  1. ok so since we got the 1.09beta patch once and a blue moon one of the 3 computers in my lan will crash/freeze since the patch.

    The error the server reports as the person freezes/crashes is User "User Modified EXE File". and it will say that till the user restarts they're computer. Checked for a crash or error log on the system but found none. Tried with 1.08 Server and Clients and this does not happen.

    All 3 machines are Windows 2k3 32bit ENT SP2 with 8800gt, 4gb ram, E6850, and etc

    Now I installed the 3 games myself and patched them and I know there aint a modified EXE of any sort.

    Using mods Recoil Mod, FDF Audio Mod with Hotfix


  2. #LOGIN then the password and the LOCK in the corner is set to closed after all the people join but when someone attempts to login while game is on tho server is locked admin will CTD after 5mins of attempt


  3. 1: SEtup a server a user Logs in as Admin

    2: Server is locked because mission does not support JIP

    3: Someone attempts to join

    4: User is kicked because server is locked by server

    5: Admin who logged in CTD about 5mins later

I have experienced a strange bug but when say I am loggig onto one of my Arma servers if say we start a game and lock it and someone joins the person logged onto the Admin Slot will get CTD after 5mins of someone attempting when its someone else trying to log in from outside the internal network through gamespy browser built in game even tho the game is locked


  5. This one fixed my servers blipping AI 0.000001; kinda funny to watch the servers upload speed of 1.2mb/s now though luckily its closed lan 1gbit since my over the internet upload is 500kb/s before the upload without modifying the value it was 64kb/s upload now much at all


  6. -Large Rocks Hitboxes are too large so even if ur gun and view is not onbscurred by the rock ur bullet will hit a magic wall in the air beside the rock. Happens also with vehicles and u even see the puff in the middle of the air.

    - KA50 Rocket zig zags too much and usually hits behind or infront of a vehicle.

    - Tanks Flying and TIpping over still around

    - M17 and UH60 seem to take 1-3 Sabots to destroy might just be or i dunno (Since 1.09)

    - AI Pathfinding should be fixed the grid they use still too large

    - GUI Interface for Arma Dedicated SErver with just basic GUI and Options wth Values would help some users.

    - Crashed choppers if a player is not near will when close even if a long time later will hear a chopping rotar spinning down.

    - AI Vehicle Can Target you when slightly covered by a bush but u cant tell AI to target them

    - Apartment Buildings the ledge is transparent and u can shoot through it on the roof.

    - Spottig people through mountains still happens.... and solid objects

    - All A rockets seem to go for the rear rotar no matter what direction and if the chopper is moving or not as well as what direction it is positioned to u.

    - Still not advanced as commands to tell AI to pickup individual Ammo and WEapons like OFP

    - Tank Barrles do not seem to be able to aim as low as OFP tank barrels

    - AH6 Bullets scare tank crews out of tanks even if not damaged


  7. After 5-30 min of playing on Normal settings game freezes my PC , after i hear a sound from system tower and i need to restart my pc.

    On High settings it takes 5-15 min for the same bug.

    I have this bug only with 1.09.

    System spec -

    Win Xp sp 2

    Intel Duo 6600

    GF 8800gts 320mb

    1gb Ram

    I was getting that too but I was able to alt tab hitting it twice and it would come back. If I would just sit there eventually 5mins or so it would unfreeze. I have a 8800GT to fix my problem I just had to update the Video Card bios. I also have to other systems with 8800gt's and had to do the same because they all started getting that with the same system and same fix when I installed 1.09 beta

    Fixed: leader, AI tanks subordinate to a player sometimes did not open fire against some enemy tanks.

    Thank you Suma and the rest of BIS staff from fixing this problem,it also shows that you are indeed listening to the community,but after toying with the beta I've noticed that still no love for the attack choppers. confused_o.gif

    Please BIS add a little more armor or tweak those AI "sniper" gunners.A single BRDM 2 or 2 T72 are able to kill the gunner or damage the engines in a Cobra in seconds,attack choppers aren't flying fortresses but this precision is killing me.

    As a human player I can avoid the enemy fire with no problem but the AI barely has any chance to survive,many of my missions aren't playable because when I request air support to destroy a simple BRDM2 or a T72,those Cobras go down in seconds(even with the skill at 0.30 they still shoot from those BRDMs like friggin' snipers).

    This command usely in a override file within a mission for the Classname for the vehicle makes them just shoot at the chopper not snipe u out crewVulnerable = false; But it does still happen time to time but they are no longer firing just at the pilots head


  9. Shooting T72/M1A1 and other tanks with 50 CAL or 12.7 kills them usually in 100 rounds. I have not had time to test to see if they fixed the rear tack bug where u could kill T72 and lower with 30 rounds in the rear sprokect (M16)

    Oh ya forgot to say if u hit vehicles they still sometimes get launched like a soccer and fly up or across the map and in alot of cases ignore Hit Detection and fly through buildings
