Quick Reaction Force ( QRF ) Help

Does anybody know of any scripts/methods of adding in an enemy qrf? Example - AI Infantry squads are patrolling the forest of a 5x5km area. When one of these squads are attacked, a motorized QRF unit from an enemy base rolls out to support the infantry squad. So basically when Inf. Squad A-Z detects Bluefor, then QRF unit moves to the area around whichever Inf. Squad is/was under contact. Thanks. -

I am having that AK-47 problem as well, but I think it's because of the ACE mod. I will get rid of all the other addons and single out yours to see if it works. -
I am having the same problems as well, it seems that... 1. Most users having Win7 64 bit, I7, and 6 gb DDR3 2. View Distance is above 7500 M and flying a jet will cause the crash pretty quick.

Hell yeah! Is there a way to be able to implement a GPS system for GBUs as well? Sort of like, enter in the grid by lat and long, then a laser marker is created there, you drop the bomb, the bomb locks onto that laser and then boom? -

7th Cavalry Regiment

We just broke our members record this week. We now have over 300 members in the 7th Cavalry regiment. This includes all areas of operations, including CoD4, CoD5, AA3, BFBC2, and ofcourse, Arma2 Combine Operations. In our Arma2 Battalion, we are now at 132 active duty members. This means that we have 132 people posting once a week for their roll call, and conducting 1 section practice. We have an Aviation Company of Fixed Wing Attack, Fixed Wing Transport, Rotary Wing Attack, Rotary Wing Transport, and a Special Operations Flight Wing. Armor Company with 2 tank platoons, a Cavalry Scout section, and a Mortar section. Infantry Company with 1 Airborne Platoon, 1 Stryker Platoon, and 2 Sniper sections. So if you are into large coordinated attacks with all aspects being brought to bear on the enemy, this is the place for you. -

Come check us out on our OA Server, just filter server names for "7cav". Our servers are usually pretty full, so there are always people to fight with. -

really???? really?????? why are we so concerned wtih what it is called? I would rather have a bug free, feature filled addon that adds an immense amount of realism. I could care less if it was called Nou's and Jaynus's steaming pile of awesomesauce.

I am having some issues, I have been using this in the group leader's init line. To reduce the accuracy of AI, especially for untrained militia fighters. Now when using Zeus, it seems as it ignoring this line. Any suggestions? -

One more thing, when rearming the A10, it doesn't reload the 30mm anymore. ACE changed the way the 30mm fires, it has 2 firing modes now. Not sure if that's why it doesnt reload it anymore. classname for the ammo n stuff - ACE_1350Rnd_30mmAP_A10 The A10 uses two firing modes now, a short and a long burst. -

RAF_chin47 <- is the Chinook and thanks GossamerS for the others As far as systems, just the HUD would be nice with the flare functions for the Chinook and the UH60Ls The only additional one that would be cool is with the UH60L_HF, if you could put the Hellfire camera on there but only make it be able to lock remotely and no self designation. Also, I discovered today that you can't use the ACE 5t trucks for rearming ( mtvrs work ofcourse ). Here is it's classname- ACE_Truck5tReammo Thanks for all that you've done! -

Just a quick update, we have been running a great program called "Best Squad Competition" where we come up with 6 man teams to accomplish a series of tasks. This is on top of our bi weekly missions and monthly campaign operations. Again we strive for as close to real life military as possible. We have several retired and active duty military running the show in our Arma2 battalion ( that's right, we have a Battalion, with 2 companies in it ). We have a pool of military experience from US Army Infantry, Aviation, and Special Forces. -

Hey everybody, I am the Infantry Platoon Leader for C/3/1-7. We have over 35 people in our Infantry platoon currently and we plan on expanding into an entire Infantry company. Of course we need more than just ground pounders. We have a Tank platoon and an aviation company as well whom are always looking for more people to fill their ranks. The only issue is that we need YOU! To join us in our great community. There are no other arma2 communities as large and well organized as 7th Cav. We have several Active Duty Army in command positions, and we ensure we stay true to tactical realism. I myself, am an Active Duty soldier and I have been in the Army for almost 6 years now. I ensure our tactics are followed to standard. If you don't feel comfortable with ACE, we have an extensive training course called AIT ( Advanced Individual Training ) which will help you become more familiar with ACE, as well as teaching you the knowledge you need to be successful in Combined Operations in Arma2. Currently we run 1 campaign operation monthly, but hold section practices weekly. We do run single missions every other week or so. During these operations we usually have 50-60 people all playing together, and it is great fun.
