when firing my kar98k I am more accurate standing then when crouched without support for the weapon -

Dont have Arma 2 yet but can anyone confirm or not confirm if the rocks the large ones if the hit boxes are larger thent he model or if they are the proper size compaired to Sahrani Rocks in Arma 1 where u would hit magical hitbox of the rock in the middle of the air?

Cheating AI from ArmA1 is back?

AI needs to have blocked or blurred vision through certain LOD's but still be able to say see you through a hole in a brick wall. If need be get a soldier hide one behind a hill have him attack something behind the hill to divert the AI's radar so You can have a chance to bypass they're distracted radar. But remeber AI will only trace a Target for so long without visual or more sound distractions -

as long as I can turn off Motion Blur Depth of Field I will be happy ,I have yet to be able to recreate game dev's version of these things in real life in the field. Depth of field is really overdone in games or improperlly done. AS long as 505 release has Disable as an option I will be happy I will deal with Overdone Bloom and Post Processing like Arma since it seems its the game lighting engine no real way of turning off even if its overdone. -

well park a jeep in arma 1 put a guy in it and shoot at him its not even kinda bullet proof its just a windshield 1st shot should kill the AI inside

some games with activation as in GTA4 run strangely when cracked . And so far Fade shows signs of anomalies if cracked so I doubt ARma 2 being cracked will run fine. So you will have to activate to play online properlly if that is the route they go. Fade is Arma 2's anti piracy why add 3 levels like Activation/CD Check/Fade -

Run 4 seperate games and run activations for them gonna be a pain in the ass everytime major hardware changes that happen that require OS change. AS well as I am not gonna Phone for 4 Copies when they need to be called in when out of installs -

the 360 buttons are to change camera view if u look closely for playback of game footage I swear I havent seen that in a PC game before *Sarcasm* Its PC just someone using a Controller why dunno

Ai in Cayo for exmaple when your on the roof we got dropped from a chopper to a roof, the AI climbed the rafter to an ajacent building where they then engaged us fro the roof. Ai can do it but it seems rare. I have had them even go up a ladder and get me in the church window. But most of the times they are prevented from doing it because of the Grid. Supposedly the grid is so damn small this wont limit AI movements like in Arma

Current Key system prevents people from using 1 key twice online on legit servers and others that try and use non legit keys cant play or are affected in ways I would prefer that I am not for activation. But its all up to Dev's. But putting activation limits will also piss me off even more if they do put activation. -

Here is my :confused: Question does the following still happen in Arma 2 Can one destroy armor by shooting the Rear Track with Small Arms like Pistols/Rifles/emplaced MG. Or any other points on a tank. Currently on our server we have been testing stock Arma (1.14 and 1.16)and Mod Arma and have noticed one can kill Medium and Heavy armor with the following tactics. One can use an emplaced 50cal or Russian MG and shoot BMP/T72/M1/Shilka/and any other APC and just pummel it with a few hundred rounds and the result will be destruction or Disabling the Vehicle. This also happens using the MG on vehicles. Other cases is some Vehicles BMP/M113/Shilka if you use a hand held small arms weapon if you shoot the rear track or the lights on the vehicle you can destroy it /set off damage alarm/ or cause crew to evacuate the vehicle. Grenades (Hand Held) even damage all armor vehicles to some extent like small arms. Does enemy AI still only fire at Main Turret/Barrel of a Vehicle aka OFP and Arma. If you have say the front or back part of the tank exposed but you have the turret hidden the AI refuse to shoot at you. So does AI more dynamicly target a vehicle or still just a main designated spot. AA Rockets fire from Infantry in some cases result in more damage then Hand held Anti Tank Weapons... -Just a small word can't call it a simulator if your teaching people u can kill armor with small arms by shooting it.

well if thats the case maybe its time for a modder group to rework the Armor and Penetration system unless its hard coded
