
But after looking at this program and the tutorials some more it does not look like this will allow me to manually paint textures its just a Import system for heights no manual painting of tetxtures...

All the tutorials so far are giving me a headache
I want to create a custom map using Visitor but I can't place objects or any textures its all blank I been hand making an Island I dont want to use Heightmaps and etc.
I am just dont get it even the official tutorials have enough reference errors that it doesnt make sense half the time
After 1 year messing with this bloody tool I still dont have any textures or objects just a blank custom map with custom Height values

Does it support multi Core CPU Dual or Quad core for optimal performance. And what is the requirement for a dedicated server for optimal performance
Does it still have the AI Tracking problems where units will be moving eratically at distances.
Proper Load Balancing for Network without neading custom configurations (but still allowing)
Realtime Lock Position sometimes current in Arma Lock positions can show outdated locations or proposed position which is off by 500-1500m even on a Internal Gigabit Network Lan Game with custom Server Output Settings/Default

Player AI responsiveness compaired to AI Groups not as delayed.?
AI Gunner Accuracy compaired to AI Player Gunner Accuracy ?

Other things like Server Commands/Administration I presume are the same or very similar just like OFP to Arma Transition.

Observations after a few week testing
-Shilka's Refuse to attack Air Targets function more like APC
-AA Pods only engage Helo not Jets (general arma bug I think)
-Vulcan's rarely attack jets but tanks will(general arma bug I think)

Not intereseted I have seen people get banned because someone does not like someones game tactics/does not talk when playing/and other minor trivial things that do not affect other users besides some Admins for some reason...
So I rather not have people banned that were not cheating/hacking. To this day My server has banned no one yet....

Check Chipset Drivers and what driver do you have installed atm for your Nvidia Card??
I am guessing this is just a new thing not always happened?

Is there a way to make bridges Invulnerable in MP AI keeps destroying the brdiges making progress annoying when the 2 sides of AI meet each other in armor.
Or is there a script to make repair trucks to fix them by chance

Not Entirely some of us can still overclock without the Overclocking software....I overclock through bios

I have a rig with a Phenom 2 940 and an ECS 790GX board and surprisingly it does very well even when overclocked to 3.6ghz with Arma

If you need a english copy for NA and dont want to wait Preorder Arma 2 from amazon.uk thats what I did
